Added DiffLines:

* DifficultButAwesome: Her Halo Attunement buff provides a smorgasbord of ''very'' potent buffs to both herself and allies, and gets even better from the second cast onward. However, getting the most out of these buffs requires a delicate balancing act to keep Cosmos close to 50% HP, and she's somewhat buff-hungry if she wants to get her recasts in as often as possible. Fulfill these conditions, and Cosmos will absolutely ''demolish'' whatever she looks at, casting her skills constantly and unleashing doubled charge attacks with frightening speed while being surprisingly difficult to kill despite operating at half the health of her compatriots.

Added DiffLines:

* FullHealthBonus: ''Half'' health, actually. As a playable character, the closer she is to 50% health, the more powerful the buffs she confers through Halo Attunement.

* TheDitz: In her holiday variant's episode, she casually reveals that the strange structure the crew is sent to investigate is actually an ice castle she made in just a few days. She merely assumed it was another person's creation until they were up close and hadn't thought a castle of such size would bother anyone, to which Vyrn retorts that castles don't pop up like that. That, and she [[DidntThinkThisThrough didn't think of practical issues like asking the nearby town for permission to build or that the Captain can't keep one as someone constantly on the move]].

* AnIcePerson: Her power over water also lets her turn it to ice as shown with her holiday variant. Her mastery is such that she could create huge and intricate structures like bridges, clothing that won't feel wet or cold, and a gargantuan castle that could be seen for leagues from afar.

-->'''Rarity''': SSR\\
'''Element''': Earth\\
'''Style''': Defense, Special (Summer)\\
'''Weapon Specialty''': Sabre+Katana\\
'''Charge Attack''': Mirror-Blade Helix

Defender of the God-realm and servant of the Primarch Uriel. Originally debuted in ''VideoGame/RageOfBahamut''.
----
* ActionFashionista: Despite her serious [[TheStoic stoic]] vibe, Alexiel is fashion-conscious enough to even rummage a lot of shops just to find a swimwear she really likes.
* {{BFS}}: Like her raid boss version, that weapon she wields is a large sword, even though it has a long lance-like handle.
* CastHerd: She is usually grouped with the other disciples, also known as Primal Beasts who trained under the tetra-element Primarchs and will inherit their power. The event "Prayers" gives them a chance to actually interact and work with each other.
* TheComicallySerious: Boy, is she ever. Even in a swimsuit, she still comes off as kinda stiff.
* ContraltoOfStrength: Yes, that is still Creator/AyaHirano voicing her.
* CoolShades: Wears red-tinted heart-shaped sunglasses in her summer version.
* DefeatMeansFriendship: She became Uriel's apprentice after she learned about Primarchs, only to then promptly try to beat Uriel's ass. She got dunked but he was impressed with her and so took her under his wing.
* DishingOutDirt: Her powers are primarily Earth-based.
* DubNameChange: From Brodia to Alexiel; one of the many carry-overs from ''VideoGame/RageOfBahamut''.
* FishOutOfWater: A notable example even by the standards of her fellow Primals. Her first Christmas greeting has her turning her sword on Gran/Djeeta... when he/she was just challenging Alexiel to a '''snowball fight'''.
-->"What? You understand what Master Uriel meant when he said what he did?
-->Singularity. You must tell me the meaning of this."
* GlassWeapon: A lot of her abilities are themed after mirrors or glass. There are even glass shards floating near her, which Alexiel uses in combat. Her Summer version's unlock weapon is a ''literal drinking glass.''
* GoodIsNotSoft: Perhaps one of the epitomes of it in this game. At the end of her second Fate Episode, Alexiel prepares to bring her sword down upon some arms dealers that attempted to kill the Captain. If not for the Captain stopping her, she would have ''put an end to them right then and there.''
* IncorruptiblePurePureness: Her listed dislikes are "immorality in all its forms."
* LineOfSightName: One that is given to her in ''Grand Blues!'' Comic #1027. When Lyria mentions "Egg Rice" when thinking about food, Rosine [[AccidentalMisnaming misnames]] Alexiel as "Aleggxiel".
* TheMagnificent: Unlike her fellow Disciples/Genesis Series summons, Alexiel has a title preceding her name in her summon stone and raid boss battle - '''Godsworn''' Alexiel.
* MundaneUtility: In her summer version's intro fate, when seeing and being intrigued by a sand castle, she uses her ability to manipulate earth to make a sturdier sand castle with the crew.
* PowerCreep: Her initial release overshadowed Sara's SSR version as a premier tank prior to the latter's fifth uncap. And then her Summer version outstrips her regular Grand version in defensive prowess.
* PromotedToPlayable: After about a year of being available as a summon, she was made a recruitable character for the Flash Gala of April 2018.
* TheStoic: Uriel describes Alexiel as "[[{{Understatement}} a little stiff]]" in her Fate Episode. She proves him right not even two lines later, with the above quote.
-->'''Vyrn''': Pfft! Ahahaha!
-->'''Lyria''': Vyrn?
-->'''Alexiel''': Red dragon. Why do you laugh?
-->'''Vyrn''': Sorry! Just that he really wasn't kidding about you being all stiff!
* StrengthEqualsWorthiness: She fights the protagonist in "Fortress Sonata" to see if they are worthy of Uriel's attention and is pleased when they pass the test.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: In a similar vein that the Primarch Michael is this to Gabriel, she is the stoic and stiff tomboy to Europa's gentle and demure girly girl.
* WorkHardPlayHard: Uriel sees that she is working hard all the time, so he suggests Alexiel to play hard on the beach too. Cue her Summer version!

'''Charge Attack''': Minerva Thrust, Minerva Finis (5★ Upgrade)

The Primal Beast of the Aegis, and the patron knight of peace. She embarks on a journey in pursuit of Medusa, hoping to stop her from wrecking chaos and turning skydwellers into stone. As with other characters, she originally debuted in ''VideoGame/RageOfBahamut''.
----
* BadassAdorable: Athena is a very beautiful woman who is also a very powerful warrior. And as shown in WhenSheSmiles, some of her smiles are outright adorable.
* BlessedWithSuck: She's actually incapable of stopping from fighting once she starts and is actually suffering because of it. Fortunately, Lyria absorbs some of her power to make her stop.
* BoobsAndButtPose: In her initial artwork.
* BroughtDownToBadass: The Athena the players met only has ''half'' of her power, as the other half was used to create a palladium to protect the town she guarded. When Enyo destroyed the palladium, her power didn't return to her, instead imbuing itself into the survivors of the town and passing it down to their descendants. After sensing her desire to protect the people, her full power returns to her.
* TheCameo: In the background of Satyr's Summer-themed summon, one could see swimsuit-clad versions of Athena and Medusa.
* CastHerd: She becomes a member of the Primal Pals group after "Primal Resonance".
* ContrivedCoincidence: In her 5* Fate Episode, the crew stumbles across an old town that she once protected while stopping for supplies. Athena slowly remembers the town after seeing the statue that was erected in her image.
* TheDeterminator: Has been following Medusa for 79 years, according to the latter, since their first encounter. However, see BlessedWithSuck above.
* FashionableAsymmetry: She wears a thigh strap, but only on her right leg.
* HorribleJudgeOfCharacter: While the players aren't made to know the full extent of their dynamic before Enyo betrayed Athena, it's made clear that something is off about Enyo when she begins asking if the palladium Athena created affects enemies that "managed to slip inside". Athena still trusts Enyo after this.
* IfYouKillHimYouWillBeJustLikeHim: She spares Enyo out of pity and the feeling that she could have been like her due to their similar natures as primals. This comes back to bite her in the ass later when Enyo revives herself using one of her clones' cores, forcing Athena and the crew to babysit her so she doesn't go on another one of her rampages.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: [[spoiler:It turns out she's mainly desperate to connect with someone who understands Athena's plight of long life but has ''awful'' communication skills about this kind of stuff.]] Luckily for her, she finds friends in the Primal Pals and becomes a permanent member of their group.
* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: Just like in the myths, she is associated with the Aegis. In ''Granblue'' this translates into having her equipped with the large shield, as well as gameplay that focuses on defense.
* MartialPacifist: She dislikes violence and will always attempt to talk it out first. If that fails, however, she'll incinerate anyone unfortunate enough to cross her.
* NoSocialSkills: [[spoiler:She's so focused on combat and military prowess that she finds it very difficult to initially make small talk about other subjects.]]
* OldShame: InUniverse example. Her failure to protect the town she once guarded from Enyo's betrayal still weighs heavily on her to this day.
* PaletteSwap: Her 5* uncap outfit is a pale lavender recolor of her original outfit. This is a call back to her original ''Rage of Bahamut'' outfit, which was in fact the lavender-colored outfit while the red version she wears by default in ''Granblue Fantasy '' was the palette swap.
* PlayingWithFire: She is a Primal with power over Fire.
* PromotedToPlayable: Athena started as a raid boss and a summon, she later became playable on December 31, 2018.
* SexyBacklessOutfit: Her armor doesn't cover her back.
* SixthRanger: While she's established to have become a member of the Primal Pals group, she doesn't always show up with the core members (Satyr, Medusa, Baal, and Nezha) and they will at times be off doing their own things without her.
* WhenSheSmiles: Got one in the Love Live! collab, and it's [[http://game-a1.granbluefantasy.jp/assets_en/img/sp/quest/scene/character/body/3040202000_a_laugh2.png gorgeous.]] She's almost unrecognizable as she smiles in her Summer summon art.
* WorshippedForGreatDeeds: She was worshipped as a goddess and mentor by the people of the town she guarded and had a statue erected by them in her honor. Long after Enyo's betrayal, the survivors of the attack still worship her.

