* ExpyCoexistence: Of Ranpha, although their connection is definitely a stretch compared to the others. Kahlua is actually the object of near worship by Ranpha herself, the latter who is incredibly interested in horoscopes, fortunes, and of course, magic, which Kahlua is a genuine master of. Ranpha is rather hot-blooded which reflects more of Tequila and both of them care immensely for their siblings. In this case, Tequila almost treats Kahlua as her little sister and tends to put her needs before her own. In contrast, Ranpha is incredibly athletic while Kahlua is considered to be the least physically capable member of the team. Combat wise, Kahlua's Spell Caster reflects more of Mint's Trick Master as they are both flanked by three drones that boost their firepower. Their hyper weapon also acts independently of their Emblem Frames, allowing them to continue fighting while it goes off.

* Polyamory: If romanced, Kazuya not only gets Kahlua, but Tequila as well. Kahlua is actually overjoyed at the development.

Added DiffLines:

* {{Ojou}}: Comes from a well-off family with a relatively affluent upbringing and as she is the more prim and proper of the two personalities, Kahlua counts as one more than Tequila does.

Added DiffLines:

* GratuitousEnglish: Tequila frequently throws in some english in her sentences.
* GossipyHens: Tequila loves to gossip and hear the latest on Kazuya romantic life if she and Kahlua aren't the ones being romanced.
* HardDrinkingPartyGirl: Not only as a result of incurring a transformation between herself and Kahlua, Tequila likes to drink every now and then be it wine or sake.

Added DiffLines:

* IWantMyBelovedToBeHappy: Subverted in that Tequila cares for Kahlua enough for the latter to be the dominant personality and, if romanced, is perfectly willing to let Kahlua be the one who Kazuya pursues without interrupting them. For Kahlua's sake, Tequila had abandoned any thought of a love life of her own until Kazuya comes busting in with the notion to love both of them at the same time. It takes a bit of convincing for Tequila to be convinced but Kazuya's insistence does win her over.

Added DiffLines:

* TheTease: The only one on the team who actively does this to freak Kazuya out for laughs. The teasing however gets more substantive if romanced.

[[folder:Roselle Mateus]]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Creator/TakashiKondo
[[quoteright:201:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/30_rosel.png]]

The second male-member of the Rune Angel Wing and its 7th member overall. Roselle hails from the EDEN universe where he graduated at the top of his academy to become the test pilot of the Holy Blood, an Emblem Frame designed by Noa with the intent to create mass-produced Emblem Frames. He is assigned to the Luxiole along with Tapio at the start of Mugen Kairo no Kagi to bolster the Luxiole's ranks.\\\
Roselle serves as the second straight-man to the group with his lack of experience in the overly casual setting of the Rune Angel Wing, which is in contrast to his proper military background. Depending on the route, he can potentially serve as Kazuya's romantic rival, highlighting the difference in their demeanors and experience as Kazuya was mostly selected due to Milfie's luck while Roselle was selected for his excellence.\\\
Roselle pilots the Holy Blood, an all-rounder fighter with a notably tough armor used for its hyper weapon.
-----
* AllWorkVsAllPlay: Roselle's dynamic with the Rune Angel Wing. While he lightens up later, Roselle mostly kept to himself with his training regimen like a model soldier. It was only when the Angel Wing was given a formal vacation after the Three Marquis conflict that Roselle went around looking for something to do that initially sparks the route conflicts in certain routes against Kazuya.
* BookSmart: Roselle excelled in both physical tests and academics to become the pilot candidate for the Holy Blood and this shows with his extensive knowledge in both its maintenance and logistics.

Added DiffLines:

* TheAce: Whoever Kazuya pairs with romantically and pairs with by Emblem Frame becomes an incredible power-house.
* CustomUniform: Done in a similar manner to the previous Angel Wing. Kazuya and Roselle's uniforms only differ by the color of their ties
** Apricot dons a near identical skirt and uniform style to her sister's, only the pink has been replaced with Apricot's characteristic orange.
** Lily wears her large coat-like uniform over her Seldarian Knight Armor which consists of an armored top and skirt.
** Nano wears her uniform over her nanomachine leotard from when she awoke from her stasis.
** Kahlua wears a green dress underneath with thighhigh boots, arm-length gloves, and a white mantle.
** Anise wears the uniform's jacket over her usual treasure hunting garb consisting of a tube-top and baggy pants.
** Natsume's uniform is identical to the dress she wore as the princess of the Arms Alliance except with more standardized white, black, and gold colors alongside her pink and purple dress underneath.

Added DiffLines:

* ThePowerofLove: Works under similar mechanics to the previous game's relationships where a higher affection translates to boosted performance for an Emblem Frame. This boost can be compounded by having Kazuya's Brave Heart combine with another Emblem Frame to magnify its capabilities as well as practically doubling its fire-rate and speed.

She's embarrassed to death of how she acted once she returns to normal. The anime sees her make a similar outfit and hairstyle change, but that time she's doing it on purpose for undercover reasons (which also explains why she uses the alias "Mango" there).

[[folder:Kazuya Shiranami]]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Hisafumi Oda
[[quoteright:225:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kazuya_ga.png]]

