* SelectiveObliviousness: She'll never give a direct explanation for why she does things and lets the angels sort everything out. That being said, the main characters come to the conclusion that God knows about their friendship and doesn't see any reason to take action about it. In fact, the leads believe she used them both as part of her grand plan to delay the end of the world.

* GoodIsDumb: Muriel is...well, they're not what one would call the brightest feather in the high heavens. In fact, [[BrutalHonesty honestly]], they're just dumb as bricks. Even Metatron labels them "dim." Luckily, the trope right below this one is also in full effect. What Muriel lacks in intelligence, they make up for in kindness.

** His relationship with Aziraphale seems to be a lot less stable in the series, causing him a lot more angst.

Good Is Not Nice is for actual good guys who are, well, not nice. The angels in Good Omens are not just "not nice", they're villains. They just think of themselves as heroes, which is the point of the Knight Templar trope.

* GoodIsNotNice: They identify as the good side and support virtues in everything that they do, but pretty much all of them (the exception being Aziraphale) are not only unconcerned with the massive collateral damage to mankind and all life on the Earth the Apocalypse will inflict, but they seem to be ''hoping'' that it will happen.

* LightIsGood: PlayedWith. They all wear white or cream-colored clothing kept in pristine shape, and some of the angels have adornments of gold somewhere on their person. Of course, they are really just {{Punch Clock Hero}}es at their best, GoodIsNotNice at their worst.

They just tend to be more hypocritical about it.

As Aziraphale tries to point out, [[Literature/BookOfGenesis Eve's birth]] isn't a typical example and Gabriel is actually completely ignorant of how childbirth happens.

* TheChainsOfCommanding: [[spoiler:Season 2 reveals he's grown weary of his role of Supreme Archangel, as being the one in charge means he's the one who catches all the flack in Heaven after Armageddon is cancelled, despite it being out of his hands. He starts to long for something new, especially after falling for Beelzebub, and decides to try and ease some of the burden by putting off Armageddon: The Sequel indefinitely. This leads to him being ousted, but by that point, he no longer cares.]]

* DudeWheresMyRespect: They lament that one downside to working in Hell is that no one ever says "good job" or gives you a pat on the back for all your hard work, which makes it feel that much more pointless.