A Primal Beast once sealed in Pandemonium. After his escape, he was disoriented at how much the world has changed and eventually joins the hero after they try to calm Azazel down when he caused a ruckus in the streets. He originates from ''VideoGame/RageOfBahamut'' and debuted in ''Granblue'' on October 17, 2017, nearly two weeks after the last episode of ''Virgin Soul'' aired.
----
* AdaptationSpeciesChange: He is a demon in ''Rage of Bahamut''. Here, he is one of the Primal Beasts sealed in [[TheAlcatraz Pandemonium]] labeled as a FallenAngel, similarly to Olivia. This might be slightly subverted, as Azazel from ''Rage Of Bahamut'' is also called a FallenAngel, though the fallen angels in ''Granblue Fantasy'' aren't exactly as one would think they'd be due to how this universe works.
* AmnesiacHero:
** Calling him a hero would be a stretch, but his fate episode shows that he has little to no memories prior to his sealing and only remembers the war that he took part in along with other Primal Beasts that were sealed in Pandemonium.
** [[spoiler:His skill fate episode reveals the hero part as he remembers he was tricked into rebelling/falling and not only is still loyal to Lucifer, he's hell bent on revenge towards the person who tricked him. What Makes The Sky Blue 000 reveals that the one who deceived him was none other than Belial.]]
* AndIMustScream: [[spoiler: He was left to rot in Pandemonium for 2000 years as a punishment for his participation in the rebellion]].
* AnimalMotifs: Snakes as taken from ''Rage of Bahamut''. He even summons them in his Charge Attack.
* BaitAndSwitch: Introduced and set-up to be a collaborative import from the ''Rage of Bahamut'' Anime adaptation ... that is until his skill fate revealed that he was only acting like the same character because of memory loss. His true affiliation is with the Primarch's from the "What Makes The Sky Blue" trilogy, and he's a direct follower of Lucifer, the Supreme Primarch, [[MythologyGag mirroring his loyalty to Lucifer]] from ''Rage of Bahamut''.
* BattleAura: If the player selects him when preparing a skill, Azazel will be surrounded with a black mist.
* ButtMonkey: Look... it's ''Az''. Anyone familiar with ''Rage of Bahamut: Genesis'' will tell you that he's by ''far'' the least effectual of the demons/fallen angels, and isn't even ''aware'' of this. Needless to say, this bears out constantly in his Fate Episode and other content he features in. His "weak state" or "critical health" animation is even his memetic face plant from the ''[=RoB=]'' anime.
* CastingAShadow: He is introduced as a Fallen Angel with power over Dark, though he gets another unit in [[PlayingWithFire fire]].
* DarkIsNotEvil: He's a fallen angel with dark attire, black horns, and pitch-black wings, but he's also a loyal follower of Lucifer, the games BigGood. At worst, he can be a bit of a {{Jerkass}} though he's mostly harmless and cares more about reuniting with his brethren.
* EarlyBirdCameo: He appears briefly in Nina Drango's Fate Episodes, which were released a month before his debut.
* {{Expy}}: His character originates from ''Rage of Bahamut'', though he is heavily based on his ''Anime/RageOfBahamutGenesis'' Anime counterpart, [[spoiler: at least until his skill fates reveal that he's ''actually'' a primarch that is connected to the overarching "What Makes The Sky Blue" storyline]].
* FallenAngel: He's a primal beast, but labeled as a fallen angel specifically. [[spoiler:Like Olivia, he is a fallen Primarch. ]]
* TheFaceless: His upper body was covered in shadows for his aforementioned cameo in Nina's Fate Episodes.
* FashionableAsymmetry: From head to toe, Azazel's appearance has a lot of asymmetrical stuff, such as his horns, sleeves, bandage, and belt.
* FishOutOfWater: Due to his long imprisonment, he's unfamiliar with a lot of the basics of the Sky World.
* GameplayAndStoryIntegration: In a silly way. He dresses up as a Devil for Halloween and is given a fire alt. What are devils primarily associated with? [[CaptainObvious Fire]].
* HorribleJudgeOfCharacter: He was somehow tricked by Belial into believing that rebelling against the Astrals was for Lucifer's sake.
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: Like Olivia, despite being introduced to tie into the "What Makes The Sky Blue" storyline, he doesn't actually have much of a role in it, making only a small cameo and not becoming directly involved in any of the recent stories despite apparently being part of the crew along with Sandalphon ''and'' Olivia. [[spoiler: He's unaware of the fact that Lucifer is dead and has had his role inherited by Sandalphon, and that Pandemonium has been destroyed, [[UncertainDoom likely taking all of his imprisoned brethern with it]]. His Halloween unit alludes to him continuing his search for his brethren.]]
* MeaningfulName: His Charge Attack "Scapegoat" draws inspiration from the association of the term Azazel (and this trope applies to his namesake as well) with the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azazel scapegoat rites]] in Literature/TheBible. In another sense, he was also a literal scapegoat for the rebellion, being sealed away with his brethern for his participation despite believing he was doing the right thing up until the end.
* MythologyGag:
** In his Fate Episode, Azazel suspects a FantasticRacism happening between a human employer and a Draph worker, easily mistaking the latter to be a demon just because he had horns. This is a reference to the general backstory in ''Rage of Bahamut'' where there is a racial conflict between gods, man and demons. He beats up the human as a result, thinking that demon slavery is in effect, which actually happens in the ''Virgin Soul'' anime.
** His right arm is covered in bandages, just as he becomes fully covered in these while taking the "Rag Demon" persona in the ''[[Anime/RageOfBahamutGenesis Rage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul]]'' anime.
** Of all things, why would his "critical health animation" depict him in a prone (face plant) position? In the ''Rage of Bahamut: Genesis'' anime, there was an [[RunningGag incident of him getting run over by Bacchus' carriage]] which sends Azazel lying with his [[https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/shingeki-no-bahamut-genesis/images/0/0e/Azazel_ran_over_by_Bacchu%27s_carriage.png/revision/latest?cb=20160403160837&format=original face on the ground]].
** His SignatureMove in the two anime series of ''Rage of Bahamut'' involves spreading out his wings and using his [[CombatTentacles snakes like whips]] that lash and pierce the enemy in front of him. This becomes the exact animation used for his Charge Attack, Scapegoat.
** His loyalty to Lucifer seems like a trait that's been carried over from his original character in ''Anime/RageOfBahamutGenesis''[[note]]And technically the origin game as well, though it's never quite touched upon due to Azazel never playing a huge role in the events Lucifer appears in.[[/note]], though ''Granblue Fantasy'' has yet to go into depth on the extent of their relationship.
** His Halloween SSR's charge attack is called "Grigori's Inferno". Grigori was one of the servants of Lucifer in both the original ''Rage of Bahamut'' game and the anime storyline.
* NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished: [[spoiler: As revealed in ''What Makes The Sky Blue: 000'', he took part in the rebellion for what he believed was for Lucifer's sake, [[UnwittingPawn only to realize too late that Belial manipulated him and the others into participating in a meaningless battle]]. As a punishment for his participation, he was sealed away in Pandemonium. To add more insult to injury, his fate episode heavily implies that it was ''Lucifer'' who sealed him away, [[{{Irony}} the same man that he was fighting for]]]].
* ReligiousAndMythologicalThemeNaming: Like his ''Rage of Bahamut'' counterpart, he's named after the fallen Angel ([[DependingOnTheWriter or demon]]) from the Bible.
* ShipTease: With the protagonist in his Valentine's Day and White Day seasonal lines, though being Az, he's {{Tsundere}} about it. As with most seasonal lines, it's debatable just how canon any of it is since it's not referenced anywhere else.
* SealedGoodInACan: While he can be a bit of a petty asshole, he's ultimately one of the few non-villainous fallen angels that ended up sealed in Pandemonium.
* SnakesAreSinister: He uses them in his Charge Attack animations as a flurry of [[CombatTentacles lashes]] towards the enemy.
* UndyingLoyalty: Similarly to his ''Anime/RageOfBahamutGenesis'' counterpart of whom he is heavily based on, he's a loyal follower of [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Characters/GranblueFantasyPrimalBeasts Lucifer]].
* UnwittingPawn: [[spoiler: He was manipulated by Belial into participating in the primals rebellion against the Astrals, [[UndyingLoyalty believing that it was for Lucifer's sake]]. By the time he realized what Belial had tricked him and his brethren into doing, it was already too late and he paid the price by being sealed into Pandemonium where he would rot for two millenia]].
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Despite being a fallen angel, he's never around during any of the Primarch relevant storylines and is heavily implied to be in the dark about everything going on.

