What do you mean there was no proof? I gave some of it in the example. As for the issue of Heterosexual Life Partners Sid and Diego fit it better. A good example being in the third movie when Diego wanted to leave and Sid said he wanted to go with him instead of staying with Manny. Same with the ending of the second movie before Manny and Ellie decided to stay with them.
