* AttemptedRape: She almost gets kidnapped ''and'' assaulted by a bunch of thugs at the beggining of the story, but Sanson pops up just in time to shoo them away.
* BadassAdorable: A contender for the most adorable character of the game, and like any other Chaos Teller, still capable of kicking asses.
* BewareOfTheNiceOnes: Generally a kind person towards most people, and a good queen, but push her enough or just stand on her way, and Chaos Marie will go for the kill.
* BenevolentMageRuler: A MagicalGirl ruling over France, and unlike most Chaos Tellers who are hellbent on weaking havoc on their Story Zones, Marie is a kind ruler and uses her magic to provide food everywhere.
* BlindedByTheLight: She retreats from her second fight by using a flashbomb, blinding the party for a few seconds.
* CleavageWindow: It is barely noticeable because of her necklace, and it can be easily confused as part of her clothing. Many fanarts of her have this section erroneously painted in white.
* DarkMagicalGirl: Do not let her happy face and pinky attire fool you, she is just as threatening as you would expect from a Chaos Teller.
* EnergyWeapon: One of her skill is drawing a pentagram mid-air with her wand and firing a pink laser from it.

The party concludes that Chaos Marie must be stopped, otherwise society will collapse before the Zone gets destroyed.
* PlayingTheVictimCard: Before the first fight, Chaos Marie sounds initially confused. Following her defeat, she starts [[CrocodileTears sobbing histerically]] about being suddenly "bullied" by the party, which angers the Parisians for seemingly harming their ruler for no reason, prompting the party to bail out. When Elena is spotted by Chaos Marie at the treasure vault, the latter confesses she actually tried to kill the party.
* PrincessesPreferPink: Like most examples in media, this younger version of Marie Antoinette wears a completely pink dress, full of ornaments.

* WeWillMeetAgain: After her second defeat, Chaos Marie escapes, but not before declaring that she will not lose next time. Obviously, she does.

* TookALevelInBadass: She went from being an overall useless magic book user, to one of the strongest cannon users out there.
* SupermodelStrut: To a degree. She walks as if she was some sort of model, but it is kind of difficult to appreciate with the big cannon she is holding. When being player-controlled, she just runs normally.

* BoobBasedGag: Not really apparent in her illustration, but her tits are big enough for a mouse to stand on them.
* DaddysGirl: She idolizes her father and misses him, so much that she is willing to wreak havoc on Paris to get his attention and make him come back.
* DemonicPossession: The Mouse fuses himself with her for the final battle, taking over her body and mind to fight against the party.
* TheHeavy: She is the event's main antagonist, but it is revealed near the end that she has been wreaking havoc on the orders of the Mouse, the actual Chaos Teller.
* IHaveManyNames: The game calls her Chaos Puss in Boots, in the story she is known as the Phantom Thief Cat, and her real name is Josephine.
* SuperGullible: Her obsession with seeing her dad again lead to her being manipulated by the Mouse, who told her that if she causes a ruckus in Paris, her dad will be back home.

* CrossoverExclusiveVillain: She is the villain of a crossover event starring VideoGame/BravelyDefault characters. Other than that, she has no connection with that game's universe, and her subsequent appearances make no mention of Agnès and the others.
* DualBoss: With Morrigan in the Recollection Cave of her event.

* FateWorseThanDeath: You craft various weapons with parts of their bodies. This includes ''their very souls''. Think about it for a sec.

* PaletteSwap: With the exception of the Gorillas and Alice/Snow, all of them have an alternate form which basically boils down to a different color palette with another element.
* PlotIrrelevantVillain: Their events have no story whatsoever, and very few of them actually show up in the main plot (Mega Cocco Black being the most developed in comparison to the other monsters). Their only purpose is being hunt down and use their parts and souls to craft new weapons. Sucks to be them.

* DudeWheresMyRespect: The reason they caused a commotion among the Bremen band is because nobody appreciated their job as carpenters, nor do they ever got recognition for their hard work. They caused troubles in order to vent their pent-up anger. At the end, it takes Reina giving the pigs some encouraging words for them to let her go.

* SmugSmiler: Just by looking at their faces you can tell they are up to no good.

* YouCanTalk: Reina is surprised to discover he can talk after his defeat.

* IdentityImpersonator: He's actually an entity that took the Frog Prince's appearance to test the loyalty and resolve of Heinrich. The actual one wouldn't appear until the release of ''Repage''.

* VerbalTic: Sometimes end his sentences with "geko geko geko", the Japanese croaking of a frog.

* IronMaiden: Her most powerful attack involves summoning this torture device and trap you with it. It also inflicts paralysis and poison.
