* AntiStructure: The Deku Trees are an example of a melee siege unit whose purpose is to tear down enemy bases.
* TheTreesHaveFaces: Not as detailed as the Great Deku Tree, but nonetheless present, with giant noses and beady eyes clearly visible.
* WarElephants: As if the ability to tear down building with their roots wasn't enough, each Deku Tree has a handful of Slingshotters to pelt nearby units with extra damage. Just being ''in range'' of them is dangerous.
* WhenTreesAttack: Needless to say, it doesn't end well for the enemy. The Deku Trees are easily the largest and most powerful unit the Kokiri have at their disposal.
