* NextLifeAsAFictionalCharacter: Having died from overwork, [[OfficeLady Rei Ōhashi]] reincarnates as [[RomanceGame ''Revolution's'']] heroine, Rae Taylor. [[spoiler:It gets {{Subverted}} when it is revealed that Rae isn't a TrappedInAnotherWorld character, but rather created as a clone of [[BigBad Rei]] by TAIM along with Elie and Clarice. In fact Rei Ohashi is not even an office lady at all, but she's one of the three forerunners behind the Eternal Loop System with the original Claire and Lene.]]

She comports herself easily, largely owning to the fact she's exceptional at [[BeneathTheMask hiding her true emotions]], but even she has topics that will cause her to fly into a rage, even if that rage [[TranquilFury is rather sedate.]] Chief among these topics is homophobia coming from anyone who isn't Claire, who she only tolerates hearing homophobic sentiments from given Rae's overpowering love for the woman and the recognition Claire would understandably not recognize how her attitude is hurtful given the society she lives in.
** Case in point - despite having only ''just'' met Lilly, Rae immediately takes two priestesses to task for making hurtful comments about Lilly showing a preference for women behind Lilly's back, when Rae is typically content to keep her mouth shut and spy on the goings-on of others from the sidelines quietly.
** This largely stems from her prior life and the tribulations she had to go through for being a lesbian - Rae simply can't bear to see other people suffer for their preferences after what she went through.

* PartingWordsRegret: told her mother that she hated her right before the latter went on a trip she never returned from and still hates herself for it.

* LethalChef: Is a terrible chef, as Rae, May, and Aleah are very quick to point out. They keep her out of the kitchen for just this reason in the second arc. She even asks another character how to keep her rolled omelets from getting crunchy before they even start cooking, at which point the other character notes in surprise that she's not removing the pieces of eggshell from the eggs after cracking them.

* ThanatosGambit: [[spoiler:He [[SelfPoisoningGambit ingests cantarella]] after himself after trapping Rae, Claire, and Misha in a secluded barrier in the hopes his undead form could overpower the trio.]]

* GreenEyedMonster: Hates it when anyone else flirts with Yuu, or if she even thinks they are. In the anime, when someone flirts with Yu in front of her, she's shown with an {{oni}} mask, with dark flames coming out of it, and when You seems to flirt with Rae during the poker vame, Misha glares at the latter with blue flames coming out of her eyes and her hair shooting up as if she was going [[Manga/DragonBallZ super saiyan]] or someone put a powerful fan under her feet.

* GreenEyedMonster: Hates it when anyone else flirts with Yuu, or if she even thinks they are. In the anime, when someone flirts with Yuu in front of her, she's shown with an {{oni}} mask, with dark flames coming out of it.

* IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy: Rae pushes Claire and Thane together in the belief her own feelings are secondary to Claire, which [[spoiler:Manaria]] calls out as both unsustainable and an excuse borne from fears of rejection.

* TooKinkyToTorture: To Claire's chagrin, Rae is delighted by her bullying and often requests she go further. However, in the fourth volume, she says she's probably not a masochist, while fantasizing about Claire with a whip.

* ADayInTheLimelight: During the Summer Vacation arc, they get their own sideplot where they attempt to do background checks on Rae in her hometown before getting involved in the undead ghost ship invasion. While Rae and Claire are dealing with the ghost ship, they're shown to be protecting the townsfolk.

* CloningBlues: [[spoiler:Clarice admits to resenting TAIM for referring to her as Rae's byproduct.]]

* TheBully: Her role in both ''Revolution'' and ''[[YuriGenre Revolution: Lily Side]], tormenting the protagonists and doing her best to obstruct their romantic pursuits. Downplayed in the story proper, as her bullying methods are [[PokeThePoodle milquetoast at beast]] and only encourage the masochistic Rae.

* BattleCouple: She always fights alongside Yu in the latter half of the story, combining her [[MakeMeWannaShout Siren]] technique to make vibrating Icicle Blades.

* MakeMeWannaShout: Misha's "Siren" technique uses [[BlowYouAway wind magic]] to manipulate sound.

* TooKinkyToTorture: To Claire's chagrin, Rae is delighted by her bullying and often requests she go further.

* AdaptationalDyeJob: While the light novels (pictured right) depict the heroine with brown eyes, both the manga and upcoming anime adaptation change them to a soft red.
