General clarification on work content
Added DiffLines:
* AesopAmnesia: Arguable, but likely a case of realistic growth. Dracula begins the franchise with an animosity and [[HumansAreTheRealMonsters justified]] perspective that humans are a threat to him and other monsters. So, it's understandable that it'll take some time to grow out of his aversion to them. However, since he's the main character, and every plotline revolves around this in some fashion it ultimately comes across like he learns nothing between films.

* HeroesWantRedheads: Winnie has a gargantuan (and incredibly blatant) crush on Dennis. To top it off, she says she loves his "strawberry locks". [[spoiler: Then in the third movie, she kisses him on the cheek after a victory dance, and then at the end she just comes right out and says she wants to "zing" with Dennis, though Dennis says he's too young to "zing" right now.]]

Not really subverted. Sure, Abraham Van Helsing may have had a Heel Face Turn, but he's still a villain.
Changed line(s) 811 (click to see context) from:
* AdaptationalVillainy: Since Abraham Van Helsing is the most famous monster hunter in fiction and the monsters of ''Hotel Transylvania'' are [[AdaptationalHeroism much less evil]] than in their source material, it's obvious that this version of Van Helsing is more malevolent than other incarnations. However, he goes above and beyond by wanting to kill ''every'' monster, not just Dracula. [[spoiler:Subverted after Dracula saves his life despite having every reason in the world at that point to let him die, which makes him let go of this mindset.]]