'''Charge Attack''': Triple Damnation, Trinity Disaster (5★ Upgrade)

A Primal Beast who joins up with the crew after she was accidentally summoned by the Captain. Her character originates from ''VideoGame/RageOfBahamut''.
----
* AdaptationalSpeciesChange: Like many of the other ''VideoGame/RageOfBahamut'' characters, her species was changed to fit the setting.
* ArtEvolution: The "Hellhound Trifecta" summon just contains a lot of improvement over her initial artwork, from the shading, coloring, details, up to the expressions and angles.
* CastingAShadow: She has power over the Dark element.
* ConnectedAllAlong: Her 5* fate episode retroactively connects her to the angel storyline, as she was a watchdog in Pandemonium under the command of the archangel Kokabiel. She has direct interactions with Sandalphon, and they confirm that they know each other through this though they'd never interacted directly until her Fate Episode.
* CleavageWindow: Depending on the angle, but she has this, especially with her "Hellhound Trifecta" summon.
* ContinuityDrift: Originally, Cerberus was a mysterious humanoid creature that was accidentally summoned into the Sky Realm by a mage who wanted to test out his transportation magic. Her 5* uncap fate episodes expands on her character more by explaining that she was a Primal created by the Astrals to act as the watchdog of Pandemonium, tasked with keeping the fallen angels in check. Her master is the archangel Kokabiel who abused her status as the warden of Pandemonium to perform cruel experiments in the name of research, which lead to herself and Cerberus being sealed away in Pandemonium. The accidental summoning circle incident gets brought back, as it's explained as being the reason Cerberus was able to escape her bondage in Pandemonium.
* TheDreaded: She has a fearsome reputation as the watchdog of Pandemonium. Even ''Sandalphon'' is afraid of her.
* FluffyTheTerrible: Her other "heads" are named Coco and Mimi. They're also the weapon that come with recruiting her where their description notes both being terrible and fluffy.
* GenkiGirl: Initially, she's very happy to meet her new 'master' and serve you while you and the others figure out who was originally trying to summon her and for what purpose.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: She was implemented before Primals were fully defined as a species and it shows through her playable versions fate episodes. Her 5* fate episodes rectify this by completely rewriting her into being the watchdog of Pandemonium, though the summon circle incident gets referenced.
* LiteralSplitPersonality: The Cerberus who was travelling with the crew is only one of the three Cerberus' that exists, as Cerberus is split into three separate beings; instinct, reason, and power. While Instinct is the only one in the crew at the start, the other two join the crew in Cerberus' 5* fate episode.
* LivingToy: Coco and Mimi look more like a child's puppet toys than weapons.
* TheMagnificent: Her updated gacha summon gives Cerberus the title of "Hellhound Trifecta".
* MsFanservice: Like the original game she's based from, Cerberus is a very skimpy Primal Beast girl.
* MythologyGag: Cerberus being the watchdog of Pandemonium may be a reference to her ''Rage of Bahamut'' lore in which she is the gatekeeper of Asphodelus, the underworld layer of Hades in that universe.
** Both her base sprite and her 5* uncap art are references back to [[https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rob_cerberus_9_4.jpg these]] [[https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rob_cerberus_3_1.jpg two]] cards from ''Rage of Bahamut''.
* PromotedToPlayable: Originally was a summon you could buy in the shop for her conquest event.
* RecurringElement: Similarly to Bahamut, Lucifer, Jeanne, and Olivia, she is an import from ''Rage of Bahamut'' that stands out from other ''Rage of Bahamut'' imports because she's a recurring character that has appeared in nearly every Cygames property after her debut in her origin game.
* RememberTheNewGuy: While Cerberus being the watchdog of Pandemonium is mostly well-integrated in her story because the vagueness in her original fate episodes, it doesn't actually line up with what we're shown about Pandemonium, as the players have traversed the various levels of Pandemonium in co-op and Cerberus' other selves are neither seen nor mentioned by anyone. As well, despite being visibly shaken by her in Cerberus' 5* fate episodes, Sandalphon escaped Pandemonium without fear of potentially being hunted by Cerberus' other selves in his own Grand fate episodes.
* RocketPunch: Her charge attack has her firing her other "heads" in this manner.
* RuleOfThree: True to her namesake of a three-headed dog, all of her skills work in threes, often referencing threes in name at the same time.
** Absorption hits three times and heals Cerberus for up to 1333 HP. At lv. 100, the heal increases to 3333 and affects the whole party (as in 3 additional characters).
** Disillusion hits three times.
** Triad Deception inflicts three debuffs on the enemy. At lv. 95, the skill does 3 hits of dark damage, increases debuff success and increases the potency of the skill.
** Her charge attack is named Triple Damnation. Her 5★ charge attack is named Trinity Disaster, which retains the triple attack rate buff but also splits her normal attack into 3 random hits, and reduces the CD of her skills by 3 turns.
** Her maximum base HP is 1333, and her maximum base ATK is 7333
** At lv.90, she gains the Threefold support skill, which grants her the Triple Strike buff after every 3 skills pressed.
** Lastly, her triple attack rate is increased by her support skill; Infernal Heaven. At 5★, Infernal Heaven lowers the debuff resistance of the enemy with her triple attacks.
* {{Stripperiffic}}: She's barely wearing anything as both a summon and a playable character.

A huge mechanical automaton built in secret by the Draph of Valtz after they were enslaved by the Astrals during the War. While it was never finished in time, Archduke Tzaka completes and awakens it. For tropes regarding its raid and anime versions, see the Characters/GranblueFantasyPrimalBeasts page.
----
* AttackAttackAttack: He is capable of spamming his charge attack multiple times in a row. He also gradually increases more attack power as time goes at the cost of his base defense.
* AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever: Colossus is apparently 18.0m (59 feet tall) and he takes up a good portion of your screen when used in battle.
* BreakingOldTrends: He was the first non-humanoid primal to be made playable.
* MechanicallyUnusualFighter: Colossus' Charge Bar caps at 200% like many Katana-specialty samurai characters. The catch is that he can only use his charge attack if the charge bar reaches 200%. To compensate for this, Colossus' Charge Attack damage multiplier is very high, with the value soft capping at 3,350,000.
* MythologyGag: Lyria and Io are resting on Colossus' shoulders as seen in his uncapped art. This is a reference to what happened in the BeachEpisode of the anime wherein Lyria, Io and Djeeta ride on Colossus' shoulders while crossing the ocean.
* NoSell: Despite having a unique stack that decreases his defense over time, Colossus also has a skill that gives him a whopping 1000% defense boost which could block pretty much any attack that isn't plain damage or a dispel.
* PlayingWithFire: Has numerous fire attacks.
* PromotedToPlayable: Over year after playable Tiamat's release, Colossus finally made his appearance as a playable unit in September 16th's flash gala.
* ShouldersOfDoom: It is equipped with huge spiky pauldrons.
* TheSpeechless: Like the other playable omega summons, he doesn't have a voice, though he communicates through beeps and machinery sounds rather than mystical chimes like Tiamat or Yggdrasil. He did manage to sing Happy Birthday to You through those sounds alone, though.
* SuicideAttack: His third skill, Standby Mode, causes him to use Resolute Reactor at the end of the turn, dealing massive damage and some potent buffs to allies, at the cost of all his remaining health.
* WingdingEyes: He sports a "^_^" expression in his uncapped art as Lyria and Io sit on his shoulders.

* BaitAndSwitch: [[spoiler: The original Cosmos waking up at the end of Chapter 2 of "Truth of Arbitration" and mentioning the role Lucifer promised to fulfill, which lead readers to believe that Lucifer would be revived in the following chapters, perhaps as a ghost or a sort of temporary ally, to participate in the last act of the story. Come the very next chapter, Cosmos acknowledges that Lucifer isn't around to fulfill their promise and creates Yuni in his image using her two dragons, who she then sends to the protagonists in her stead]].

