The thirteenth Angel, and the Angel of Hail. A fungus-based Angel that appeared over SEELE's sky citadel in thundercloud form.

* TheAssimilator: He's fully capable of taking over and controlling any machine through fungal infection.

* UpToEleven: Canon only gave us a taste of what Bardiel's capable of. In this story his fungal body is capable of engulfing the massive sky citadel.

The fourteenth Angel, and the Angel of Strength.

The fifteenth Angel, and the Angel of Birds. Appearing just outside of Earth's atmosphere, she comes to the planet bearing a message regarding Lilith.

The sixteenth and final Angel encountered, as well as the Angel of Womb.

The thirteenth Angel, and the Angel of Hail.

* ContrivedCoincidence: Iruel had intended to infest the MAGI computer system in order to release Adam, but the part was rejected by NERV in favor of a more efficient model. SEELE picked up the infected part instead and plugged it into their computer network, right aroud the time they had access to Adam's remains. Iruel considers it extremely lucky it all worked out.

* CripplingOverspecialization: He can only properly function in a high-temperature, high pressure environment, such as the magma chamber of a volcano. Once exposed to lower-pressure environments, his body starts to expand to the point of exploding.

* HoistByTheirOwnPetard: He gets a taste of his own medicine when Shinji and Asuka make use of sync training to counter him. He tries to merge back into one to disrupt them, but NERV was counting on that...

* ActuallyPrettyFunny: When Yui joked that Rei HasTwoMommies due to absorbing the blood from Yui giving Naoko a blood transfusion, Naoko actually finds the notion amusing.

* GenreSavvy: When Mayumi first comes into the picture, Naoki comes to the correct conclusion that SEELE secretly sent her as a spy.

A rather egocentric member of SEELE's combat unit. He wields the Revolver Cannon, a Gatling housed in his cybernetic right leg, with a reloader housed in his right arm.

Durga's partner, and arguably the one with the least amount of his original bodyn remaining. He wields the Tornado Drill, twin turbine drills that telescope from his arms and manipulate wind energy.

* LogicalWeakness: As the most mechanized of the artificial Stand users, he also the most vulnerable to electrical shortage, as proven by Rei hitting him with her Grand Judgement.

* TransformingMecha: He can go from humanoid to jet form with just a thought. While in jet form he often ferries Durga around.

* ConnectedAllAlong: He admits to having done time at Green Dolphin Prison, and likely saw some of the events of ''Stone Ocean'' while there, as he notes to have witnessed powers the likes of which SEELE just can't replicate.

* SuperPrototype: How he sees the newly modified Unit-02, noting how identical it is to Adam, albiet with blue armor and a shark motif.

* WhamLine: It was hinted by Sachiel that Stand users what humans in this series are supposed to be, but Shamshel comparing Shinji's power to that of the Makers (as in Adam and Lilith's makers) let's us know that Earth was supposed to be very different.

* BarrierWarrior: He maintains a Strong AT Field at all times, which is only the most powerful of energy-based weapons can penetrate.

* CripplingOverspecialization: He can only properly function in a high-temperature, high pressure environment, such as the magma chamber of a volcano. Once exposed to lower-pressure environments his body starts to expand to the point of exploding.

* HonorBeforeReason: With only Unit-01 and possibly Mega World capable of reaching him in space, he could have comfortably bombarded the [=GeoFront=] to free Adam. But his suicide run made it possible to defeat him after some difficulty, and at that point Adam's remains had already been stolen by SEELE.

* PersonOfMassDestruction: He has enough mass that his body hitting the planet would wipe out Zero Point, and the resulting tidle wave would wipe out thousands over in Japan. Just trying to halt his impact makes the pilots feel like they're trying to hold back an earthquake, and that's with all five of them plus Mega World.

* BigEater: Her body has a literal BlackHoleBelly called a Dirac Sea, and as a result she has a huge appetite. She practically drools when she spots the huge crab-like mech SEELE deploys against Keebo and Mari, devouring it once they cripple it.

* CripplingOverspecialization: She's confined to the ground and can't elevate herself, which is bad since at the time she appeared Adam was held inside SEELE's flying fortress.

* OhCrap: She was trying to avoid catching the attention of the pilots while trying to find Adam. Unfortunately for her, her appetite gets the better of her and Keebo and Mari spot her as she goes to devour a crab mech they had just disabled.

* ThisIsGonnaSuck: Just as she's struggling with Mega World, Jet Alone wrenches open the plug hatches for the [=EVAs=], and the pilots summon them remotely. Matareal quicky realizes how screwed she is.

His Stand, [[https://archiveofourown.org/works/34070629/chapters/86715589 Winter Wonderland]], is named after the song by [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felix_Bernard Felix Bernard]]. It allows him to maintain his core temperature, even in evironments where he's not native.

* ShipperOnDeck: It's implied that he deliberatly spooked Asuka in the shower to get her to show off for Shinji, and possible get them closer.

* NormalFishInATinyPond: Jet Alone can't stand up to the Angels, so it merely distracts them until the [=EVAs=] can give it an opening to retrieve the Angel's core. On the other hand, no other man-made war machine can stand up to it, and regularly downs SEELE's aircrafts and mechs by the dozens.

* BarrierWarrior: He can control his AT Field better than even Ramiel, even given it electrical properties to match what his teammates can do.