The protagonist of the second trilogy. Initially an unassuming but incredibly skilled pâtissier, he was enlisted into military service on board the Luxiole as the first ever male member of the Angel Wing while being the Rune Angel Wing's 5th member overall. After six months of grueling basic training by Forte, he arrives aboard the Luxiole mere days before things go south and the Luxiole and the Angel Wing are called to action. He is soon made the unit's provisional captain and given the crucial duty of maintaining his team's mental health by Tact, a relationship that would undoubtedly become a great asset in saving his home universe of NEUE. With approval from the team's former captain, Lily, Kazuya is made the official squad leader.\\\
Kazuya pilots the RA-000 Brave Heart, an odd piece of Lost Technology that technically is not an Emblem Frame but has the unique ability to merge with another Emblem Frame to significantly boost its performance.
----
* AirGuitar: Averted as Kazuya actually does play a guitar. This part of his skill-set isn't brought up until the final game where he can potentially have a session with Natsume if the correct free roam segment choices are made. Apparently this addition to his character was suggested by his voice actor.
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: Feels like this when compared to Roselle but only in certain routes, they're on pretty good terms no matter what happens in the end.
* AmbiguouslyBrown: Kazuya noticeably has a slightly tan skin complexion in his first appearance before becoming what it is now in the profile picture.
* AudienceSurrogate: Besides his incredibly gifted talents for baking, Kazuya is mostly just a normal person who is brought aboard the military life smack dab in the middle of a dimension-wide first contact event only four years in.
* BattleCouple: From the first-half of the first game and onward of the GAII trilogy as Kazuya joins a majority of the fights that take place alongside the rest of the Rune Angel Wing.
* CannotSpitItOut: Narrowly Averted. Kazuya struggles to ask out his date in the first game to accompany him to the resort. If the player chooses Rico, he manages to call her out of her room but struggles to actually ask her out and runs off. Kazuya however stops himself, turns around, and properly asks her out to accompany him.
* ChefOfIron: A skilled fighter and also a pro at cooking, desserts in particular.
* ChekhovsGun: It is hinted early in the beginning of Zettai Ryouiki no Tobira where Forte reveals the circumstances of Kazuya's enlistment where Milfie chose his application from a pile of them at random. Kazuya is distraught at how it was just chance that got him such a position but Forte assures him that Milfie's luck has far more in store for him than he could possibly ever guess. By the final game, Eigou Kaiki no Toki, all of this does come back full circle.
** A particular one exclusively in Nano's route across the first two games. When Kazuya [[spoiler: actually dies and has his arm severed in an accident after combat, Nano sacrifices her nanomachines that compose her physical body to restore him. Particularly, the nanomachines that restored his severed right arm is more or less a big chunk of Nano and becomes a plot-resolution object in Nano's route again in Mugen Kairo no Kagi.]]
* ChickMagnet: He qualifies for this trope, and Tact doesn't, because the RUNE Angels are much friendlier to Kazuya right off the bat than the MOON Angels were to Tact initially (however, Kazuya still has to work his butt off to get an Angel to actually fall in LOVE with him, rather than simply thinking he's unusually cute and sweet).
* CombiningMecha: The main strength of the Brave Heart that combines with another NEUE Emblem Frame to boost its performance across the board.
* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter: Compared to Tact, Kazuya starts out a lot meeker and easily intimidated but soon grows into his own, becoming a lot more snarky and comfortable with the eccentrics of his team. While a bit more easily flustered, Kazuya shows respectable aptitude and initiative in his role as a leader even in his earliest days in service. Kazuya's rank as an ensign allows him to tour the ship a lot more frequently as part of his duties as a combatant, as he physically takes to the field with his Emblem Frame.
* DeclarationOfProtection: In Rico's route in the first Galaxy Angel II game, this prompts him to [[spoiler:maneuver himself so he is between Apricot and an explosion. For his trouble he gets pierced in the back by shrapnel which cuts deep enough to make him spew blood out of his mouth; also for his trouble he gets into an opportune situation, namely while he's recovering in the medbay, for him and Apricot to confess their love to each other. Also makes this declaration to Lily in the third game and more or less applies to the other girls when they're picked by the end of the series.]]
* DraggedIntoDrag: He got stuck in scenarios forcing him to crossdress multiple times before he joined the Rune Angel Wing. Joining doesn't get him away from it if you plan to do Natsume's route, as Melba forces him to do so under the name 'Katherine'. Nearly happens again in the third game (again Natsume's route), but within seconds Lily neutralizes it; the tomboyish Anise gets hit much harder in her route.
* TheEmpath: Facilitated through Tact's gift, the [[TouchTelepathy Telepathic Fur]]. With the Space Whale's absence on the Luxiole, Tact had utilized this item to better gauge how the Rune Angel Wing were feeling and he passes it down to Kazuya who uses it during his free roam segments to interact with his teammates. All Kazuya needs to do is to hold the fur, close his eyes, think of his teammates, and their locations and mood are transmitted to him. Apparently the Telepathic Fur was a gift Tact received from Mint.
** [[spoiler: Kazuya's potential with the Telepathic Fur eventually culminates with the ability to AstralProject during the climax of Eigou Kaiki.]]
* EnsignNewbie: Along with most of his fellow Rune Angel Wing members with the sole exception of Lily who is a proper Lieutenant.
* ExpyCoexistence: Kazuya and Tact as protagonists share this as both are given the duty of maintaining the mental health of their respective Angel Wing while also being a genuinely nice and caring person who eventually ends up falling in love with their chosen Angel. Kazuya comes off as a lot less lazy since his first and foremost duty is still as an ensign while Tact makes it a habit of avoiding his duties as a commanding officer. Kazuya also shares some similarities to Chitose who both were later additions to the team while also taking some time to get acclimated to their new environment. Both are also honest to a fault and easily embarrassed.
* InTouchWithHisFeminineSide: A ''very mild'' example. He's emotionally sensitive and freaks out at strange things, and his favorite thing to cook is sweets. Plus, in Lily's route in the first Galaxy Angel II game, for a completely justified reason, [[spoiler: ''He's'' the one who acts like a scorned lover and runs away in near tears, and ''Lily'' has to do the "manly" thing and fix the mess she made in their relationship, in a direct inversion of the usual Galaxy Angel videogame plot.]] However, Kazuya does not actually behave like a girl, and is willing to do "manly" things like risk his life for the sake of his loved one or invite his loved one out on a date.
** It should be noted that despite the above, Kazuya's physical ability is still well-trained as he was personally instructed by Forte herself and apparently boasts impressive endurance and speed even when compared to Anise, the sportiest member of the group. He even trains with Lily in swordplay as a form of strength training.
** He also apparently was part of his highschool's ping-pong team.
* LovesMyAlterEgo: Played with in Kahlua's route in the first Galaxy Angel II game. In this case the alter ego, Tequila, thinks Kazuya only loves the original self Kahlua. Kazuya has to bake Tequila a cake and kiss her in order to convince her that since Kahlua and Tequila are both (mostly) the same person, Kazuya loves them both.
* MadeOfIron: Kazuya can physically endure quite a lot of damage compared to Tact as early as his first game.
** Rico's route has him and [[spoiler: his spacesuit getting punctured by space ship debris that has him cough up blood and lose consciousness afterward. Mordent tells him after he regains consciousness that he's lucky to be alive.]]
** The first time Kazuya gets thrown by Rico in Eigou Kaiki has Kazuya apparently break his neck from the impact.
* NaiveNewcomer: Has the important distinction of being a complete newcomer to the military life and the politics of cross-dimensional relations between EDEN and NEUE. He is the essential eyes for the player who is introduced to experience the new universe.
* NotDistractedByTheSexy: The one time Nano-Nano shapeshifts into a "busty woman" for Kazuya to stare at, he doesn't react. His lack of reaction to the busty woman's big breasts [[ItMakesSenseInContext earns him more brownie points with Nano-Nano]]. The busty women he was looking at actually reminded him of busty Moon Angels Ranpha and Forte.
* TheOneGuy: Sort of. He's not the first male in a group of women in the Galaxy Angel franchise, but he ''is'' the first male to officially be declared an "Angel," since he takes a much more active role in battles than Tact ever did (Tact gave orders from the Elsior; Kazuya gives orders but also directly latches onto an Emblem Frame to power it up).
* RealMenCook: Kazuya's former institute of study before his military life was at a culinary school where he was apparently a pretty big deal. While his affinity towards baking led him to become a pâtissière, he is still capable of making a fancy dinner or two if need be. He uses this skill-set to woo Tequila.
* RookieRedRanger: While the Brave Heart itself is not powerful by itself, its capabilities make Kazuya an important member of the team. Kazuya himself joins the Rune Angel Wing during Lily's absence but still as a newcomer compared to some light combat experience Rico, Tequila, and Nano had prior to him joining.
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: When Roselle Mateus shows up in the second Galaxy Angel II game. Kazuya's the sensitive guy; Roselle's the manly man. This actually causes a problem in Anise and Kahlua's routes since Roselle's manlier qualities attract Anise and Tequila, Kahlua's alter-ego, and indirectly causes a problem in Apricot's route due to Kazuya's insecurity about the issue, but does not become an issue in Lily's and Nano-Nano's routes.
* SmellsSexy: Kazuya bakes sweets so frequently he smells like Apricot's big sister Milfeulle, which is why Apricot just shoves him if he touches her rather than throwing him into the air like she does to other men who touch her, Tact in particular. Tequila also comments on just how nice Kazuya smells.
* SupremeChef: He attended a culinary school alongside Luxiole's head chef, Lunti. Even Lunti admits that Kazuya's handiwork with desserts is superior to his own, and this is coming from the guy who cooks meals for every person on the ship.
* SweetBaker: Kazuya excels in making desserts and baking.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Only one ''very tiny,'' played-for-laughs example. If Tact romanced Vanilla in the previous trilogy, and the player made the correct choice at the beginning of the first Galaxy Angel II videogame to have Vanilla as Tact's married wife in Galaxy Angel II, Kazuya will wonder aloud why Nano-Nano doesn't call Tact "Papa" the way she calls Vanilla "Mama." The other Rune Angels joke that it's so Tact won't have any trouble picking up girls, an activity that would be made inconvenient if he was called "Papa" in public, which very briefly gets Vanilla irritated at Tact since she and Tact are married at that point. Tact apologizes. Vanilla warns him "Be careful...dear," but this is clearly in jest and the matter is cleared up.

