* EstablishingCharacterMoment: When he is first introduced, Billy seems to be a very mellow, mild-mannered criminal who is on the path to reform, although he sneaks a snide remark at a parole officer while sweet-talking his sponsor. When they return to the clubhouse, he initially asks Johnny where his bike is before getting angry that they sold it to cover his legal fees, telling him off while referring to him as "friend" and "brother", showing that while Billy can act nice and reasonable when he feels it'll suit his purposes, but it's all a mask, hinting at his two-faced nature.

* EqualOpportunityEvil: In contrast to the Angels of Death (who are white supremacists) the Lost MC are more welcoming letting Clay (a black man) and Jim (mixed-race) join their group. They also have the crippled Angus serving as their mechanic. That doesn't mean they don't have bigoted members themselves like Brian or Billy.

* BackstabBackfire: [[spoiler:He makes an arrangement with the Triads to kill Johnny. This results in him getting arrested by the LCPD]].

* ExactWords: "I'm not going back to prison." [[spoiler: Most players assume he was talking about refusing to be taken alive, not that he'd rat out the club to get out.]]

->" Billy'll don't see anything that he don't wanna. He'll see anything within smoking, drinking and fucking proximity, but he won't see the two-ton truck bearing down on him."

* TheSociopath: Johnny eventually realizes the hard way that his childhood friend Billy has become this at heart. He cares little for others, and constantly and needlessly put his club in danger for profit and other forms of self-destructive hedonism. [[spoiler:And when it all comes crashing down on him, he eventually decides to rat out his own club,(again, some of which were his childhood friends) to save his own skin]].

* AxCrazy: Drugs made him incredibly unstable. Years of drug abuse have ''not'' been kind to his mental health.

* ForTheEvulz: The whole reason why Johnny goes against his decisions. All of them are just destructive of the sake of Billy's amusement.

* PsychopathicManchild: Acts and sounds like an dangerously immature brat in a grown man's body, almost seeming like he wants to recapture the glory days of his wild youth.

* TheLastOfHisKind: It's unknown if he cares or even knows[[spoiler:, but after [[VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoV Trevor Philips' slaughter]] of the Lost in Blaine County, he is the last remaining member of the Alderney Chapter.]]

* TheMillstone: She seems to have a habit of having connections to the wrong people.

* ReallyGetsAround: She's been with Johnny, Billy Grey, and Ray Boccino. [[spoiler:And with Trevor Philips in ''V'', to her eternal detriment.]]
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Her addiction forces Johnny to kidnap Roman Bellic for Dmitri Rascalov, which in turn intensifies the war between Niko and the Russian Mob.

* ScreamingWarrior: Despite that, however, when he's actually heard saying something, he's always yelling. Also, sometimes when he's in the back of a Van riding from the cops, he's just heard screaming at the other members to shoot without doing anything himself, despite his weapons being fully loaded.

* ThoseTwoGuys: He never does anything without with Terry.

* KilledOffForReal: [[ForegoneConclusion Not that it came as a surprise,]] but he dies extremely early in the campaign riding off after the mission ''Angels in America'' to go meet his girlfriend.

* TooDumbToLive: Knows he's dating a Russian Mobster's daughter and that it infuriates him.

* BackstabBackfire: [[spoiler:He makes an arrangement with the Triads to kill Johnny. This results in him getting arrested by the LCPD]].

* TooDumbToLive: As soon as he finds out the Johnny ended the war, Billy ''starts'' the war again, resulting in both himself and the rest of the lost getting in alot of trouble. He then betrays the Lost for his own cause, only to get killed due to his betrayal. Also, just as he was going back from rehab, he starts taking drugs again!

* AFatherToHisMen: All of the Lost feel this way about him. [[spoiler: They're wrong to do so.]]

* FalseFriend: The epitome of this. It's even revealed in [[VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoIVTheBalladOfGayTony The Ballad of Gay Tony]] that [[spoiler: Billy had actually arranged for the Triads to kill Johnny in the failed drug deal]].

* TheBadGuyWins: [[spoiler:While he is killed by Johnny, the damage he caused was so irreversible to everyone in his gang that nothing was ever the same again. He caused both directly and indirectly all the problems that led the Lost MC to its eventual defeat, and this domino effect is still seen five years later. To add insult to injury, a conversation between two bikers that can be overheard by Trevor in the mission "Friends Reunited" implies that Billy's posthumous reputation is fully intact among the Lost, while Johnny's name is mud.]]

* TheChick: She was this to the Lost at one point before her drug habit got the better of her.

* AngryBlackMan: He shares the same [[DemocracyIsBad anti-government]] tendencies as his buddies in the Lost.

* PoliticallyIncorrectVillain: He calls a Triad as "yellow little devil" to his face and says that he loved watching his people (the Chinese) die on TV. Also when [[spoiler:selling out Johnny to the Triads in ''The Ballad of Gay Tony'', he tells them he got no use for a Jew bastard like him]].

* TheBadGuyWins: [[spoiler:While he is killed by Johnny, the damage he caused was so irreversible to everyone in his gang that nothing was ever the same again. He caused both directly and indirectly all the problems that led the Lost MC to its eventual defeat, and this domino effect is still seen five years later...]]

* PoliticallyIncorrectVillain: As if being a resentful prick towards Johnny wasn't enough, Brian also chides him for his Jewish heritage (such as during "Buyer's Market" when he says "I guess you Semites are are good at sniffing out a deal" when complaining that Billy made Johnny responsible for the deal and not Brian). He also mentions that he can't tell Slavs apart when he calls Niko a "Polack" (which itself is an offensive term for Polish people) when he is actually Serbian.

* BadassMustache: A particularly thick one.

* KilledOffscreen: Possible depending on player actions. [[spoiler:In ''VideoGame/GrandTheftAutoV'' the player can kill Ashley after the cutscene in which Trevor murders Johnny. If you do then dialogue between Trevor and Wade will acknowledge this during the ride over to the Lost compound. However, regardless of the player's decision, the news will later reveal that Ashley died after participating in a heroin orgy in a Paleto Bay condo, along with four local males in their 50s and 80s. According to the article, police broke down the doors to the apartment after neighbors complained about an unpleasant smell and found five naked corpses.]]

* SacrificialLamb: His death early on in TLaD's campaign is used as motivation by Billy Grey for the Lost MC to strike back at the Angels of Death (even though the latter had nothing to do with Jason's death) which in turn causes the problems the Lost face throughout the ''IV'' era. [[spoiler: And as of the ''V'' era, Jason's death in hindsight triggered a domino effect for almost the entire Alderney chapter of the Lost MC getting killed off.]]

* AbhorrentAdmirer: Johnny now considers her one, given that she wants to get back together with him, particularly because of the below infidelity. [[spoiler: Subverted in the next game however when he became involved with her again and addicted to meth in the process.]]
