Dora is the other most popular grounding victim in the grounded videos. Much like Caillou, she regularly misbehaves for a multitude of different reasons before inevitably getting busted and grounded. Despite interacting with Caillou frequently, most of the videos involving her have their own set of characters for Dora to interact with. * AnnoyingYoungerSibling: Rosie sometimes is characterized this way towards Caillou. Sometimes ''she's'' even the one who regularly torments her sibling instead of the other way around.
* NotSoAboveItAll: Sometimes Rosie is just as much of a troublemaker as her brother.
* [[OnlySaneMan Only Sane Girl]]: Rosie is consistently shown to be the most level-headed out of all her family members. [[NotSoAboveItAll Not that that's saying much.]]
* TooDumbToLive: Rosie rarely gets wise to Caillou's schemes and inevitably has some sort of calamity befall her thanks to him.
* TheyKilledKennyAgain: Many times, Caillou's schemes end with Rosie dead. Regardless, she returns without harm in later videos.
* VagueAge: Sometimes Rosie is a baby who can barely talk (like she is in the actual ''Caillou'' TV show, but other times she is speaking coherently and regularly does the things that a six-year-old would do.

Whether as a transformation of Boris or as a separate person,
Red Boris]]
Boris stays the same: A completely red clone of Boris with enlarged facial features who is incredibly violent, excessively foul-mouthed, and even racist who regularly punishes ''everybody'', not just Caillou.

* AmazingTechnicolorPopulation
* CanonForeigner: As if the description didn't make it obvious, Red Boris is a original [=GoAnimate=] character.

* PoliticallyIncorrectVillain: Racial epithets are sometimes mixed into the character's dialogue.
* SirSwearsALot

!!WesternAnimation/{{Caillou}} and his family

[[folder: Caillou]]
[[quoteright:150:http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kaylew_c.jpg]]

One of the most popular and recurring characters in the grounded videos, WesternAnimation/{{Caillou}} tends to be characterized as a EnfantTerrible with a huge temper who will stop at nothing to get his way. At least, outside of the times where he's portrayed as more sympathetic.

* BaldOfEvil: When Caillou is genuinely villainous.
* ButtMonkey: Thanks to his past misdeeds (and the fact that he's a baby show character), most characters are shown to not enjoy Caillou's company.
* {{Flanderization}}: In his home series, Caillou is a generally well-meaning kid who has occasional bouts of brattiness when he doesn't get his way or doesn't understand something. In the grounded videos, Caillou throws tantrums at the drop of a hat and is sometimes excessively violent.
* HilariouslyAbusiveChildhood: Caillou tends to bring the punishments he gets at the hand of his parents and peers upon himself.
* SpoiledBrat: Far more so in the grounded videos than in his home series.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Caillou will move heaven and earth to spend a day at Chuck E. Cheese's.
* TookALevelInJerkass: Really goes without saying. Caillou goes from a bratty, yet well-meaning kid to a hot-tempered jerk.

[[folder: Boris]]

Caillou's daddy, nicknamed Boris, is the most frequent character to punish Caillou and is portrayed as a strict parent who is all too happy to give Caillou a Punishment Day when Caillou goes too far. However, he has been known to go to ludicrous extremes in teaching Caillou a lesson.

* AbusiveParents: One of the biggest examples in the grounded videos, Boris is usually portrayed as a violent {{Jerkass}} who hands out increasingly violent and humiliating Punishment Days to Caillou whenever Caillou acts up. Sometimes, it gets to the point that everyone from his wife, his friends, and even Caillou calls him out about it.
* CallingTheOldManOut: Being one of the most violent out of the parent characters, Boris gets this trope the most often, especially in {{Deconstruction}} videos.
* HulkingOut: Boris's alter ego Red Boris when the latter is not a separate character.
* NotSoAboveItAll: Boris is often grounded just as harshly as his son when he goes too far or does something every bit as stupid.
