* BewareTheNiceOnes: After running away from a wounded Daruizen rather than lend him aid, Nodoka spends much of the following episode wondering whether it was the right thing to do...before deciding with Rabirin's help that yes, it was, and she isn't going to let someone like him take advantage of her own kindness.

* DelicateAndSickly: Appears to have some respiratory illness as she can only run for so long. In a flashback, she is seen in the hospital receiving treatment, and Episode 2 reveals that she had to use a wheelchair as a child. Episode 28 reveals this was because of a Byogen (judging on a flashback, this happened when she was really young too), which ended up becoming Daruizen.

* MomentOfWeakness: Played with. When a weakened Daruizen asks her for help in episode 41, she makes the decision to run. This stresses her out until Rabirin tells her it's okay to care for herself if she needs to.

* PowerLimiter: Anytime she and Rabirin has a rift in their bond due to an argument, it prevents her transforming into Cure Grace.

* ATragedyOfImpulsiveness: If Cure Grace had heeded Rabirin's advice to work with Fontaine and Sparkle as a team since the beginning, instead of fight the Megabyo-gen all by herself, then the attack wouldn't get even worse and Latte wouldn't get even sicker.

* WeHardlyKnewYe: In the first fight he's fought in, not much is elaborated onto him besides of the fact he's really strong. He's killed before much could be shown. Averted as that was just a part of him, and he revealed his true form two episodes later.

* BreakingOldTrends: They are the first faction in Pretty Cure history where none of the members reform and all of them die.

* GRatedSex: Or more correctly, G-rated Rape. Looks at his filthy stabs in episode 27 and his following up "son" that he made in episode 28...

* KnightOfCerebus: Compared to the other generals (bar Batetemoda), he's actually quite a more serious threat when it comes to the Precures. With the other two generals bickering, this one doesn't mess around, and he was also the one who kicked off the plot. Additionally, he tends to "experiment" Mega Parts on other animals ... including Nodoka herself. This has gotten him praise from King Byo-gen, much to the anger of Shindoine.
* LastWords: "Me too... my body and soul are..." as he's being purified by the Cures. However, he wasn't successfully purified and he ends up being absorbed by King Byo-gen. He's one of the two villains who never said "Healin' Goodbye" line as he was defeated.

* TheReveal: Daruizen was actually born from a sickness from a Mega-Byogen seed. Nodoka was his host and when King Byogen called for any remaining Tera Byo-gens, he escaped from Nodoka's body.

* DrivenByEnvy: King Byo-gen's preferential treatment of Daruizen for actively experimenting on Tera Byo-gens drives the insanely jealous Shindoine to take things in her own hands to impress him.

* HopelessSuitor: It's rather obvious that King Byo-gen doesn't really care for her and only cares about infecting the world. When she was the first general to force a Mega Part in them, King Byo-gen was intrigued about the discovery, but immediately demanded Guaiwaru and Daruizen to do so as well. Averted that King Byo-gen was actually curious about her and worked together with her so King Byo-gen could regain his body back.

* LastWords: "Finally, I'm going to beat them! This is my farewell to you, Pretty Cures. Agios!", said right as he's about to finish off the Pretty Cures after they're wiped out. As King Byo-gen absorbs him, Shindoine considers his final words to be stupid and even points out it's pronounced "adios", not "agios".

* KilledOffForReal: The Cures destroy her in Episode 43.

** "Healin' Goodbye!" as the Cures used the Oasis move on her. She's the only of the three original generals who said this as she was dying.

* HiddenDepths: Hinata seems to be shallow and bubbly, but she's actually worried that people find her quirkiness annoying and unreliable. It's later shown that as much as she loves her siblings, she often finds herself envious of their abilities, making her lose confidence in her own.

* PainfulTransformation: It’s very clear the infection that turned him from a regular creature to a commander was not a pleasant experience for him.
