* [[WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes Why did it have to be cats]]: For some reason she is really afraid of ''cats''. It may be partly due to her accident involving Isoroku in episode 1.

* RiskingTheKing: She always volunteers for away missions, oftentime right in the middle of battle. This is heavily criticized, and drives her deputy captain nuts.
