In Interlude 1, she was attacked by Hazelfrost,
who seeks the destruction of the Clans. His plans involved tracking down the enigmatic tom known as Arise. Although his identity is unclear, he has apparently committed a deed so horrible believed that even thinking about it would be an enormous crime.her mother Goldenfoot had been killed by Sandstone. She was rescued by Jaytalon before anything could happen, however.

!!Jaytalon

A [=ThunderClan=] tom that dreams of being Clan leader. Thornstar, [=ThunderClan=]'s current leader, and Whisperwing, the elderly deputy of [=ThunderClan=], both thought he was the best choice for deputy. Whisperwing was planning to retire as soon as Jaytalon became a mentor and could be appointed deputy. However, Whisperwing died before Jaytalon could receive an apprentice (leading many to suspect that she had been murdered by Lightningblaze), forcing Thornstar to select the next best choice, Sandstone, as deputy.

Jaytalon was later given an apprentice named Mousepaw. However, Mousepaw disappeared shortly after becoming an apprentice. Whether Lightningblaze or the rogues were involved in Mousepaw's disappearance has yet to be seen.