* EmotionlessGirl: At first. [[spoiler: This began to change with the time she spent watching over the sky realm with Lucifer, which had begun to affect her ability to arbitrate objectively, just as the Astrals who had created her feared.]]
* FinalBoss: [[spoiler:Of the 8th Anniversary Event "Created by the Stars, Beloved by the Skies".]]
* ICannotSelfTerminate: [[spoiler: Says this almost word for word, as she cannot continue to exist so long as the protagonist does, but she cannot kill herself, thusly needing the protagonists to defeat her.]]
* LonelyTogether: [[spoiler: Lucifer and Cosmos share a common bond of loneliness, as their roles as guardians of the Sky Realm have them isolated from others. Cosmos lampshades this when it is time for her to rejoin with her original body.]]
* MirrorCharacter: To Lucifer, which is likely why their business partnership became a friendship. [[spoiler: Both are incredibly strong but lonely primals who spent centuries in isolation because they were bound to their duties. Both watched over and were concerned about the primals living in proximity to the sky dwellers but found ways to help the primals and sky dwellers coexist. They also have a fondness for their creations (or in Cosmos' case, their surrogates) and ask them to take their places in the sky realm once they can no longer carry on]].
* MyNameIsQuestionMarks: Both her name and voice actor are shown to be "???" in the event previews.
* MysteriousProtector: Her job is to keep the world in balance, intervening in conflicts that the sky realm could not resolve themselves. With Lucifer's guidance, she acted as a mediator between the sky dwellers and the primal beasts when trouble between them began to arise, and in turn allowed for primals to become integrated into the sky realm.
* PromotedToPlayable: Originally a central figure in the 8th anniversary event, she ended up becoming a playable Grand character a year and 3 months later during Flash Gala.
* ThePromise: [[spoiler: She makes Lucifer promise her that when the time to judge the singularity comes, he will stop her. He reluctantly agrees, but is unable to fulfil his promise to her [[CharacterDeath due to having been killed by Beelzebub some time ago]], leaving her to judge the protagonist herself.]]
* ReallySevenHundredYearsOld: She was made around 2000 years ago, making her about as old as the archangels. Despite this, she looks like a young woman. [[spoiler: Her surrogates, such as Zooey and Geo, appear to be even younger than that, looking like teenagers.]]
* {{Revision}}: The reveal that she (along with some guidance from Lucifer) is the reason that the primals and skydwellers are able to coexist in the Sky Realm in relative peace after the war, as she acted as a mediator between the two races when tension between them began to bubble up. It's not technically a retcon because the players weren't given a detailed explanation for how this came to be previously, however, there were no mentions of a primal beast that acted as a mediator when discussions about the war and it's aftermath came up before "Created by the Stars, Loved by the Skies" was released. Satyr even lampshades this by saying she didn't know a primal beast like that existed.
* TheReveal: With Lucifer's guidance, she was the reason that the primal beasts were able to become integrated into the sky realm alongside sky dwellers, as well as become worshipped as divine beings, and were able to form pacts with certain islands after the War. When trouble arose between sky dwellers and primal beasts, she would appear before them and offer them advice on how to handle the situation, acting as a mediator between the two races.
** She is also the reason Xeno forms exist within the game's universe, as she granted the Showdown Primal beasts "evolution", making them strong enough to continue battling the sky dwellers in the endless fight they had begun to enjoy.
* RememberTheNewGuy: In two ways:
** [[spoiler: Her existence as the original arbitrator and Zooey being an off-shoot of her is only ever explained in this event, as it was never suggested to be the case in any of Zooey's prior fate episodes. The best the players got as a hint at her existence previously was the "Cosmos" weapon series (Even then, those are only weapon names and don't necessarily point to her as a character. Even the weapon descriptions point to Zooey) and Zooey and Geo mentioning Cosmos by name in "Primal Resonance", which is semi-recent in the Zooey related event timeline.]]
** [[spoiler: Her debut event reveals that she was business partners in watching over the sky realm with Lucifer for a period of several hundred years, with that partnership eventually becoming a friendship once Cosmos begins to develop the ability to feel. Her role in helping him govern evolution is never addressed in the previously released ''What Makes The Sky Blue trilogy''. As well, it was never suggested that Lucifer had any close friendships outside of the primarchs, with Sandalphon specifically being treated as his most important person during and beyond his death]].
* ShoulderSizedDragon: She has two small white dragons accompanying her. She uses these dragons to create Yuni.
* TrulySingleParent: [[spoiler: As Zooey, Geo, and her other surrogates are off shoots born from herself, she is in-universe considered to be their parent. To reinforce this, Geo says he and Zooey can be thought of as siblings.]]
* UncertainDoom: [[spoiler: The player is left in the dark as to whether she truly died after sending Yuni back to the Sky Realm or if she's still in the precipice between life and death. According to Yuni's homescreen line, even she's not sure what happened to Cosmos. Her fate episode when she became playable showed that Yuni's lingering connection with Cosmos, her wish to see what she has seen during her travels and Noa's memory of traveling between the Sky Realm and the Astral Realm was what allowed her to come back to life]].
* WeHardlyKnewYe: [[spoiler: She fades from existence at the end of "Created by the Stars, Loved by the Skies", which is the event she was introduced in. While the players did get a bit of time to get to know her in part 2 of the event, it was still an abrupt exit for a new character. As well, they ensured that there wouldn't be a way to save her, as she cannot exist in the sky realm so long as the protagonist does. Zooey saying that she can no longer feel her link to Cosmos all but fully confirms that [[KilledOffForReal she's gone for good]].]]
* WalkingSpoiler: [[spoiler: A lot about her spoils her role in the anniversary event she appeared in. Her being playable a year later reinforces the fact that a lot of it spoils the event.]]
* WhatIsThisFeeling: [[spoiler: A flashback reveals that the more time she spent watching over the sky realm, the more difficult her ability to arbitrate objectively became due to her developing emotions.]]
* WhenItAllBegan: "Created by the Stars, Loved by the Skies" reveals that she and Lucifer worked together to help the primals become integrated into the sky realm as god-like figures, divine protectors of the islands, and pact makers. Lucifer offered her guidance which she used to act as a mediator between the primals and the sky dwellers. We get to see some of her work as she guides Tiamat, Sylph, the Showdown Primals, and Luminiera and the sky dwellers they're at odds with through their conflict.
* YouDontLookLikeYou: [[spoiler:Lyria and Vyrm comment on how she doesn't look like the Cosmos that they fought, shrunk even. Noa states that, even though the connection was compatible enough to bring her back, it wasn't a method that was intended for that use, therefore Cosmos' altered appearance. Neither one of the two got any of that at all.]]

She's basically a female version of ''Lobelia.''[[note]]In fact, she might be even ''worse'' than he is, because Lobelia joining the crew at least means [[spoiler:he stops his crazy murderous ways]], whereas Enyo has no such thing holding her back.[[/note]]
* BackFromTheDead: Or back from a state where she may as well have been dead, as she was sealed away in core form with no access to her physical body... until she revived herself using one of her clones' cores.
* BlowYouAway: She has power over Wind, [[ElementalRockPaperScissors the element Athena is strong against]].
* BroughtDownToBadass: While Enyo still possesses her abilities as a Primal Beast, because she is using a clone as a body for her core, she only possesses at least half her power. It's still more than enough power to make Athena and the crew uneasy around her.
* TheCameo: Enyo appears in "Created by the Stars, Loved by the Skies" as one of the primals [[spoiler: that helped Nezha defeat Azi Dahaka at the climax of the Astral War.]]
* CloneArmy: The Astrals hoped to copy her abilities but could only reach a fraction of her power with the clones and destroyed all but one of the labs. Enyo then uses one of the clones to revive herself after the party and Athena were overwhelmed by the multitude of Enyo clones, and decimates them all.
* CuteAndPsycho: She looks beautiful and graceful, but is actually a completely murderous and insane psychopath.
* EvilCounterpart: To Athena.
* EvilFormerFriend: She used to be Athena's partner as they worked together to protect a town until she betrayed Athena, destroying the palladium that stored half of Athena's power and killing nearly everyone they were charged with protecting.
* EvilIsPetty: One of her reasons for joining the crew is because she wants to cut down the crew one by one to cause Athena despair.
* ExpendableClone: All of the clones the Athena and company fight and destroy. Only one is left for the original Enyo to revive herself with.
* FoeRomanceSubtext: Her Summer variant features some '''very''' saucy [[https://gbf.wiki/Enyo_(Summer)#2nd_Art art]] of her and Athena, looking like Enyo's leaning in for a kiss.
* {{Foil}}: Naturally to her former partner-turned-nemesis Athena, right down to their similarities in moveset.
** In real Greek mythology, both Athena and Enyo are goddesses of war, but while Athena is tied to the civil and intellectual side of war and its heroism and glory, Enyo is instead representative of war's rampant bloodshed and the destruction of civilizations. Fittingly, Athena is a chivalrous and heroic LadyOfWar who seeks to protect people, while Enyo is an AxCrazy and bloodthirsty {{Sadist}} who revels in carnage and despair.
** Design-wise, Both are beautiful long-haired blondes, but Athena wears her hair in a braid and is dressed in rather light armor, while Enyo keeps her hair loose and is clad in a BattleBallgown. In combat, Athena fights with a shield and spear while accompanied by a single owl, whereas Enyo employs a massive lance in battle while commanding an army of wolf familiars.
** During their days as partners and before Enyo revealed her true colors to her, Athena would be in charge of defending the settlement they protected while Enyo laid waste to the enemies outside its walls.
** In gameplay, both have highly similar kits. Their second skills are multi-hit attacks that reduce their enemies' defense and debuffs them. Their passives grant stacks upon being targeted, which increase the number of hits their second skill deals, and with enough stacks allows it to auto-activate at the end of turns they are targeted in. Their third skills are debuffing skills that use their respective animal companion to reduce their enemies' attack power. However, in contrast to Athena's other more defensive and supportive skills, Enyo's are more offensive and selfish. For starters, Athena's first skill offers damage reduction, healing, and Dispel Cancel to the whole team, whereas Enyo grants only herself an array of powerful attacking buffs and LifeDrain. Their other passives are also different, as Athena grants her allies buffs to their damage, unlike Enyo who can play off her allies' debuffs and buff removals to deal massive damage herself. Finally, Athena's Charge Attack grants her allies offensive and defensive buffs while debuffing her target for her teammates to follow up, while Enyo's auto-activates her first skill to keep up her own assault.
* HoistByHerOwnPetard: In Athena's 5* Fate Episode, her physical form is destroyed when the full force of her Ruthless Tyrant attack is reflected back at her through Athena's shield.
* MookMaker: She can summon an infinite amount of Kydoimos to do her bidding.
* OhCrap: Her reaction when she realizes that Athena's Aigis Palladium reflected the full force of her Ruthless Tyrant attack back at her, destroying her physical body and forcing her to retreat back into core form.
* {{Sadist}}: To the point where Enyo will happily bide her time just to strike when it will cause the greatest amount of despair and anguish possible.
* SuicidalOverconfidence: One of her reasons for joining the crew is so she can cut down the crewmates to spite Athena. Clearly she hasn't factored in the amount of Primals in the crew that outrank her in power (Sandalphon, the Four Primarchs, Zooey, Yuni, and Cosmos, just to name a few...), the trained characters of other races who are traveling companions of the protagonist (such as Narmaya, Siegfried, and Cagliostro), ''and'' the fact that the former [[PhysicalGod Speakers of The Omnipotent]] have joined the crew's ranks. There's also the potential prospect of Gran/Djeeta having recruited the Eternals (the strongest adventurers in the skies), the Evokers (special mention going to Nier, a ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend incarnate and the pactholder of a primal beast associated with ''death''), and the ''Six Dragons'' themselves (the elemental wedges of the world). If she wants to cut everyone down, [[{{Understatement}} it won't be an easy task]].
* TheOnlyOneAllowedToDefeatYou: As Enyo herself puts it, her new "comrades" are still her prey, but they're ''her'' prey and she won't allow any harm to befall them, at least until she gets her power back and can do them in herself in the most agonizing way possible.
* TokenEvilTeammate:
** She only joined because Athena and the crew need to watch over Enyo and curb her lust for violence. Enyo also joined because it gives her the perfect opportunity to enjoy the day she gets to cut down everyone in the crew one by one and see the despair and failure it will cause for Athena.
** Her cameo in the 8th anniversary event notes that [[spoiler:she only joined the rebelling Primals against Azi Dahaka because she wanted to be able to inflict pain and destruction her own way without being mind controlled into doing it.]]

