He was captured and executed during the war, friends with his head displayed Shinpachi back in public.temple school, but that ended after he had an embarrassing incident where he had to poop and Shinpachi ignored him. He later became a delinquent, but was mistreated by the gang he was involved with. Shinpachi managed to pull him out from the gang, reviving their friendship. He has since then been a member of Otsu's fan club.
