* HarmfulToMinors: Franklin has a dedicated part of his arcade that's filled with effective and traumatizing horror arcade games (with clowns) that kids can play, they are his own way of trying to warn them about Martin and his associates. While not exactly the most moral thing to do, his goal is somewhat noble at least. Even if he leaves a quite a few kids traumatized.

* GadgeteerGenius: All of those games about {{Monster Clown}}s? He made them all by himself, which is quite impressive.

* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Mr. Stewart's interaction with Franklin reveals that he's an upbeat and eccentric man who created terrifying arcade games about clowns and dolls to scare children away from Harmony Arcadia. [[spoiler: Not because Harmony Arcadia is a rival business, but because Franklin knows what the toys are capable of...]].

* EarlyBirdCameo: His arcade made an appearance in "Are_Y0u_HappY?" which was right next to the Toymaker's shop. We finally get to meet the owner by Season 2.

* CruelToBeKind: [[spoiler: Franklin made arcade games about killer clowns, possessed dolls, and evil dragons and had children play them so they would be too traumatized to go to Harmony Arcadia. It was the only way he could think to protect them...]].

* CruelToBeKind: Frank makes very effective horror games about clowns, in order to scare his young customers away from going anywhere near Harmony Toys or anything related to evil clowns.

* CassandraTruth: He truly understands just how dangerous Harmony Toys is, yet the adults don't seem to believe him.

* AmbiguouslyRelated: The first letters of Markus and Andrew's names stand for "M&A", which is the name of the company that makes their cartoon and is implied to stand for Martin and Arthur, the founders of said company. Make of that what you will.

* AmbiguouslyRelated: An advertisement for H&H merchandise featured a storekeeper named Frank, [[ALizardNamedLiz who was a Frankenstein's monster.]] In a cryptic analog horror series, the fact that they share a name could mean a lot of things or [[RedHerring nothing at all.]]

* ObviouslyEvil: He wears a [[MonsterClown clown costume]] and is often seen with a SlasherSmile. Clowns in horror media are ''never'' the good guys.

* IWantMyMommy: Sofia calls out for her mother a couple times throughout the series. The fact that Gloria tried to protect her just makes this even sadder.

* WhamShot: The Puppeteer made its very first appearance in "Are_Y0u_HappY?" as a shadowy figure controlling Henry from a doorway. Its appearance was completely unexpected and left many a fearful viewer wondering who or what it was, and how it even came to exist.

* CreepyGood: [[spoiler: While hiding with Eddie alongside the Puppeteer, Amy Wilson shares her story with him. While the story is a bit too graphic and scary for a young boy, it doesn't seem like Amy is trying to traumatize him. Also, Eddie is not the least bit afraid of Amy in spite of the fact that she's a wooden dummy with human eyes]].

* EstablishingCharacterMoment: In "[=Wh4t=]_Went_Wr0ng", it's revealed that the Toymaker (a.k.a. Martin) struck a deal with this demon in order to transform real people into living, breathing toys. While the specifics of said deal are not known at this point, one thing is clear: Martin didn't uphold his end of the bargain, and the demon got ''really'' angry...

* EstablishingCharacterMoment: During a commercial promoting Magical Sofia, there is a scene of the doll attacking what is likely a child, proving that these new versions of Sofia are just as dangerous as the original.

* EstablishingCharacterMoment: "[=Ple4se=]_C0me_B4ck_T0_M3" reveals that the mysterious shadow appearing throughout the series is Martin's deceased wife, who has been playing the VHS tapes for Martin in the hopes that she can get through to him and save her family.

* EstablishingCharacterMoment: In Arthur's first real appearance in "Go0d_By3_ArThur", he's established as a kind of foil to Martin as someone who knows right from wrong. He's horrified by Martin's experiments on Banzo and comes to the conclusion that he needs to get Martin's wife and kids away from him until his brother "sorts himself out". This shows that Arthur was willing to give Martin a chance to redeem himself so he could be reunited with his family in the future.

* WhamShot: In "[=D0n'T=]_CrY", there's a scene of Ava where she stares at the camera in silence for about 15 seconds before she suddenly pulls off her mask to reveal the face of a baby with a bleeding head wound as a horrible piercing cry rings out.