Known as the Lovely Maiden of Fair Mercury and the servant of the Primarch Gabriel, Europa made her playable debut during the Flash Gala of November 2018. Like most of the Primal characters listed here, Europa originates from ''VideoGame/RageOfBahamut''.
----
* AdaptationalRelationshipOverhaul: The original mythical Europa is one of Zeus's concubines, contrasting Granblue Fantasy Europa who is instead Granblue Fantasy Zeus's ''daughter'', as revealed in her 5* Uncap fate episodes.
* AdaptationalSpeciesChange: In her origin game ''VideoGame/RageOfBahamut'', Europa's alignment was Man (The games equivalent of "Human") making her the only disciple to be deified upon being imported into ''Granblue Fantasy''.
* ArtEvolution: Her Summer units uncap art looks like a painting you would find in a museum.
* BadassAdorable: Europa is a very cute and beautiful woman who boasts incredibly powerful water magic.
* BadassCape: Although it functions like a gown, the blue cloth is wrapped on her back like a cape.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Europa is very gentle and polite, but she doesn't hesitate to unleash her strength when fighting her in her raid, and is straight up ruthless against her enemies.
* BirdsOfAFeather: Europa and the water primarch, Gabriel. Compared to the other disciple and primarch pairs introduced, they seem to get along the most likely because of this.
* CastHerd: She is usually grouped with the other disciples, also known as Primal Beasts who trained under the tetra-element Primarchs and will inherit their power. It wasn't until the event, ''Prayers'' that she and her fellow disciples finally interact.
* ChekhovsLecture: Vyrn and Lyria just can't find the perfect analogy to describe to Europa how boys are "picking up girls", since she interprets it as a LiteralMetaphor anyway. When they do explain that the act is a way to convince the girl to join you, Europa did understand it in her analogy of giving flowers to a beloved. [[spoiler:The captain resorted to giving Europa some flowers to make her stay with the crew when Gabriel initially planned to take Europa back with her.]]
* CombatMedic: Europa is classified as a Heal unit, but she also has exceptionally powerful offensive capabilities, with her healing skill doubling as a powerful multihit attack, and she also greatly boosts the party's offense with Aldebaran's Afterglow, a 50% (20% before her fifth uncap) boost to triple attack rate after her charge attack.
* CompositeCharacter: While she's obviously and primarily based on Europa from ''Myth/ClassicalMythology'', her summon descriptions backstory takes the being deified for her beauty aspect from the story Ganymede, who was the only one of Zeus' consorts to be made immortal for this exact reason.
* CrypticBackgroundReference: She references the supreme primarch [[spoiler: presumably Lucifer since Sandalphon would have no way of knowing her at the time]] in her Year 1 Happy Holidays line, saying that he and Gabriel told her that there is so much charm to be found in the world. The players never see this interaction onscreen though it does confirm that she's interacted with him before.
* DissonantSerenity: She keeps her polite and gentle manner of speaking even as she threatens to crush your hope and make you drown in despair in her raid battle.
* DeityOfHumanOrigin: If her summon description is any indication, she was once a human that was deified by the gods so that her beauty could exist eternally.
* DudeMagnet: As a result of her InformedAttractiveness, men would easily fall in LoveAtFirstSight the moment they get near Europa.
* EarlyBirdCameo: Briefly appears in "Kappa Summer Chronicle" in her summer outfit alongside Gabriel before becoming a premium gala summer character on July 31st 2019.
* FishOutOfWater: A source of conflict in her Fate Episodes is that she has very little understanding of how the mortal world works. Thankfully, she has the crew to guide her as she attempts to integrate herself.
* FlowerMotifs: Blue roses can be found surrounding Europa in her character artworks. None her summer artwork, she's depicted holding lilies which symbolize "purity".
* InformedAttractiveness: More than most characters, the game makes a note of how beautiful she is, with the following tidbits:
** Her summon description suggests that she was once a human that was so beautiful that the gods decided to make her immortal so that her beauty could exist eternally.
** The Quest and Trophy titles related to Europa's boss fight refering to her as "The Celestial Beauty".
** Lyria and the MC being stunned by how beautiful she is during her fate episode.
** Humorously, she competes with [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Characters/GranblueFantasyOther Lucio]] for how much her appearance is shilled to the audience.
** In "Kappa Summer Chronicle", The sight of Europa and Gabriel in swimsuits caused a passerby skirt-chasing guy to utter this line:
--->S-such beauty! Beauty beyond what any mortal could possess! Absolute beauty... lies before my very eyes! How could I even think to speak to such divinity... What a grievous sin I've committed!
** The "Prayers" event has Gabriel, when she first meets Europa, being struck by her beauty, "like a work of art."
* KissOfLife: In her fifth uncap, [[spoiler:Europa kisses Gran/Djeeta on the lips to thaw out their frozen soul, which brings them back to life.]]
* LadyOfWar: Is very feminine but isn't against engaging in battle or testing the strength of the protagonist.
* LiteralMetaphor: Thinks that a boy "picking up girls" (in other words, flirting) means literally the boy having to lift the girl up in the air.
* MakingASplash: she has power over the Water element and can create large bodies of water from nothing, as she demonstrates in her Grand Fate Episodes.
* MeaningfulName: Her InformedAttractiveness and a couple of her other motifs could be traced back to her Greek mythology namesake. In Greek mythology, Europa was a beautiful woman who garnered the attention of Zeus. In an effort to seduce and kidnap her, Zeus turned himself into a white bull and abducted her by running with her into the ocean. Europa's charge attack, Taurus Blight, is based off of the constellation Zeus recreated in her honor: Taurus.
* MundaneUtility: Used twice in her Summer episode:
** {{Subverted}} when she suggests cleaning the beach from litter with her powers. But before she tries it, Vyrn explains that they could just pick up the trash on the way.
** Since the beach house is so crowded, she used her powers to move the waters apart and make room for the protagonists to rest on.
* {{Nerf}}: Her summer version, while not necessarily gamebreaking from the off-set, was subjected to this as it removed her team wide buff and made her significantly less useful than before.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero:
** In her summer episode, parting the waters just made some sea monsters come ashore and attack the tourists. Europa [[TheEeyore took this incident too emotionally]] even after it was resolved.
** Her fifth uncap episode also reveals she did something to this extent. [[spoiler:In an attempt to save the people from the plague ravaging Tyros Island, Europa's powers went out of control and accidentally ''froze every living thing to death.'' The sheer trauma caused her to lose her memory of the event, and Zeus sentenced her to isolate herself as atonement for her sin. The moment she regains her memory, [[MyGodWhatHaveIDone she's so consumed with guilt]] that she ''willingly'' embraces death by freezing if it means she'll finally get to atone for what she's done, before the crew intervenes.]]
* PinkMeansFeminine: Europa is the most innocent among the female Primals, and her summer attire is mostly pink.
* PowerFloats: She floats above ground in battle.
* PromotedToPlayable: After being introduced as an obtainable summon, she finally becomes playable in October 2018.
* ProngsOfPoseidon: After her fifth uncap, she now wields the Galilei's Insight alongside her magic, representing [[spoiler:the embodiment of her released emotions and the carried hope of the people of Tyros]], though she mainly uses it in her charge attack.
* RelatedDifferentlyInTheAdaptation: This Europa is Zeus's daughter instead of one of his consorts.
* SexyBacklessOutfit: As seen on her uncap art, her robe doesn't actually cover much of her back.
* ShipTease:
** With the main character in her summer fate episode. At the end to convince Europa to remain with the crew instead of leaving with Gabriel, the main character gives her the flowers she's seen holding and asks her out on a date be it either to have tea together or to go on a walk. Her summer description even says that the protagonist has deep affection for her. She's also very affectionate toward them in her seasonals.
** Her fifth uncap drops the tease and goes straight to the ship, [[spoiler:where Europa ends up having to kiss Gran/Djeeta on the lips to save their soul from permanently freezing over. Afterwards, Zeus declares the captain as Europa's ''new spouse'' as part of their commitment to protect her, much to the primal's overwhelming joy, Vyrn and Lyria's utter shock, and Gabriel's amusement.]]
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: In a similar vein that the Primarch Gabriel is this to Michael, she is the girly girl to Alexiel's tomboy.
* UndyingLoyalty: To her mentor Gabriel, even moreso than the other disciples.
* WorldsMostBeautifulWoman: She is a Primal Beast so beautiful that it was a beauty that caused her to be deified by the gods.