He also was notably diligent in actually reading dossiers that were handed to him. Effectively trumps Rico in smarts with how well-versed he is in his field.
* CameBackWrong: [[spoiler: The after credits scene of Mugen Kairo after all routes are completed reveals that Roselle's body was recovered and Eigou Kaiki reveals that the Will entity known as Herea was able to possess Roselle's vessel as he not only was a candidate to become a "god", but his utter despair of losing his pendant, the only keepsake he had left of his late sister, allowed his body to be possessed. Also an averted example as once Roselle is able to fight back against his posessor, he's actually fully himself again.]]
* ChekhovsGun: His pendant ends up coming a long way from when it is first introduced.
* DisappointingOlderSibling: [[spoiler: Averted only because Roselle's younger sister Bianca passed away years prior to his introduction and Roselle's entire motivation stems from wanting to fulfill his sister's wish to fly through space. As soon as he was able to earn his credentials, he entered her hospital room to learn that she had already passed away.]]
* DuelBoss: [[spoiler: To fully settle the matter, Kazuya and Roselle enter the Simulation Pods to engage in a mock dogfight as to prove who has the higher compatibility with Tequila using her data with the Spell Caster while Kazuya and Roselle pilot the Brave Heart that's combined with it. This mission understandably only takes place in Kahlua's route.]]
* ExpyCoexistence: He shares similarities to Chitose being a new addition to the team after the initial Rune Angel Wing is solidified. Both entered military service due in memory of a late family member who are integral to their character development. Both are also incredibly well educated, graduating at the top of their academies to become pilots of their Emblem Frames, and also being initially put off with how carefree their respective teams actually were off-duty. [[spoiler: And unlike Chitose who is convinced not to sacrifice herself for the safety of others, Roselle actually commits to doing so as there was no other possible option.]] Also has traces of Lester where they both are more strictly military about the unit's conduct compared to Tact and Kazuya's rather relaxed take on their jobs.
* FishOutofWater: Roselle gets along with his new teammates quite well but has a bit more trouble during downtimes in getting used to their antics. It doesn't help that he's not used to social gatherings to begin with.
* GracefulLoser: Doesn't really hold Kazuya in any negative light after the applicable route conflicts in which they butt heads over a heroine. In fact, Roselle sees Kazuya better for it as he takes the opportunity to truly acknowledge that his social and emotional awareness is utterly lacking when compared to Kazuya's own, praising him as a fitting leader of the team.
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:At the end of the Mugen Kairo, he sacrifices himself to destroy Parfait by first ramming his ship into the Parfait's giant vessel and then detonating the Chrono Strings of the Holy Blood. The sacrifice doesn't stick; he's back in the third Galaxy Angel II game, albeit under the enemy's control.]]
* Leitmotif: Surprisingly has the full ensemble for his regular theme, an arranged version, and a piano version. Doesn't extend to a full vocal version like the heroines though. It is unnamed unlike the heroines' and is simply called Roselle's Theme.
* NoSocialSkills: Despite his polite attitude and generally friendly nature, Roselle went on for years in the academy as someone who shunned making connections in favor of becoming the best possible pilot he could be. His demeanor when he joins the Luxiole couldn't be mistaken at all for actual anti-social tendencies funnily enough, but then again, the perilous journey ahead of them didn't leave much room for playing around as before.
* TheRival: The romantic kind, in Anise and Kahlua's routes for different reasons. At least at first he's more appealing to Anise than Kazuya since Roselle's personality more closely matches Anise's; in Kahlua's route it's Roselle who pursues Tequila. Subverted in Apricot's route; Kazuya mistakenly thinks Roselle's a rival because Roselle is "cooler" than he is, but Apricot has no interest in Roselle to begin with, it was just Kazuya's insecurities showing.
** Not an issue in Lily's route as he actively relents and joins the Rune Angel Wing try and fix Lily and Kazuya's problem in an effective, albeit, comprehensively roundabout way.
** Nano's route does involve him heavily but the issue also stems from Nano spending too much time transformed as someone else and risking the possibility of overwriting her memories.
* ScheduleFanatic: Given that his mind and body must be at peak conditions to optimally pilot the Holy Blood, Roselle's entire schedule revolves around proper training and also properly resting, the latter of which also translates to not socializing with the other Angel Wing members as often as Kazuya does.
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: Roselle's the Manly Man to Kazuya's Sensitive Guy. This actually causes a problem in Anise and Kahlua's routes, for reasons listed in the above trope, and indirectly causes a problem in Apricot's route, again for a reason listed in the above trope.
* ShroudedinMyth: Roselle brings up the dreaded and legendary "picnics" that the previous generation's Angel Wing constantly threw when there was a cause for celebration even during active war-time. He is flabbergasted to find those rumors ring true with this Angel Wing as well when Nano and Kazuya invite him to one.
* TooUnhappyToBeHungry: Roselle recounts how after his sister passed away he entered a state of incredible depression that he wasn't able to bring himself to eat for a while and lost 40 kilograms.

[[folder:Apricot "Rico" Sakuraba]]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Creator/YuunaInamura
[[quoteright:177:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/apricot_sakuraba.png]]

The first member of the Rune Angel Wing and the younger sister of Milfeulle Sakuraba. Apricot "Rico" Sakuraba joined the Luxiole due to her immense adoration of her older sister but also due to her compatibility with one of the Emblem Frames discovered in NEUE. Like her sister, she was apparently a priestess on the White Moon before being selected. The opposite to her sister, Rico is often described as an "honor student" who possesses an intelligent and studious nature and is tasked with helping around the Luxiole with its logistics such as keeping tally of stock in the Luxiole's Storage Room and writing the team's mission reports and briefings. A notable quirk she possesses is her pathological fear of men stemming from a childhood incident that, upon contact with a male, will grant her near superhuman strength to which she uses to throw them across the room over her shoulder.\\\
Much like her sister, Apricot helps Kazuya around the initial tour of the Luxiole and introduces the regular crew members as well as the other Angel Wing members.\\\
She pilots the RA-001 Cross Caliber, an all-rounder Emblem Frame that is reminiscent of her sister's own Lucky Star with its signature enormous beam cannon.
----
* BadassAdorable: One of the sweetest girls of the franchise who only happens to have recently entered her teens but also completely capable of tossing solid stone statues, armed robotic sentries, and fully armored men like bowling balls with absolute ease.
* BerserkButton: The one time Rico gets incredibly upset is during her route in the final game [[spoiler:where a rumor spreads on the ship that she and Kazuya have gotten engaged. Embarrassed beyond belief, they go around trying to correct the rumor but she is quick in noticing that Kazuya seems way more against the notion of them getting married later on with how vehement he is in wanting to fix the misunderstanding due to embarrassment. In comparison, while still embarrassed, she doesn't find the idea unpleasant or out of the realm of possibility. This eventually leads to Rico punching Kazuya across the room and leaving her in tears.]]
* BigSisterWorship: Apricot absolutely adores Milfeulle, her big sister; in fact, Milfeulle was one of the reasons (though not the only reason) Apricot joined the Rune Angel Troupe. At the end of the third Galaxy Angel II game, she even [[spoiler: changes her hairstyle to match Milfeulle's as a joke (thanks to being given Milfie's old accessories), essentially becoming an orange-haired Milfie.]] While she starts out with this as nearly a defining trait, she grows to become more independent while still loving her sister just as much.
* BookSmart: Easily one of the conventionally smarter members of the Rune Angel Wing whose primary task outside of fighting is managing the Storage room, entering information and writing up the team's meeting reports and dossiers, and tallying the Luxiole's stock. She's also frequently trusted in getting newcomers to the Luxiole their rooms and keycards in working order. Nano has her beat in medical text (being the adopted daughter of the previous Angel team's medic helps), Tequila and Lily know more about NEUE due to being natives (Rico, being Milfie's little sister, is from EDEN), while Anise (another native) is more perceptive than smart. She's usually the only one among the team who ends up reading the reports they've given.
* {{Bookworm}}: As the brains of the team, Rico enjoys reading novels during the rare time she's not helping out around the ship. She particularly likes mystery novels.
* CherryBlossomGirl: Named Apricot ''Sakura''ba, a love interest and her pink ribbons have cherry blossoms on them.
* DoesNotLikeMen: Subverted. Apricot likes men just fine, in the sense that she can maintain a civil conversation with a man, can express concern for the well-being of nearby males, and in general maintains a pleasant demeanor. The problem is that men make her nervous and she's afraid of them, not that she hates them. Kazuya Shiranami is an exception for either one reason or two reasons depending on whether or not you're playing Apricot's route. The first reason, which applies in all routes, is that because Kazuya frequently bakes sweets, the smell tends to stick to him and remind Apricot of her big sister Milfeulle. The second reason, if you're playing Apricot's route, is that Apricot eventually falls in love with Kazuya and this motivates her to try to get rid of her fear of men at least enough so she can be close to Kazuya.
* ExpyCoexistence: She obviously fulfills the same role as her sister in both combat and character roles. While her sister is a bit ditzy, Rico is incredibly smart and organized. Both love sweets but Milfie is the one who can cook while that role in GAII actually falls on the protagonist, Kazuya. Both end up starting to show interest in the protagonist of their respective trilogies quite early. Milfie has her luck while Rico has her extreme strength which later turn out to be [[spoiler: a byproduct of her intelligent unconsciousness.]] Even their Hyper Weapons are similarly named.
* FreudianExcuse: When she was a child, Rico went to an idol concert and got stuck inside a room filled with other attendees, most of them male and the collective panicking frightened her. The darkened room and mass of people thrashing around with the little Rico being between everyone caused her to develop her fear of males.
* GirlNextDoor: Aside from her pathological reflex, Rico is easily the most "normal" of the girls among the Rune Angels. Much like how if Tact chooses Milfie, the latter reveals how she had fallen for Tact the earliest, and Rico admits similarly how she had feelings for Kazuya as soon as they met as well.
* GirlishPigtails: She ties her hair into two small pigtails that look adorable in her.
* GirlsLoveChocolate: Rico is particularly close to Kahlua for their love for sweets and unofficially form the Luxiole Sweets Club where she presides as its president and surreptitiously hands Kazuya a book of EDEN sweets to subconsciously have his inner baker be inspired to make and share his creations with them.
* HatesBeingTouched: More like "by reflex she throws a man into the air if he touches her". Justified due to an incident in her youth.
* InSeriesNickname: She's almost universally referred to as "Rico" from Ap-Rico-t barring formal self introduction scenes.
* KissOfLife: If playing Apricot's route in the first Galaxy Angel II videogame, during their beach date a duo of male surfers take an unhealthy interest in Apricot. It just gets one of them thrown into the sea for their trouble due to Apricot's fear of males being activated by touch; however, when Kazuya goes to rescue the one thrown into the sea so he won't drown, the other surfer makes the mistake of trying to grab Apricot, who then throws HIM into the sea due to her conditioned fear reflex, but he falls on top of Kazuya and knock him out. That makes it necessary for Apricot to wake Kazuya up through CPR, but she inadvertently steals Kazuya's first kiss in the process.
* {{Leitmotif}}: Kokoro to Kokoro no Present.
* MatureYoungerSibling: Rico, despite being one of the younger members of her unit, comes off as a lot more mature and studious in her duties in the military than her sister, who aside from fighting, mostly stuck to gardening and cooking. Rico in comparison writes up the reports for the benefit of the team in the briefing room meetings, organizes the ship's stock, and helps with other tasks around the ship. Rico however still knows when to have her fun though.
* SiblingYinYang: The BookSmart younger sister to the [[TheDitz ditzy]] older sister.
* SuperStrength: Not all the time; it only gets triggered if a male touches Apricot, due to her fear of men. Kazuya's an exception; he just gets a normal-strength "shove" because he reminds Apricot of her sister Milfeulle (because Kazuya smells like her). Eventually manages to get it under control.
* ThroughHerStomach: Kazuya having a dessert focus originating from a culinary school allows him to take less of an impact from Rico's reflex caused by male contact.

