* SuddenlyVoiced: In his first few appearances in Matt The [=GoAnimator=] videos, he was mostly silent. But from [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBH4yot00fE Rosie Pinches Cody]] and onwards, he does speak, albeit in a rather childish and babbling manner.

* HeelFaceTurn: Miguel does this in some videos such as [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANYmJ8fkRPI Mami Gets Arrested]].

* TookALevelInJerkass: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvHK-uJwH4M He crashed Dipper Comedian 2001's birthday party]] to kill [[WesternAnimation/GravityFalls Dipper]], whom Dipper Comedian 2001 liked. He did this because he felt that Dipper Comedian 2001 showed more favoritism towards Dipper than to Little Bill.

The Smith family pet. As his name suggests, he is from Franchise/{{Pokemon}}. Has a younger sister named Latias.

* LaserGuidedKarma: Big time in [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IEpV6qQizSY this video]], where they kill their teacher (a UsefulNotes/SarahPalin caricature) simply because [[DisproportionateRetribution the teacher didn't offer them to join in on fun activities]] (granted, the teacher explains that [[NoodleIncident Joyce and Jane's past actions caused this to happen]]) before running off to Dave and Buster's. This doesn't stop a fellow classmate from telling the teacher their whereabouts, leading to a rather ridiculous series of punishments, being sent to jail, and then [[IAmAHumanitarian being eaten by their peers]].

* DudeLooksLikeALady: [=MALPSL=] essentially looks like Eric, but with lurid pink clothing and bright [[LuminescentBlush rosy cheeks]].

While nowhere near as commonly used in the Grounded videos as Caillou, Dora, or Little Bill, [[WesternAnimation/NoddysToylandAdventures Noddy]] makes appearances in these videos from time to time, usually as a troublemaker. As per the norm, he's not the CheerfulChild you know him for, and will instead regularly cause mischief much like all the other troublemakers. Usually voiced by David.

Created by an unnamed user, Zack Rosemond (Zack "Dawson" according to a few) was a former troublemaker who would go on to be a hero. He has a series of his own and a feature length film.

Mario and Luigi, of course, are the main protagonists of the ''Franchise/SuperMarioBros'' series and, considering the franchise's recognizability with [=GoAnimate's=] PeripheryDemographic of kids, make frequent appearances in the grounded videos, ranging between being recurring extras, victims of trouble-makers, or occasionally as main characters in their own videos. Mario is voiced by Brian.

* AdaptationalWimp: Canonically, they are the Mushroom Kingdom's biggest heroes. In the grounded videos, more often than not they can't even put up a fight against and are easily defeated by prepubescent children.
* BadassMustache: Although how "badass" they are seems to depend on the user.
* BigLittleBrother: Like in the actual franchise, Luigi is occasionally rendered by certain users to be taller than his older brother Mario.
* ButtMonkey: Whenever they fall victim to the troublemaker's schemes.
* DependingOnTheWriter: Both in terms of their designs and their actual characterizations. They (and other ''Mario'') characters can be rendered in many different themes depending on the user. (They usually get rendered in Comedy World or Lil' Peeps.) Characterization-wise, they can be the heroes that they are canonically or be the chew toys of the trouble-makers. Additionally, despite being rare, a handful of users (particularly those who are fans of adult media) even perceive them as "baby show" video game characters and make them either trouble-makers or treated like crap by everyone.
* GISSyndrome: Some users simply render the bros (and any other ''Mario'' characters) as their stock image art.
* RecurringExtra: Viewers will good eyes with often see them in the background.

In comparison to 'Modern' Caillou, Classic Caillou is often ''even worse'' than Caillou, and tends to get into even more trouble as a result. YouTubers like RackAnimate sometimes feature Caillou as a protagonist, and Classic Caillou as the main antagonist. In comparatively-few videos, Classic Caillou is also considered to be good.

* YourCheatingHeart: He occasionally cheats on Doris for other female characters such as Miss Martin.