A primal beast that originally appeared as a gacha summon and a Unite and Fight boss, he plays a small role in "Primal Resonance" as a goon of sorts to Geo, standing out as the only one that's [[NotBrainwashed not under any sort of mind control]] and acting of his own volition.
----
* ADayInTheLimelight: Both "Primal Resonance" and "Created by the Stars, Loved by the Skies" serve as focus events for him, though the latter does so more than the former.
* AscendedExtra: From a Gacha Summon to a Unite and Fight Boss to beat up, "Primal Resonance" establishes that he was ''not'' happy with this situation.
* BlowYouAway: He has power over the Wind-element.
* CallBack: His playable units third skill "Alfheimr" is one to his summon call of the same name, as it grants a variety of the same buffs to allies. Similarly to his summon call, it can only be used once per battle.
* CastHerd: Notably averted. Satyr offered to let him join the Primal Pals so that he could join them in their journey to find a way to reawaken sleeping primals. Freyr turns her down and chooses to go off with Geo instead, as he doesn't want to leave him alone and feels their ideals still align with each others.
* FantasticRacism: Not to the degree of Geo as he seems more conflicted on the matter, but he does hold a grudge against skydwellers due to the suffering they've caused primals over the years. He also blamed the skydwellers for changing his best friend Baldr and pitting them both against each other during the war and to this day, still feels that the skydwellers had taken his friend away. This is why he goes along with Geo's plan without needing to be brainwashed into doing so.
* FriendlyEnemy: He still aligns himself with Geo at the end of "Created by the Stars, Loved by the Skies" but is fairly affable toward the protagonist in their interactions beyond this, such as in his seasonal lines. For example, his first White Day seasonal has him assist the protagonist in collecting fruits for White Day so they can make it home before the sun sets, as he knows that wild beasts come out at night and would put them in harms way. However like most seasonal lines, it's debatable how canon this is.
* GameplayAndStorySegregation: He declines Satyr's offer to join the Primal Pals and leaves with Geo at the end of "Created by the Stars, Loved by the Skies". He was still given a playable unit at the time of the event despite still technically [[TokenEvilTeammate being a bad guy]] and not officially joining the crew, ala Sturm and Drang or Orchid. Even his fate episodes don't offer an explanation for this as they serve as a backstory for how he met and began working with Geo before the events of "Primal Resonance".
* InLoveWithYourCarnage: His relationship with Baldr is based on this. He loved the Baldr who would slaughter skydwellers without mercy and doesn't take it well when Baldr ends up befriending them and is willing to fight Fryer to defend them.
* InterfaceSpoiler: His playable unit was released a few days prior to "Created by the Stars, Loved by the Skies" going live, which implied that he would get focus in that event.
* ItOnlyWorksOnce: The third skill of his playable unit "Alfheimr" which gives alliea the same potent buffs as his summon call. Like his summons call, it can only be used once per battle [[JustifiedTrope likely because he would be too overpowered if it could be used multiple times]].
* LongHairedPrettyBoy: Vyrn even comments on his beautiful hair.
* MartialPacifist: Makes it clear that he doesn't like to fight, but does so when left with no choice.
* TheNicknamer: Downplayed, though his fate episode reveals that he was the one who named Geo "Geo" based on his "Grand Order" initials.
* NotBrainwashed: Of the primal beasts that chose to work and fight with Geo, he seems to be the only one that chose to do so out of his own volition, much to the surprise of the protagonists.
* PowerFloats: He hovers above the ground in battle.
* PromotedToPlayable: He eventually made his way to the gacha pool during the February 28, 2022 Premium Gala update as a playable character.
* TokenEvilTeammate: While he's not ''evil'', being more of a WellIntentionedExtremist, he is still aligned with Geo as of ''Created by the Stars, Loved by the Skies'' and leaves with him at the end of the event after refusing Satyr's offer to join the Primal Pals. Despite this, he is a playable character that can be placed on your teams and used in battle, [[GameplayAndStorySegregation with there being no story-related explanation as to why this can be done]].
* UncertainDoom: After he's defeated, his core gets absorbed into Geo. As the event ended on a SequelHook it's unknown if he's still alive or if he's been fully assimilated into Geo's being. He gets better in "Created by the Stars, Loved by the Skies", as Lyria unintentionally summons him, releasing him from Geo's core. He's not particularly happy about it.
* UndyingLoyalty: To Geo due to whole-heartedly believing in his cause. In "Created by the Stars, Loved by the Skies" after Geo loses his role he becomes his traveling companion, passing up the Satyr's offer to help him find a way to revive Baldr because he doesn't want Geo to be lonely.
* UnexplainedRecovery: He receives a Yukata summon version in 2020, which has a description that completely glosses over his situation in "Primal Resonance".
--> A breathtaking primal beast finds himself partaking in skydweller customs, adopting a summer style that's popular with the locals. Smiling in the sapphire moonlight, with a cool breeze caressing his body, he's the model of beauty no mortal can hope to achieve.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: Believes Geo can bring peace to the world and the primals which is why he chooses to work with him.