[[folder:Lily C. Sherbet]]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Erina Nakayama
[[quoteright:203:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lily_c_sherbet.png]]

The second member and the original squad-leader of the Rune Angel Wing hailing from the NEUE universe's capital planet of Seldar, an anachronistic planet of medieval knights. Prior to joining the Angel Wing, Lily was the leader of Seldar's Royal Guard, a position that she still holds in her heart with her unwavering loyalty to her planet and king. She is considered one of the most accomplished blademasters of her time and her discipline follows her as she adheres to strict military protocol even when among friends. This is contrasted to when her eccentric side cracks through, particularly being prone to emotional outbursts be it out of excitement or sadness. While still polite, Lily's eccentric tendencies belies her usually stern attitude which often throws people even more off when she begins sobbing uncontrollably or yelling at something. \\\
Lily is noticeably absent for the first half of Zettai Ryouiki no Tobira where she rejoins the team before the battle on Seldar before the game's midway point and the all-important route choice. While Lily holds the highest rank of Lieutenant among her Angel Wing peers, she had no qualms letting Kazuya become the unit's captain. \\\
Lily pilots the RA-002 Eagle Gazer, a long-range sniper whose role in combat mirrors Chitose.
----
* ActionGirl: Is an accomplished and well-respected member of Seldar's royal knights as well as the former captain of its imperial guard. She is regarded as one of the most prodigious wielders of the blade her planet has ever produced. Also shares this role with Anise in the Angel Wing for their physical abiilities.
* ArrangedMarriage: A plot-point that comes up in her route in Mugen Kairo where her father wishes to marry her off to a powerful family to increase their family's prestige.
* BadassLongcoat: Her Angel Wing CustomUniform has a significantly longer coattail than her peers.
* BareYourMidriff: Her Seldarian knight uniform doesn't cover up her midriff.
* BerserkButton: While she is officially a member of the Luxiole and later the UPW, her previous position and her loyalties to her planet and king remain resolute. Anyone who dares to mock them will usually have Lily brandish her blade immediately. Anise finds this out the hard way but Lily is told by her king personally to settle down.
* BFS: Receives the Tingle Bell, a blade that was once previously owned by the first king of Seldar.
* BoyishShortHair: Her short hair suits well with her serious and dependable personality.
* ByTheBookCop: Firm believer in protocol and addresses others by rank with very few exceptions.
* TheComicallySerious: Her stern demeanor and adherence to protocol is contrasted with her eccentric mannerisms and outbursts of emotion.
* ConflictingLoyalty: A problem that arises in her route in Mugen Kairo. Lily is torn between her relationship with Kazuya against her noble father's wishes to advance the family's prestige by marrying her off to a larger, more influential house of nobility. After some help, she obviously chooses the former.
* ContinuityNod: Lily missed out on 5 chapters of team-building and bonding with Kazuya compared to the other girls and is fully aware of this. To get their relationship up to speed, Lily employs her awkward-combination of social skills and professionalism to build up trust with Kazuya as quickly as possible with a barrage of relationship building exercises reminiscent of all the events that Tact went through with his own Angel Wing. A meta-example as well considering that the player would have a tough time building up affection with her given the circumstances.
** Invoking Ranpha, Lily gets both her and Kazuya matching shirts with each other's faces on the other's shirt.
** Invoking Milfie, she gets them an enormous cake to share in the cafe, while wearing aforementioned shirts.
** Invoking Forte, she invites him to the park at night and shares a "trust your back" moment with Kazuya, in her swimsuit no less.
** Invoking Mint, she later shows up to Kazuya's room in an enormous cat kigurumi.
** Invoking Chitose, they share some green tea but this turns into a marathon as she keeps trying to get the tea stalk standing vertically and keeps pouring Kazuya tea.
** Lastly invokes Vanilla, where she cleans Kazuya's ears.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: Her hair is blue, like her visible right eye. [[spoiler: Her left eye, the one she hides, is later revealed to be red like her mother's eyes, revealing her to be half-blood.]]
* DualityMotif: She has heterochromia [[spoiler:as a result of being a 'half-blood'. Her right eye is blue while her left eye is a hereditary red from her mother's side.]]
* ExpyCoexistence: She's the counterpart to Forte, both experts in their preferred form of antiquated weaponry outside of their Emblem Frames. Forte loves her ballistic firearms while Lily is incredibly powerful with her blade, something that her setting of origin actually still finds uses for during combat. Both were at one point the Captain of their units and both have something going on with one of their eyes. In terms of Emblem Frames, she shares a lot of similarities with Chitose as both fulfill the role of snipers in combat. They both also adhere strictly, to the best of their ability at least, to the military nature of the setting. Unlike Chitose however, Lily never budges in calling everyone by their last name and rank with the sole exception of Kazuya.
* FirstFriend: Is one to Steline, the engine room engineer who is notably very cross with everyone on board. The two strangely get along and is revealed that they've known each other for quite a while. Makes a bit more sense remembering that Steline is eccentric toward her engine work as Lily is an eccentric herself although that side of her isn't really prominent when interacting with Steline.
* InhumanEyeConcealers: She conceals the fact that she has heterochromia with her PeekABangs or by wearing blue contacts [[spoiler:because her red eye gives away that she's mixed-race and people of the Red-Eye clan are targets of FantasticRacism]].
* InnocentFanserviceGirl: Only once. If playing her route in the first Galaxy Angel II videogame, she wears an ''extremely'' skimpy bikini to her date with Kazuya. She picks that bikini because she can move more freely in it than in other swimsuits.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Played for laughs at first; if playing Lily's route in the first Galaxy Angel II videogame, during Kazuya and Lily's beach date, Lily wears an extremely skimpy, nosebleed-inducing bikini but does not understand why Kazuya might freak out and ask her to walk behind him instead of ahead of him (though at least she complies to his request). She also makes Kazuya uncomfortable by getting way too close to him while both of them are posing for a "holograph" photograph shot, but Kazuya lets that one slide since it's a very romantic moment he wants to treasure. Gradually played more and more seriously as Lily keeps referring to all positive social interactions as "training." This trope finally becomes a major plot point later in Kazuya's route, when, due to a series of misunderstandings in a conversation, [[spoiler: Lily throws a priceless memento of Kazuya's down a garbage chute; the memento was the ''holograph snap'' taken of their ''date!!!'' Kazuya is clearly heartbroken, but Lily doesn't even realize she did anything wrong at first and she even refers to their previous date as a "teamwork building exercise"; Apricot finally has to explain to her that constantly referring to hanging out as training, combined with throwing Kazuya's memento away as merely the final straw that broke the camel's back, is causing Kazuya to believe that Lily cares nothing for him. Lily has to solve the problem by actually digging in the garbage chute for the memento.]]
* LadyOfWar: A mature, yet slightly eccentric, young woman who is incredibly gifted in swordplay.
* LargeHam: Frequently starts singing the praises of her planet's king, his wisdom, benevolence, and glory.
* LaserBlade: Is capable of the self-explanatory "Anti Magic Blade" technique that most often takes the form of a projectile-slash that dispels all forms of magic that comes into contact with it.
* {{Leitmotif}}: Lonely Heart de OK-Da
* MundaneUtility: One of Lily's strongest abilities, and proof of mastery over her planet's swordplay, is the ability to slash away any and all forms of magic. Outside of using it during important plot moments, she uses it to play baseball against Tequila.
* PeekABangs: Her hair covers her left eye. [[spoiler: Said eye turns out to be a hereditary red from her mother's side during the third game.]]
* ThePerfectionist: Is notable for being incredibly stubborn in getting things right. Kazuya sees an example of this when she's found in the Luxiole's recreation lounge trying to beat a fighting game.
* ProneToTears: Lily will sometimes burst into tears unexpectedly, to the shock of everyone present. In two instances she cries so much she is unable to see where she's going, resulting in her walking into a wall.
* RedBaron: Frequently referred to as the "Seventh Blade Guardian" back on her homeworld. The 7 referring to her high prowess in swordsmanship.
* StraightMan: While she is not above making mistakes from time to time, Lily is still firmly grounded in proper military attitudes to keep her friends in check.
* ShamelessFanserviceGirl: In her route in the final game, [[spoiler: Lily is temporarily reduced to the size of a tiny fairy and due to this, has nothing to wear to cover herself.]] Kazuya is incredibly anxious around this fact that the slightest movement will render her naked but Lily unexpectedly shouts at him to be less shameful around this as they are lovers and should not be put off by the idea of seeing each other naked. This leads to her willingly throwing off the small piece of cloth covering her and Kazuya still freaking out.
* SuddenlyShouting: Does this a lot which catches a lot of people off-guard.
* SugarAndIcePersonality: Coolheaded and businesslike, but a friendly girl with a unexpectedly affectionate side that Kazuya discovers if he romances her.
* UndyingLoyalty: To her planet and king. At the conclusion of her route in Mugen Kairo, she and Kazuya also swear an oath to each other. Lily explains it is something done between warriors and Kazuya states that he doesn't count as one but Lily reassures him that the lengths he went to protect her qualifies him for such an honor.
* VerbalTic: Lily will sometimes express displeasure by saying "NG," which stands for "No Good." She will sometimes express agreement by saying "OK," using English letters; the latter only sounds odd because it's coming from a native Japanese speaker. Later adds even more GratuitousEnglish to her vocabulary.