* {{Foil}}: Her Stand is one to Shinji's Cruel Angel's Thesis. While Shinji got his Stand from one of the arrows and it has an emphasis on offensive and utility, Mari was born with her Stand and it has an emphasis on defense and physical enhancement.

* IShouldHaveBeenBetter: This is why his Stand is called "Radioactive". As a young boy, he manifested his Stand to contain the blast when Adam crash-landed in Antarctica, but failed to contain the radioactive fallout because he didn't know the explosion would be radioactive. He managed to quickly shield himself before he got contaminated, and Mistao was already sealed in a lead container, but the rest of the expedition died from radiation poisoning. His Stand's name serves as a reminder for him to always do research on whatever he's trying to block so he'll be able to protect more people in the future.

* AdaptationalWimp: [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic Canon Cadence]] was an Alicorn, which was equal to being a PhysicalGod in her show, and her magic revolved around ThePowerOfLove. She also helped defeat King Sombra after the Crystal Empire appeared. Here, she doesn't have godlike power, and while she does have a offensively powerful Stand, its nature requires her to stand still, making her extremely reliant on Shining Armor's barriers.

* HiddenDepths: He's apparently a major geek deep down, as one of his earliest attempts to woo Yui involved corny singing

* UnwittingPawn: SEELE intended for him to be this, using Yui's canon fate to emotionally manipulate him into instigating Third Impact under the vain hope of getting her back. This would have led to him abandoning Shinji in his misguided attempts to avoid being a bad father, had he not been stopped by Nu Mikitakazo Nshi, who pointed out that by abandoning Shinji, he was creating a SelfFulfillingProphecy. Nu Mikitakazo Nshi's motivated him to find other ways to rescue Yui, unwittingly breaking himself free of SEELE's control in the process.

* TheLostLenore: Exploited. Lorenz Keel wanted her to be this to Gendo -- by losing Yui, Gendo would become depressed and desperate enough to use horrific means to bring back his beloved wife, which would have both made him an UnwittingPawn for SEELE. This also would have alienated Shinji into becoming an ExtremeDoormat, which in canon eventually kicked off Third Impact. Fortunately, thanks to Nu Mikitakazo Nshi's intervention, Gendo has a JerkassRealization and is motivated to research alternative ways to rescue Yui, eventually succeeding in doing so.

* SoleSurvivor: Other than Shining, she's the only survivor of the Antartic expedition that was wiped out when Adam exploded.

* SparedByTheAdaptation: She never even ''touched'' Unit-00, let alone got shoved inside to have her soul trapped inside.

* ForgotFlandersCouldDoThat: He may look and act like a goofball at times, but he's very intelligent and a competent intelligence agent. This catches Misato off-guard when Kaji provides and exceptional plan for dealing with Israfel.

* NormalFishInATinyPond: Jet Alone can't stand up to the Angels, so it merely distracts them until the [=EVAs=] can give it an opening to retrieve the Angel's core. On the other hand, no other man-made war machine can stand up to it, and regularly downs SEELE's aircrats and mechs by the dozens.

* BreakingOldTrends: He's the only BigBad not to be a ArchEnemy of the Joestar Clan in some capacity. Instead he's one to the Speedwagon Foundation due to killing their founder.
* DidntThinkThisThrough: On two counts regarding Speedwagon. First, while he might have expected Speedwagon to read the contract he offered, it was a stupid idea to have Enya and Dio sign it first, since that set off a red flag for Speedwagon. Second, him trying to appeal to Speedwagon having lived through both World Wars as a reason why he should have seen the worst of humanity falls flat, since Speedwagon has seen even worse than war while he was living on Ogre Street... And also the best of humanity, through the Joestar family.

* EvilCannotComprehendGood: As Speedwagon notes, Lorenz may be even more evil than Dio (who at least could claim to have a FreudianExcuse), and doesn't truly understand the true power of humanity or how it is ever evolving.

* SufficientlyAnalyzedMagic: He attempts to do this with the Stand virus, but it's ultimately subverted. Not even his successes are true Stand users and they regularly get beaten even by non-Stand users.

* ShoutOut: Noted in-universe when he fights Shinji. Since Shinji's Stand is lightning-based and the Baron artificial Stand is fire based, he compares the fight to ''VideoGame/PokemonBlackAndWhite''.

The Baron main honey, almost always by his side. She wields the Iron Maiden, a TransformingWeapon that can switch between a club and a whip.

* CarryABigStick: Her artificial Stand can take on this form for more blunt attack.

* MusclesAreMeaningless: Unlike most Stands that have an A in Power, Cruel Angel's Thesis looks like a slender female statue. That said, "statue" is the appropriate term, since despite looking like porcelain the Stand's physical form has a composition closer to concrete.

* AdaptationalSkimpiness: Her civilian outfit is designed to expose as much skin as possible without showing her privates, in order to facilitate her Lightning Mode. Seems to be a Gigan tradition, as even in the modern day most Gigans only have the most minimal of dress.

* SuperEmpowering: Just before his body was destroyed by the Lance of Longinus, it created energy waves that had the same effect as the Stand virus. Misato didn't seem to be effected (though she was sealed in a lead container at the time) and the rest of the expedition died before it could be revealed if they obtained Stands. But Shining Armor did awaken a Stand, which he used to contain Adam's explosion.