'''Charge Attack''': Tidal Erasure

The primarch of Water. Overflowing with kindness and compassion, she often acts as a mediator. Every now and then she will assume the form of a mortal and live among them to satisfy her interest in people-watching.
----
* AnIcePerson: Nearly all of her attacks are ice-themed.
* AngelUnaware: After learning of Sandalphon's attack against her fellow primarchs, she hid herself among the mortals, pretending to be a nurse who tended to Eugen's wounds. She did so so well that Lyria, who should be able to sense primarchs, didn't realize she was one.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: She may be the nicest and kindest among the Primarchs, but she's every bit as deadly and powerful as them. Gameplay-wise, many players starting out consider her to be the most difficult of the Primarchs to face.
* BirdsOfAFeather: With her disciple Europa, which is likely why they get along better than the other disciple and primarch pairs introduced.
* EarlyBirdCameo: She appeared very briefly in the "Kappa Chronicle" summer event alongside to set up for a future storyline. The set-up was for Summer Europa's fate episodes in which she played a big role.
* ElementalEmbodiment: She is one of the embodiments of the element of water, a trait which would later be shared by Wamdus of the Six Dragons.
* TheGadfly: She's quite fond of teasing others just to see their reactions, with how she teases Michael in the first WMTSB, and Cagliostro in 000.
* GameplayAndStoryIntegration: Fitting their close relationship, Gabriel and her disciple Europa have ''insane'' synergy in battle. Gabriel's Glacies Ward greatly boosts DEF and triple attack rate, which forms an excellent combination with Europa's Star Sanctuary to ensure its uptime, and also combines with her Aldebaran's Afterglow+ buff to grant 100% triple attacks to the party. Additionally, Europa's emphasis on triple attacks feeds into gathering up Gabriel's Pagos stacks to let her cast Marturion more consistently, and the former can also use her 4th skill to further ramp up the latter's already potent attack power.
* GodInHumanForm: Will sometimes disguise herself as a human in order to go people-watching.
* HairWings: AvertedTrope, as she's notably one of the only primarchs without these. Instead, her hair appears to be a mass of pink feathers.
* HardDrinkingPartyGirl: She ''loves'' the liquor that mortals make and brags that she can finish several bottles all by herself, much to Michael's concern.
* HospitalHottie: When in her human disguise in WMTSB, she takes up a job as a nurse and takes care of Eugen.
* InformedAttractiveness: In "Kappa Summer Chronicle", The sight of Europa and Gabriel in swimsuits caused a passerby skirt-chasing guy to utter this line:
-->S-such beauty! Beauty beyond what any mortal could possess! Absolute beauty... lies before my very eyes! How could I even think to speak to such divinity... What a grievous sin I've committed!
* MagicStaff: The Wand of Gabriel contains her power, and is one of the Seraphic Weapons which the player can forge.
* MsFanservice: Gabriel is a stunningly beautiful woman, with an outfit that showcases her shapely legs quite nicely, and her beauty has been noted to draw attention from other men.
* NiceGirl: She's easily ''the'' nicest among the Primarchs, often speaking to the captain in a very gentle and motherly tone.
* NoMacguffinNoWinner: [[spoiler:When Sandalphon comes for her wings in "What Makes the Sky Blue", she destroys her wings so that Sandalphon can't take them, giving the Captain and the others a chance to defeat him. Once the other Primarchs' wings are restored to their rightful owners, they heal her wings back to normal.]]
* TheMentor: She's this to Europa, though they appear to have a closer relationship than the other primarchs to do their respective disciples.
* OutOfFocus: Along with the other tetra-element Primarchs, her role become lesser and lesser as the "What Makes The Sky Blue" storyline progresses, to the point where she doesn't show up in "The Maydays" or "Tower of Babyl", which are both direct continuations of the story. [[SpotlightStealingSquad Sandalphon]] even makes up an excuse for why she and the other primarchs can't be of any help to them in "Tower of Babyl".
* PerpetualSmiler: Her default expression is a gentle and kind smile.
* PromotedToPlayable: She joined the Grand series lineup of characters during the November 17, 2023 Flash Gala update.
* {{Putto}}: Her playable art and summon art features a group of cute little cherubs accompanying Gabriel holding up her sash, adding to her very kind and motherly disposition.
* RoseHairedSweetie: She has light pink hair, and is by far the friendliest of the tetra-element Primarchs.
* StatusEffects: This is her role in the Four Primarchs raid, by inflicting some very nasty debuffs and ailments, as well as repeatedly removing buffs from the players.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: She is clearly the more feminine Primarch between her and Michael.
* WaterIsWomanly: She's the most feminine of the tetra-element Primarchs and is the Primarch of water.

* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Though he generally acts like a dork most of the time, childishly whispering to himself about how awesome he was when he says something or {{squee}}ing over something that caught his attention, he is fully capable of unleashing incredibly powerful tempests against monsters as demonstrated in his Fate Episode.
* DecompositeCharacter: Gameplay-wise, his two versions take different traits from his mechanics as a raid boss and summon.
** His original version retains Holy Ray of Purification as a devastating special attack and the gimmick of swapping between AOE and single target attacks via the Tempest of Annihilation buff.
** His Valentine version has the emphasis on multi-attacking with his permanent triple attack and multi-attack debuffs. He can deploy the field effect that grants all elements use of critical attacks regardless of enemy element. This version has permanent AOE attacks.
** Both of them grant Shield buffs like the summon but in different ways, his original uses it in his first skill as one of many defensive buffs, while it's part of his Valentine version's Charge Attack.
** As it turns out, he's also this lorewise in-game. [[spoiler:His 5* Uncap story mentions that he's one half of the Primal Odin, and the one he originally worked for.]]
* EndearinglyDorky: Grimnir is a powerful primal warrior, and also a completely and utterly dorky {{Chuunibyou}}.
* HeCleansUpNicely: Not that he wasn't already easy on the eyes, but it's particularly emphasized in his Valentine version's Fate Episodes that grooming his hair and donning a well-tailored suit makes him ''even'' better looking.
* LargeHam: As expected of his character, with two different kinds depending on his mood. If he's calm, he's a lot more dramatic and slow-paced as he does his meticulously scripted one-liners. When he can't control his nervousness/excitement, he ramps up his speed and is SuddenlyShouting at a higher pitch.
* MotorMouth: When he gets ''really'' flustered, he starts rambling at very fast speeds in hopes of moving the conversation away from whatever embarrassing subject related to him. [[GameplayAndStoryIntegration In game, he also has a chance to slip up in his quotes]].
* PowerCreep: His Valentine's Day unit does this to his (Grand) version. While his (Grand) version isn't rendered useless by its existence, the Valentine's day unit does what his (Grand) version does but better.
* PromotedToPlayable: Originally a summon, he became officially playable on April 15, 2019.
* ShipTease: His Valentine fate is absolutely dripping with this between him and the Captain.
* SuspiciouslySpecificDenial: Grimnir isn't interested in chocolates for Valentine's Day, is occupied with other things to do and he ''definitely'' isn't thinking of giving some to the Captain. (Okay he was lying, but he still managed to put up a decent front in his Fate Episodes, whereas his skills ''immediately'' have him reverse his position.)