[[folder:Nano-Nano Pudding]]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Creator/SatomiAkesaka
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nanonano_pudding.png]]

Unit 031, or Nano-Nano, is the third member of the Rune Angel Wing and Vanilla's adoptive daughter, who also named her. Nano-Nano is a unique entity who is a sentient, humanoid collection of nanomachines discovered in an ancient abandoned research facility on Femto, a moon of the planet Pico in the NEUE universe. Among hundreds of other nano-machine organisms lying dormant, she was the only one who awoke and her compatibility with an Emblem Frame had her become a part of the Rune Angel Wing's initial founding. While her true age is unknown, Nano has only been fully conscious for a couple of years and her mentality reflects this as her preferred form is that of a young girl with cat-like features.\\\
Like Vanilla, Nano frequently assists the Luxiole's doctor, Mordent, in the Medical Bay while also providing on the spot treatment for anyone injured. She takes a particular liking to Anise after the latter saves her from falling off the Brave Heart during their initially shaky encounter. \\\
She pilots the RA-003 First Aider which provides repairs to the other Emblem Frames but also differs slightly from the Harvester as it has access to two Hyper Weapons where she can also utilize her nano-machines for combat.
----
* ACupAngst: In her own route, she notices Kazuya staring at a couple of women with big breasts and feels insecure about herself. Luckily, she can easily fix this by shapeshifting into a busty woman. However, Kazuya later explains that he was staring at the big-breasted women earlier because they reminded him of Forte and Ranpha, two busty members of the Moon Angel Wing Kazuya admires, not because of any attraction to them.
* BigEater: Her biological oddities from being a sentient nanomachine platform aside, she loves to eat. One of her favorites being an in-universe brand of umaibo called Delicious Bars.
* BookSmart: Has encyclopedic knowledge from reading medical texts
* CatGirl: {{Downplayed|trope}}. She has a tail where her main healing nanomachines seem to be stocked and feline mannerisms, but lacks the cat ears to complete the image.
* CheerfulChild: Is easily the most energetic member of the team.
* CombatMedic: Much like her adoptive mother Vanilla, Nano-Nano can treat injuries using the power of {{nanomachines}}. In addition to "Repair Wave" Nano-Nano's First Aider machine also has a "Needle Flechette" special attack that sends large needles of nanomachines out to "penetrate" the enemy ship before detonating, so Nano-Nano can fight almost as well as she can heal, while Vanilla in the first trilogy was mostly good for healing.
* ContinuityNod: Vanilla's naming sense hasn't really gotten anywhere from Ugi-Ugi, Bun-Bun, and of course Nano-Nano.
* DisneyDeath: [[spoiler:In the first Galaxy Angel II game, if you pursue Nano-Nano Pudding's route, Kazuya becomes fatally injured by critical enemy attack. Nano-Nano sacrifices herself by using up every nanomachine that comprises her body to bring him back to life. Then SHE becomes a Disney Death when Kazuya and the crew get the idea to gather all of the nanomachines together to reconstruct Nano-Nano back to life.]]
* ExpyCoexistence: Of her adoptive mother, Vanilla, in both character and role in combat. Both serve as medics who have the habit of prioritizing others before themselves but whereas Vanilla kept her emotions in check to more effectively utilize nanomachines, Nano has no such need to restrain herself as she herself is a walking and talking platform of nanomachines. In contrast, Vanilla acts fairly mature for her age while Nano acts really young for her actual age being older than most of the characters, having only been "activated" for a couple of years.
* FurBikini: Not ''real'' fur, but if playing Nano-Nano's route in the first Galaxy Angel II videogame, Nano-Nano Pudding wears a tiger-striped bikini to her date with Kazuya.
* GenerationXerox: Like her foster mother Vanilla, Nano-Nano is the team's healer, and one of the "youngest" (at least appearance-wise, she may actually be way older than her adoptive mother Vanilla) of the Angels. Played even more straight in the third Galaxy Angel II game if you're playing Nano-Nano's route, because [[spoiler:Nano-Nano and Kazuya discover an infant nanomachine organism named "Cookie," who accidentally absorbs Kazuya and Nano-Nano's DNA, becoming their biological daughter. So just like her "mother" Vanilla, at the end of the trilogy Nano-Nano adopts a nanomachine girl as her daughter.]]
* GenkiGirl: Energetic and cheery almost to a fault. She does slightly mellow out in the successive games where being around Anise has made her snarkier and more mature to some extent. Due to being a sentient platform of nanomachines, she can express herself at will and still control them unlike Vanilla.
* HappilyAdopted: She was found and adopted by Vanilla.
* LastOfHerKind: The only nanomachine organism active in the NEUE system. There are about a hundred or more so girls who look just like her back "home" but none of them have awakened.
* {{Leitmotif}}: Te to Te to
* LeotardOfPower: Her CustomUniform is a leotard which is something she also wear during her dormant state.
* LikeParentUnlikeChild: Her GenkiGirl personality is nothing like that of her EmotionlessGirl of an adopted mom.
* {{Nanomachines}}: She's a human-shaped nanomachine construct discovered in an abandoned laboratory on the planet Femto. She can freely choose her appearance and voice.
* TheNicknamer: Nano has a designated nickname for nearly everyone in the team that isn't Kazuya or Kahlua/Tequila. You actually see the event that causes Anise to get hers.
* PlayingDoctor: Only once in the first ''Galaxy Angel II'' videogame, and played for laughs and ''not'' for titillation, given the Galaxy Angel franchise's focus on innocent romance. Nano-Nano and Kazuya play doctor as Kazuya takes off his shirt and Nano-Nano examines Kazuya's chest. Then Nano-Nano offers to take off her shirt so that Kazuya can have a turn examining ''her'' chest... but Kazuya, who unlike Nano-Nano is very much aware of the AlwaysFemale DoubleStandard FanService ramifications involved with examining a girl's naked chest, runs away screaming. Nano-Nano just wonders what got into Kazuya all of a sudden, too naive to realize the implications of what she was asking him.
* PlotRelevantAgeUp: [[spoiler: At the ''very'' end of the third Galaxy Angel II game. After the credits, the player sees that Nano-Nano has shapeshifted into an "adult" version of herself, so she can properly care for "Cookie."]]
* RobotGirl: A nanomachine organism with the appearance of a cute young girl with a tail.
* ShapeshiftingSeducer: Tries to pull this off once in the first ''Galaxy Angel II'' videogame if you're playing her route. She transforms into a busty blonde woman so she can seduce Kazuya, but Kazuya doesn't recognize her and tells the woman to go away, he's waiting for Nano-Nano Pudding. After a long conversation with the "busty woman," he finds out that the big-breasted woman IS Nano-Nano Pudding (and that he unintentionally scored major brownie points with Nano-Nano by telling the "busty woman" how much he likes Nano-Nano).
* SpinOffspring: She's the adopted daughter of Vanilla, one of the main characters of the first game.
* VagueAge: Nobody knows how old Nano "actually" is as she is practically ancient according to the database recovered on Femto. She only has been awake for a couple of years which explains her naivete and youthful cheer.
* VerbalTic: Nano-Nano has one, [[SelfDemonstratingArticle nano da!]] She loses this when she undergoes her PlotRelevantAgeUp.
* VerbalTicName: Her name is Nano-Nano and all her sentences end with "nano-da".
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: Since Nano is composed entirely of nanomachines, she can change her appearance at will, down to outfit details, facial structure, and [[VoiceChangeling voice]]. She notably does not like using her ability as impersonating people she knows gives her memory a confusing time trying to be herself but the person she is replicating.
** This becomes a problem in her route in Mugen Kairo when her memories start being replaced.
** She's completely fine with shapeshifting into someone she doesn't know as there is no threat of memory forgetting.

