* Superspeed: On par with even Alucard.

* VillainousBreakdown: Turns into a sobbing wreck when Alucard lands on her ship, her subordinate even tells her to get a hold of herself. To be fair, who ''wouldn't'' FreakOut while facing down [[SociopathicHero Alucard]]?
** It should be noted that most people start freaking out when they see what Alucard is capable of. Rip starts freaking out the instant she realizes that he's in the area - while he's still ''fifteen miles away''. He must have done something truly terrifying to her in the chapters of ''Hellsing - The Dawn'' that haven't been written to make that kind of impression on her. Also notable is that she's the only person who gets into a fight with Alucard that actually freaks out without fighting him. Every other villain besides her claims [[BadassBoast that they will kill Alucard.]] [[AlasPoorVillain Not her.]]

* TheOtherDarrin: She was the only character to receive a change in voice actors. Helena Taylor voiced her in OVA 4, but Taylor had to go back to England during the hiatus of the dubbing so Rachel Robinson filled in for her for OVAs 5-7.

Appearance-wise, Luke is a sophisticated [[{{Bishonen}} prettyboy]]. He is the "brains" of the operation and he believes that he can surpass Alucard. His vampiric power manifests as regeneration and [[SuperSpeed super-speed]]. While Jan doesn't seem to have any specialized power whatsoever, he's more than happy to casually slaughter ordinary humans. Covered in piercings, he is the more vulgar and depraved of the brothers.

* WomenAreWiser: Easily the most intelligent and level-headed ([[{{Tsundere}}usu]][[NarmCharm ally]]) character in the series. Granted, it helps that most of the males in this series are [[BloodKnight bat]][[PottyMouth shit]] [[LargeHam in]][[ItAmusedMe sa]][[AxCrazy ne]].

** NonActionBigBad : He lets his minions do all the work for him. Not to mention he has terrible aim.

** LittleMissBadass: [[{{FanNickname}} Girlycard]]. [[{{AmbiguousGender}} Maybe]].
*** WordOfGod (and canon) says that form is ''female''. Strangely Girlycard still has a male voice in the OVA.
**** OVA does not portray everything accurate or properly. It even goes against chosen hair and eye colors by Hirano.