Sibling messenger primarchs that contain great knowledge about the world, but were made absent minded to keep them from utilizing said knowledge in a meaningful capacity. They are counted among with very first primals.
----
* AllPartOfTheShow: [[spoiler:Their wings accidentally popped out during the three-legged race contest in the beach, but the announcer just thinks these are fake and goes on like nothing's unusual.]]
* AlmightyJanitor: After the events of the WMTSB trilogy, Halluel and Malluel [[spoiler:now settle down as a delivery service for the mortals despite retaining their Primal Beast abilities.]]
* AmbiguouslyGay: Unclear with Malluel, but Halluel takes an interest in Lyria and actively hits on her. She's chastised by Malluel for this. The ambiguity on Halluel's part drops with "The Maydays". According to their profile, Halluel likes [[LipstickLesbian pretty girls]] while Malluel likes brave men.
* AuraVision: Halluel can sense auras, which allows her to identify [[spoiler:Beelzebub as a partial Primal Beast, and for Cagliostro to devise a specific plan to trap him.]]
* BeamSpam: Their summon call and charge attack animation is this in a way that's very reminiscent of a cross between Lucifer's "Paradise Lost" and Sandalphon's "Ain Soph Aur" animations.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: They're extremely friendly and very quirky for Primarchs that hold vast knowledge. Turns out they were programmed to be this way by the Astrals.
* ColorMotif: Red (for Halluel) and blue (for Malluel). It's incorporated into various aspects of their characters such as the red and blue feathers shown in their summon and charge attack animations. They also wield red and blue daggers.
* ContinuityNod: Their summer episode references details from the "Poacher's Day", with that event's [[ADayInTheLimelight lead character]] Carren and some urkins being rewarded in games.
* CuteLittleFangs: Both of them sport fangs.
* ADayInTheLimeLight: Outside of the "What Makes The Sky Blue" trilogy, they get some spotlight alongside starring character Sandalphon in "The Maydays" summer event.
* TheDitz: Both were made to lack a certain level of intellect as it made it easier for the Astrals to control them. Both can then be easily distracted by information they have as a result.
* TheDividual: The Twindividual. They act like this and hate being apart, it even being stated in their profile that they hate doing things alone.
* DoubleEntendre: These twin angels do know how to cover-up some ''lewd'' thoughts, as shown in "The Maydays" event:
** Halluel expresses her [[LipstickLesbian secret infatuation with Lyria]] by teasing her in a seductive tone. One of her innuendos goes "Or maybe I should say, it takes a little grit for an oyster to produce a pearl?"
** After Ellen and Martin were done kissing on the beach, Malluel says "Thanks for the show! It was really educational."
* DoppelgangerGetsSameSentiment: AvertedTrope. [[spoiler: Lucio]] looks just like their former boss but they don't treat him any differently than they do the other characters they are shown interacting with. In fact, they also aren't ever shown acknowledging the resemblance between them.
* DualWielding: Their unlock weapon twin daggers called "Sharp Letter", which they are never seen without.
* DubNameChange: In Japanese, their names are [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harut_and_Marut Harut and Marut]], two angels from Islam. In English, their names were changed to Halluel and Malluel, which are throughly fictional.
* FailedASpotCheck: They don't seem to notice that [[spoiler: Lucio]] looks exactly like Lucifer, their former boss, and end up treating him like he's just some guy in "The Maydays".
* FeatherMotif: Like all the Primarchs, they are heavily associated with feathers.
* FishOutOfWater: Downplayed. As they have experience interacting with mortals due to their duties, they seem to blend in with them far more easily than the other primals are shown to.
* FlyingPostman: [[spoiler:They are now working as the "Archangel Parcel Service" postwomen after retiring from their previous roles, but still use their wings to fly and quickly deliver the goods.]]
* GameplayAndStorySegregation: They are Light element Primarchs, but were released as a dual Dark Grand unit due to their previous Light element Summer unit. Their animations work around this by making their skill animations, attacks, and Charge Attack look Light-based.
* GratuitousLatin: Their skill names "Eterno", "Perpetuo", and "Geminis".
* HairContrastDuo: Inverted as Malluel, the dark haired twin, has the brighter more bubbly worldview while Halluel, the blonde one, has a gruffer, more tomboyish personality. They're both equally friendly, however.
* HairWings: They each have one wing growing out of the opposite side of their heads.
* HistoricalGenderflip: They're based off of the male angels that were vaguely described as messengers from the Quran, though portrayed as twin female angels here. Downplayed, however, in that outside of being derived from those two figures, they're not actually supposed to ''be'' them.
* HumanDisguise: DownplayedTrope as they already look like humans in the first place, but to blend in with humans more they simply put their wings away.
* IKnowYoureInThereSomewhereFight: [[spoiler:Sensing the aura of Azrael and Israfel from a deformed FallenAngel, Halluel and Malluel constantly call out on their former friends. It somehow worked on their second encounter, with Israfel being able to communicate with them with telepathy while convincing Azrael to calm down. However, they decide to [[DrivenToSuicide take their own lives with the chaos weapon]] to spare their friends from the pain of fighting. This act sends Malluel on the verge of tears.]]
* InseriesNickname: They're referred to as "Hal&Mal" by other characters and in gameplay.
* KeeperOfForbiddenKnowledge: The archangels of instruction were programmed to know many of the worlds secrets, but similarly to Sariel, though presumably not as severely, they were programmed with a level of disinterest and limited intelligence to keep them from sharing too much information.
* LeftHandedMirror: They wield their daggers in opposite hands.
* LightEmUp: Similarly to Lucifer, they are Light-element Primarchs.
* LipstickLesbian: Halluel is infatuated with Lyria and tries to flirt with her for several occassions. When Lyria compliments Halluel's swimsuit in "The Maydays" event, she pressures Lyria to describe more of her body and attire. At first, Halluel also drips ice into Lyria to tease and bully her, until Halluel gets seductively speaking and letting out the [[DoubleEntendre innuendos]]. According to her profile, she likes pretty girls.
* LovelyAngels: Kind of literally, since they're two primarchs that work together.
* MomentKiller: The two angels (along with Sariel and Lyria) eavesdrop and watch Ellen and Martin kissing on the beach. When the psychologically-impaired Sariel asks what the two were doing, Halluel explains out loud the act of kissing. Because of her, the romantic moment between the couple is interrupted.
* MusicalAssassin: The Harp of the Teachers contains their power, and is one of the Seraphic Weapons the player can forge. Downplayed in that they don't actually wield said harp in battle, and are instead dagger users.
* MsFanservice: In their standard outfits, they wear the female Primarch leotard uniform that hug their bodies and they are shown to be very clingy and affectionate with each other, evoking a sort of GirlOnGirlIsHot reaction from the audience despite them being described as twins.
* NavelDeepNeckline: Malluel's summer outfit leaves her chest open at the center.
* TheNicknamer: They call each other Hal and Mal (Ha-chan and Ma-chan in the original language) and refer to Sandalphon as Sandy (San-chan).
* NecessaryDrawback: They're privy to the secrets of the world but are programmed to be disinterested in their vast knowledge. The Astrals likely programmed them to be this way so that they wouldn't disclose too much information.
* NoSenseOfPersonalSpace: When she gets excited during a conversation with someone, Malluel tends to get ''really close'' to that person.
** She does this ''behind'' Rackam in a chapter of "What Makes the Sky Blue: Paradise Lost", which Halluel quickly interrupts.
** Malluel does it yet again to a ''sleeping Gran/Djeeta'' in the prologue of the Light Seraphic weapon quest.
* PowerGivesYouWings: Inverted. Like the other Primarchs, their power comes from their wings.
* PromotedToPlayable: Over a year after being introduced in "What Makes The Sky Blue: Paradise Lost" and becoming summons in February 2018 Grand Fest, they became a playable dual summer limited unit in June 2019 Grand Fest.
* PunctuatedPounding: A furious Halluel gives this to [[spoiler:Beelzebub, with the chaos blades he created.]]
--> We! Do not! Exist to be used!
* RainbowMotif: Their skill animation for Geminis has this motif. Their summon call and charge attack animations also incorporate this motif.
* ReligiousAndMythologicalThemeNaming: A running theme of the primarchs. Their Japanese names Harut and Marut are the names of twin angels from the Islam.
* RememberTheNewGuy: The first example of this in the "What Makes The Sky Blue" storyline. They were never mentioned in the first event, as Sandalphon was explicitly stated to be the fifth Primarch which seemed to suggest that there weren't any notable humanoid Primarchs beyond him and Lucifer still walking around. They still show up in "Paradise Lost" without explanation, however.
* RedOniBlueOni: Downplayed as Malluel can be just as boisterous as Halluel despite otherwise being her opposite. That said, She's usually the one that makes sure Halluel stays out of trouble and they're represented by the colors red and blue which are incorporated into various aspects of their designs. Halluel is associated with red, and Malluel with blue. Even their daggers match this color contrast.
* ReligiousAndMythologicalThemeNaming: In the original language, they're named after the two angels Harut and Marut from the Quran.
* TheRestShallPass: Hal and Mal volunteered to fight the abomination ([[spoiler:Because they sense that Azrael and Israfel are inside that thing]]) so as not to delay the Grandcypher's route to Pandemonium.
* RetiredBadass: By The Maydays like the other angels they've retired the roles they were created for and have begun to live their lives as individuals. Ironically, the job they've chosen to take on in place of their former role is similar to the job they were created for; delivering messages and guidance to the people of the Sky Realm though this time it's through their [[AlmightyJanitor mail service]].
* {{Revenge}}: Halluel doesn't take [[spoiler:the corruption of Azrael and Israfel lightly, as she wanted to see Beelzebub killed. Unfortunately, all that they can do was to trap him. That is... until he escapes in Chaos Returns: Dawn which eventually leads to the Tower of Babyl event.]]
* RuleOfSeven: Running theme of the What Makes The Sky Blue saga associated characters. Their skills Perpetuo and Gemini's have a 7 turn cool down. The exception is Eterno, which starts at 8 turns before becoming 7 turns after being leveled up.
* SiblingTeam: They're twin angels who work together in battle and are rarely ever seen apart.
* SpotlightStealingSquad: They're the second biggest offenders in the "What Makes The Sky Blue" trilogy after [[BreakoutVillain Sandalphon]]. Not only do their story appearances begin to overtake the tetra-element Primarchs after their debut in "Paradise Lost", they're also currently the ''only'' playable Primarchs after Sandalphon and have been since their release in mid-2019.
* SuperPrototype: Though weaker than the Supreme Primarch and the tetra-element Primarchs, they're still very powerful primal beasts and are counted among the very first primals to ever be created.
* ThinksLikeARomanceNovel: "The Maydays" event shows Malluel to be one. While the others are busy doing their own thing, Malluel is more intrigued on Ellen and Martin explaining their past romantic lives to her. She interrupts the couple when they suddenly bicker out of nowhere. After the couple kissed on the beach, Malluel is the first one to squeal out of excitement.
-->'''Malluel''': Awww! They've overcome their differences to fall in love again.
* ThoseTwoGuys: They're never seen apart and it's even said that one of their dislikes is not being together.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Halluel is depicted as a bit more masculine than Malluel, with a deeper voice, a more sporty look and her usage of "Boku", a pronoun typically used by boys.
* WeakButSkilled: They have an ''extremely'' low attack stat at 4000 when maxed, but their skill set is very useful. In Light, they're one of the best support units because of their ability to buff and heal teammates. Their passive even allows them to be effective from the backline, similarly to their summon versions sub-aura effects.
* WeaksauceWeakness: [[spoiler:Later on in "The Maydays", Hal and Mal found out that they can't spread their wings if their backs are damaged, in this event's case, it's due to ''sunburn''. Lampshaded after the revelation due to them pointing out that the Astrals likely hadn't taken them vacationing into consideration when they designed them.]]
* WingedHumanoid: Being Primarchs this comes with the territory. Unlike the other Primarchs, however, they have two wings each positioned on their backs to make four in total when they're together.
* YourSizeMayVary: "Your Wing Size May Vary", as their wings are notable smaller and more sparse in their playable Summer unit vs their original summon art.

One of the Diviners who initially debuted as a V2 Raid Boss before she gets a proper debut in the "Heart of the Sun" as a proper character.
----
* CantLiveWithThemCantLiveWithoutThem: Ra often gets on Horus's nerves and tends to pester her too much, but she later admits to herself that Ra does genuinely care for her.
* HairTriggerTemper: "Heart of the Sun" reveals that Horus can get provoked easily and would be on the offense if provoked too much. By the time of the present, Horus tries to get over this as best as she can. Her Fate Episode has her try to rein in her explosive temper in certain situations, until she inevitably flips her shit at a drunken heckler. She initially feels great shame, only to find that the crowd actually praises her for what she did.

* TheLeader: She is the primary leader and mediator among the Diviners.
* PromotedToPlayable: Horus is the first of the Diviners to be made playable, debuting as a summer unit.
* SuperDrowningSkills: It's revealed that Horus cannot swim at all, which is hilariously shown when she tries to swim in the waters of Auguste, only to immediately sink and nearly drown.