[[folder:Kahlua / Tequila Marjoram]]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Creator/AyaHirano
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kahlua_and_tequila_marjoram.png]]

The fourth member of the Rune Angel Wing and a member of The Twelve, the 12 most powerful magic-users in the NEUE universe. Kahlua has an alternate personality named Tequila, who is brought out as the main personality whenever Kahlua consumes alcohol, who takes over piloting their Emblem Frame during combat. Due to childhood trauma, Kahlua has developed a mental block over her own prodigious talent for magic and is unable to properly cast a spell while Tequila can cast spells without issue. While not a native of the planet of Magiic, she was raised and educated there to become an incredibly powerful witch and was selected to be a part of the Rune Angel Wing after an Emblem Frame was discovered there and she was found to be compatible with it. Both personalities are accompanied by their familiar, Mimolette.\\\
Kahlua is the primary personality who is soft-spoken and a bit slow on the uptake while Tequila is assertive and more of a tease. Both of them act as the older sister figure of the group as the oldest members of the team with different dynamics as Tequila herself is almost like Kahlua's older sister who she willingly lets to be the active persona.\\\
Kahlua and Tequila pilot the RA-004 Spell Caster, a mid to long range Emblem Frame that is assisted by three magic orbs that fire projectiles in combat.
----
[[AC:Both]]
* AlchemyIsMagic: Both identities are frequently found in their Lab/Workshop in the lowest deck where they brew potions and continue studying the magical arts. Kahlua frequently messes up resulting in the classic exploding test tubes and every so often invoking an unintended transformation. Kahlua also lists off some scientific knowledge as well, which surprises not only Kazuya but Mimolette as well.
* AllWitchesHaveCats: She has a {{familiar}} named Mimolette that looks like the floating head of a black cat.
* TheArchmage: Kahlua and Tequila occupy a seat on the Twelve, the 12 most powerful sorcerers on Magiic. The selection process involving a tournament style one-on-one duels to see who is the most worthy.
* BadassBookworm: Aside from knowledge of casting magic, both personalities have a fairly solid grasp of the history of NEUE's conflicts, particularly between Magiic and Seldar.
* BookSmart: Kahlua states that she excels in the theory of casting spells while Tequila is far better at its practical applications. Also, she was taught under the tutelage of the highest-ranked mage in Magiic so she comes from a well-educated background that we know from among the team.
* ContinuityNod: Kazuya is the sole person on the Angel Wing who is told by Tequila herself on Kahlua's fear of fire and mental block of using magic due to childhood trauma after the incident on Magiic in Zettai Ryoiki. Her past resurfaces again during Eigou Kaiki and she has to catch everyone up to speed with Kazuya already aware of the situation. Not even Mimolette knew the whole story.
* CleavageWindow: Her dress has an opening that shows some of her cleavage. It's a lot more revealing when she's Tequila.
* ForceAndFinesse: Kahlua is a lot better at wide-scale spells with lengthy incantations with specific effects while Tequila is a lot better at simpler, more conventional spells. As each successive game increases their synchronicity, their potential grows even greater.
* {{Leitmotif}}: Otome Half Tone. Kahlua seems to be more associated with the arranged version while Tequila's livelier rendition embodies the regular theme.
* MsFanservice: Not to the extent of the anime, but she does have her moments.
* SignificantNameOverlap: Kahlua's childhood friend was named Mimolette and was also the cause of Kahlua developing the mental block that hinders her abilities in casting magic. Despite this, she holds the memory of their friendship in such regard that she named her familiar after her former best friend.
* SplitPersonality: Both are basically two halves of her. One's the calmer and more reserved one, while the other one is a bit more impatient and provocative.
* SplitPersonalityMakeover: Kahlua's hair is straight and blonde, while Tequila's is wavy and purple. [[spoiler: Verita basically has Tequila's hairstyle in Kahlua's color.]]
* SplitPersonalitySwitchTrigger: The mild Kahlua can turn into her more assertive alter-ego Tequila. The switch is activated when Kahlua consumes alcohol while Tequila can turn back to Kahlua at will.
* SquishyWizard: She's one of the most powerful witches in the universe, but despite making it through basic training, she's the least physically fit member of the Rune Angel Wing.
* ZettaiRyouiki: Of the skirt-and-boots variety; the only Angel whose boots are long enough to invoke this.

[[AC:Kahlua]]
* AlternateIdentityAmnesia: For most of their life, Kahlua has no recollection of events experienced by Tequila while the latter is fully conscious when Kahlua is the active personality.
* AthleticallyChallenged: She's frequently seen gasping for air if the team has to run somewhere. She's seen multiple times being trained in the Luxiole's gym, either assisted by Mimolette or another Angel Wing member, trying to get fit again on the treadmill or doing crunches.
* BeachKiss: Kahlua and Kazuya share their first kiss with each other on the beach while Kahlua was blissfully drunk.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Kahlua functions as someone who goes by their own, slow and steady pace both in demeanor and speech. Where in one situation everyone might be scared that they saw a ghost, Kahlua would casually greet it hello.
* CuteClumsyGirl: While she's not exactly clumsy and prone to dropping things, her motor skills and physical reaction times are on the slower side.
* CuteWitch: She's one adorable witch.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: The blonde Kahlua is bubbly, gentle, and generous.
* NiceGirl: Along with Rico, they are one of the nicest and warm people on board.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: When under comedic distress, such as an awkward social situation or eatng something unsavoury, Kahlua has shown the tendency to manually invoke a transformation without alcohol to switch to Tequila and share the uncomfortable experience, much to the latter's beilderment.
* SuperSwimmingSkills: Kahlua loves swimming and is absolutely thrilled at the prospect of going to the beach.
* SweetTooth: Loves sweets and is part of the unofficial Luxiole Sweets Club with Rico as the vice president, Kazuya can end up as one of its members.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: Due to childhood trauma, she is afraid of fire.

[[AC:Tequila]]
* CoolBigSis: Comes off as one as the oldest member of the Rune Angel wing at 21. Also acts as a big sister to Kahlua herself.
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: [[spoiler:Tequila suffers with this for a bit during her route in Zettai Ryouiki. It takes a bit of her HeroicResolve to get herself back in control.]]
* HotWitch: While a witch like her other personality, Tequila is more sexy than cute.
* IndirectKiss: Tequila can have one with Kazuya no matter whose route he's on if he visits her in Mugen Kairo's Chapter 4 Free Roam segment.
* LastNameBasis: Similarly to Lily, Tequila refers to everyone by their last name.
* SexierAlterEgo: Each time she swaps from Kahlua to Tequila, her bust line (and by extension, her whole body) fills out and practically exceeds her top, leaving her green dress underneath. A free roam segment has Kazuya and Mordent discover that Tequila's bust is 2cm larger than Kahlua's.
* SuperPoweredAlterEgo: While a distinguished mage through and through, Kahlua is unable to cast magic so her alternate-self Tequila does it for her.

[[folder:Anise Azeat]]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Satomi Hanamura
[[quoteright:198:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/anise_azeat.png]]

The sixth member of the Rune Angel Wing who is initially introduced as a self-proclaimed Treasure Hunter who tried to rob the Luxiole on her lonesome, serving as the tutorial stage enemy for Kazuya. Anise's next run-in with the Luxiole would be successful as she poses as a member of the Blancemanche Company, infiltrates the Luxiole, and takes off with the Brave Heart. She begins to have second thoughts of selling off the Emblem Frame as she initially planned and the Luxiole coming into assist her in the altercation that following her deal gone wrong had her temporarily join the Rune Angel Wing, as she was also revealed to be a pilot of a proper Emblem Frame of her own. Her temporary an enlistment was under the condition of paying off her loan to Mint who sold her the ship that got destroyed in the debacle. Half-way through Zettai Ryouiki no Tobira, Anise gets the opportunity to name her price for saving Mint's Department Ship while the other Emblem Frames were in maintenance and she asks to be cleared of her debt, eliminating the need to stay on the Luxiole. Anise however decides to stay and becomes a fully-fledged member of the unit. \\\
Anise is the frequent troublemaker of the group whose independent background and unfiltered speech usually rubs people the wrong way. Despite this, she still good natured, if not a bit too fast on the draw on arriving at conclusions and being seen as insensitive because of it. She also possesses prominent tomboyish qualities.\\\
Anise pilots the RA-005 Relic Raider, an Emblem Frame noted for its speed not unlike the Kung-Fu Fighter.
----
* AbusiveParents: Subverted and mostly averted. Anise's parents passed away in a mineshaft collapse during her infancy and she was raised by a family friend, Kelvin. Kelvin honored the last request of Anise's parents, who wanted Anise to grow strong and independent but also have her make lifelong friends in a place she truly belongs, and kicked Anise out onto the streets to "toughen her up" at the age of 8. This decision weighed heavily on Kelvin ever since and sure enough, Anise grew into a very dependable and independent person who managed to make true friends with the Angel Wing. Anise is however at conflict with her feelings toward her old caretaker as she both appreciative of him for putting her through the experiences that made her into who she is today but also has some resentment towards him for the exact same reasons of making her go through so much. Keep in mind, Anise is not told of what her parents hoped for her until her first reunion with Kelvin in 8 years in her chapter of Eigou Kaiki.
* AccidentalMisnaming: She accidentally calls Mint Blancmanche "Mint Butamanju," which means "Mint Porkbun". Mint retaliated by raising the interest on her debt.
** Becomes a consistent RunningGag as she has a hard time keeping with all the names the cast is introduced to and doesn't really try all that hard to say their names properly.
* ActionGirl: While not formally trained like Lily and Tequila have been, Anise has amassed her repertoire of physical ability, endurance, and craftiness from the 8 years she spent surviving the galaxy alone.
* ActuallyAGoodIdea: Anise points out certain things during conversations, be it exposition dumps or tactical meetings, that belies her usually flippant attitude. When praised for her observations however, Anise gets incredibly flustered as she is not used to praise in the slightest due to growing up completely alone the past 8 years.
* BareYourMidriff: She wears a bikini-like red top which exposes her midriff.
* BigEater: Anise explains that she's never picky about taste as having experienced starving during her time alone has her appreciate any meal. She later develops a taste for spice in imitating Ranpha and is known to be a frequent visitor to the Cafeteria outside of regular meal times.
* ButtMonkey: Most often finds herself on the receiving end of some form of punishment for doing exactly the opposite of what she's told to do due to her recklessness. Also has the habit of saying the wrong thing every now and then. This trope gets amped up really high in Eigou Kaiki where makes some sort of faux pax at least once every chapter and getting comically reprimanded for it.
* CleavageWindow: I mean, come on, her top should basically be just a bra with how much skin it shows.
* ChekhovsGun: As early as the first game Anise overhears the two fairies that accompany King Soldum mention her parent's names. This point isn't brought up until her chapter in the final game.
* CombatStilettos: Implied in her route of the third game, thanks to her changing into an outfit similar to the one Kazuya got forced into in the first game (and a CGI of Kazuya's case when his ruse is revealed).
* CompetitionFreak: To a mild extent, fortunately.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Has quite a couple in Zettai Ryoiki.
** Being introduced as someone dumb enough to try and mug the Luxiole on her lonesome already suggests her hasty attitude, as well as her irreverence as she has no idea who Tact is.
** Surprise surprise, if given the opportunity, Anise can not only infiltrate the Luxiole but also make a clean getaway with the Brave Heart after evading the guards. Not only that, she has time to save Nano's life [[spoiler:not really]], which still paints her as a decent person.
** Last but not least, Anise is the first to put her foot down and gives Tact an ultimatum about their impasse regarding Nano's incapacitation. While securing allies at Magiic would be the soundest priority, saving Nano comes first as Tact must protect his crew first and foremost. A bit of a meta moment here as losing their primary fighting force's combat medic would not turn out well for them in the slightest.
* ExpyCoexistence: She's the counter-part to Mint. Their plot connection is almost played for laughs, with how Mint dangles Anise's ever constant debt to her company in front of her. This is made even funnier when one considers Anise's initial debt to Mint paid, but her nature to constantly break the machines in the Luxiole Recreation Room, paid and supplied by the Blancmanche Company, accrues a new debt to Mint. Both end up being from a [[spoiler: rich or influential family]] as well as having their parental figures having expectations of them. While Mint was expected to cede her wishes to become the heir to her family's business, Anise was simply asked to become a strong individual with many companions. Mint's refined nature also completely clashes with Anise's hasty and irreverent attitude. She shares more in common with her Emblem Frame counterpart with Ranpha, both being athletic and being prone to jumping to conclusions. Their Emblem Frames also are the fastest among the team which reflects their general disposition (not to mention they're both red in color). Anise also looks up to Ranpha and Forte for their athleticsm but this is more directed at Ranpha as Anise ends up picking up Ranpha's preference for spicy food.
* FieryRedhead: Magenta hair and a hotheaded girl. The perfect combination.
* GirlishPigtails: She has the stereotypical anime {{Tsundere}} twin-tail hairstyle.
* HatesBeingCalledCute: Gets flustered anytime she is praised for something, even her looks.
* HiddenDepths: Is noted to be surprisingly sharp and tactically sound in mind by Tact, Forte, and even Noa of all people.
* HeelFaceTurn: She's actually first introduced as an enemy pirate trying to get the Luxiole to surrender all their valuables; serving as the tutorial stage of the game. It's getting beaten in that battle that damages Anise's ship and makes it necessary for her to seek a loan from Mint. A woman named Dieta offers Anise a large sum of money if she can steal the Brave Heart from the Luxiole. Anise face-turns a lot sooner than most examples of this trope, though, partly thanks to Dieta double-crossing her when the Brave Heart unexpectedly merges with Relic Raider, the latter's reveal causing her to join the Rune Angels.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: While brash, irreverent, hasty, and coming off as insensitive, Anise's heart is still in the right place most of the time when she's not intentionally poking fun of someone. She was the first to put her foot down to convince Tact to prioritize restoring an exhausted Nano instead of rushing on over to Magiic during an impasse. She also saves Nano mid-robbery from falling off a precarious height during their scuffle in the Brave Heart's cockpit and lands her down safely before taking off (for which Nano nicknames her "Boss").
* {{Leitmotif}}: Hanikami Hunter.
* {{Malaproper}}: Sometimes she uses a word that sounds similar, but has a different meaning.
* MasterOfUnlocking: A free roam segment reveals that Anise has a pile of locks that she lock picks in free time to keep her skills sharp.
* TheNicknamer: Mild example, she refers to Ranpha as "Sis" and Forte as "Big Sis".
* RoyalBlood: ''Sort of.'' [[spoiler:In the second Galaxy Angel II videogame, if you're playing Anise's route, it is discovered that while not royalty and thus not a straight example of this trope, Anise actually comes from a family of "distinguished treasure hunters" who were friends with the Seldor royal family. This connection does make an appearance in the third game; the Seldor king, then undercover as 'Stanley', is the one who got Anise (then an infant) out of a collapsing mine as the two of them were prioritized by Anise's parents (Garam and Masara perished in the collapse).]]
* OnlyInItForTheMoney: She's after treasure and at first couldn't care less about the battles Kazuya and crew are trying to fight. Justified, she's trying to pay off a huge debt to Mint.
* OreOnna: She's so much of a tomboy that she refers to herself with the manly first-person pronoun 'ore'.
* PirateGirl: Is introduced and commonly accused as a pirate but she always corrects people that he is a Treasure Hunter.
* PutOnABus: Averted. Kazuya feared something like this would happen when Anise states that she wanted to take some time off from active duty and go treasure-hunting on her own. Kazuya feared that Anise's absence would be lengthy but she later states that she doesn't have the intention of leaving for long.
* RaisedByDudes: After the death of her parents, Anise was mostly raised by the other members of her family's Treasure Hunting group, predominantly by its veteran members Kelvin and Grog.
* SatisfiedStreetRat: Anise's plethora of skills and on-the-spot thinking is something she is valued for. Anise has only a handful of gripes about her upbringing but also pretty content with how she has survived.
* SheCleansUpNicely: She generally dislikes dresses and flowy clothing but is forced into one during her route conflict in Mugen Kairo.
* SoProudOfYou: Anise's chapter in Eigou Kaiki basically covers the first half of her life and the reason why she went to be left to her lonesome for 8 years before joining the Angel Wing. Anise was essentially kicked out of the comfort of her home to become strong left her with some unresolved family issues until she is forced to confront them again in the final game. When told that she had grown into the person her late parents wished and hoped for her to be, her existing weakness to praise reaches its peak, and she begins to cry.
* StreetSmart: Justified as she grew up alone for several years.
* TheTease: She asks Kazuya to feel her heart to see how fast it's racing, but she puts Kazuya's hand on her ''breast'' so Kazuya can feel her heart, embarrassing Kazuya. Slightly averted because Anise had no idea what she did wrong when Kazuya runs out crying due to her tomboyish demeanor not fully seeing herself as a potential partner for Kazuya.
* TomboyishVoice: She speaks in a low, husky voice to match her extremely tomboyish behavior and speech.
* TreasureHunter: She comes from a family of distinguished treasure hunters and proudly calls herself one too.
* TrueCompanions: After nearly a decade of surviving out alone in the galaxy, Anise finally finds her place among true friends within the Rune Angel Wing, the one thing her late parents wanted for her.
* {{Tsundere}}: As obvious as it is that she likes Kazuya, she's naturally a brash and stubborn girl so she hates to show sappy feelings.
* UnwillinglyGirlyTomboy: In her route of the third game, a curse she unwittingly activated causes her to act girly for some time (during which she adopts a different outfit and styles her hair differently). She's embarrassed to death of how she acted once she returns to normal. The anime sees her make a similar outfit and hairstyle change, but that time she's doing it on purpose for undercover reasons (which also explains why she uses the alias "Mango" there).
* WorkOffTheDebt: She joins the Angel Wing to pay off her debt to the Blancmanche Company. She decides to stay permanently after some time and then accrues a new debt to Mint.

[[folder:Princess Natsume Izayoi]]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Creator/AtsukoEnomoto
[[quoteright:290:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/natsume_izayoi.png]]

The eighth and final member of the Rune Angel Wing, Natsume was formerly the 22nd crown princess of the Arms Alliance, a trio of planets whose population were once part of Seldar before being exiled in ages past. Much like Anise, Natsume's first encounter with the Luxiole was fairly hostile, leading a small detachment of her empire's fleet against the Seldar Alliance and the Luxiole. Natsume was defeated and was brought on board as a captive. Her interactions with Kazuya and the rest of the Angel Wing convinces her that she was being used as a political tool by her subordinates, the Three Marquis, to wage war against Seldar and its allies. \\\
Initially uncooperative, Natsume begins to see that the Luxiole's crew and Seldar were not the "evil empire" that she was being led on about and later joins the fight against her conspirators. Fighting against her own people however had her status as the princess revoked but also gave her the opportunity to become an official enlisted member of the Rune Angel Wing. Much like Chitose, her route begins in the second game of the trilogy, Mugen Kairo no Kagi, which already heavily features her as a character. The game also came with a bonus disc with content for Zettai Ryouiki no Tobira to contextualize how Kazuya did not end up with the five other members of the Angel Wing prior to meeting her.\\\
Natsume pilots the RA-006 Papillon Chaser, a heavily fortified fighter that utilizes butterfly shaped ordnances.
----
* AntiquatedLinguistics: While not many other characters from the Arms Alliance are met, Natsume characteristically speaks with archaic Japanese, ending a lot of her sentences with -ja/jaro instead of -da/daro.
* BadassAdorable: Only 11 years old and she's goading armed terrorists to shoot her and then casually dearming makeshift bombs. Also gloats to the entirety of the planet that exiled her that the princess they kicked out was the one saving them again.
* BarrierMaiden: Eigou Kaiki reveals that the forehead marking she has doubles the point where she can invoke a protective barrier-like bubble that protects her. She states that she's always had the ability and that the female members of her family can do it. She apparently used it as early as Mugen Kairo to fend herself from Lily being too pushy about protecting her. Lily apparently forgot to bring it up.
* BridalCarry: Kazuya has the option of satisfying her curiosity on what a Princess Carry feels like.
* CuteOversizedSleeves: She's a very cute princess who always wears outfits with oversized sleeves that go past her hands.
* ElegantClassicalMusician: She's the only other Angel Wing member aside from Kazuya who can play an instrument.
* ExpyCoexistence: Like Chitose, she ends up joining the Angel Wing as its last member with their home planets being bearing Asian influences. Chitose is burdened to become a great soldier in memory of her father while Natsume shoulders the expectations to lead the Arms Alliance. They both suffer from a meta example of simply having less screentime than the others. Unlike Chitose though, Natsume's route starts a game early and the sheer lengths of Mugen Kairo and Eigou Kaiki give her significantly more time to feel as part of the team than Chitose does. Her Emblem Frame is a counter part to Forte as they both pilot the slowest but the most heavily armed and armored Emblem Frame with a high amount of explosives. Both also share a fascination for firearms.
* FacialMarkings: A flower mark in her forehead. It functions as the origin of her hereditary barrier ability.
* HeelFaceTurn: Introduced as an enemy at first. The Three Marquis, the true rulers of the Arms Alliance, lied to Natsume and made her think the Seldor Alliance that the RUNE Angels serve is evil. Then, after being captured, Natsume heel-face-turns for two reasons: One, she realizes the Angels aren't evil after they prove to be nice and friendly, so the Three Marquis must have lied to her. Two, the Three Marquis firmly grasp the VillainBall and decide to ''abandon Natsume to her fate'' back when Natsume thought the Angels were evil and going to do something bad to their prisoner. Natsume realizes who the ''real'' bad guys are, and joins the RUNE Angels.
* LadyAndKnight: Prior to fully joining the Angel Wing, Natsume has Lily assigned to be her bodyguard much to Natsume's chagrin as she found Lily's stubbornness tough to deal with.
* {{Leitmotif}}: Fueru Nara Sotto.
* MeaningfulAppearance: Her incredibly long sleeves that go past her wrists quickly clues anyone in that she is royalty.
* TheMovieBuff: Becomes the primary occupant of the Luxiole's Theater Room in Eigou Kaiki where Natsume is frequently found watching cartoons and movies. Chitose shared some of her romance and horror films for the collection.
* NoblewomansLaugh: Has a small "ohohoho" when teasing Kazuya and Lily in the latter's route.
* OjouRinglets: Two hair sidelocks curled like drills. Perfect for a princess.
* ParentalAbandonment: Is formally disowned after the events of Mugen Kairo from her home-planet, no longer making her royalty, which leaves her free to become a proper crewmember of the UPW and the Luxiole.
* ShelteredAristocrat: Natsume lived a sheltered life and exhibits curiosity as expected of someone her age. Before her encounter with the Rune Angel Wing, she never knew what a movie or the flavor of sweets were. The latter carries over to the anime.
* SixthRanger: Complete with being introduced as an enemy before joining the team.
* UnwittingPawn: Of the Three Marquis, at first. She gets better.
* WiseBeyondTheirYears: Being raised as the next ruler of the Arms Alliance characterizes Natsume's willingness to put her people before herself and have a fairly mature aura for the youngest member of the Angel Wing. The maturity only lasts for so long when something truly annoys her though.

[[folder:Mimolette]]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Akiko Kobayashi
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/mimoret.jpg]]

The cat-like familiar belonging to Kahlua/Tequila Marjoram. He is a strange, cat-like species with inherent magical abilities whose species are native to Magiic. Mimolette is named after the childhood friend Kahlua had in her youth, who was also the catalyst for her mental block concerning magic, which necessitated the personality of Tequila to be formed. Mimolette is present wherever Kahlua goes and assists with helping Kahlua change into Tequila when the situation demands magic support.
-----
* AnimalTalk: Always ends his sentences and words with "nye" as he is still a feline creature.
* BreakingTheFourthWall: Is possibly the only entity in the franchise, aside from Kuromie who already knows, who acknowledges Kazuya's ability to know where Kahlua/Tequila is and who is the active personality at a given point in time during the free roam segments.
* {{Expy}}: Mimolette is the closest thing to the games get to a Normad from the anime. While he is nowhere near as frequently abused, he is still the "mascot" character who gets some gratuitous scenes in the OP.
* {{Familiar}}: He's Kahlua and Tequila's familiar. His magical prowess has seen him act as a body decoy, a portable mic to eavesdrop, and an umpire for impromptu baseball.
* FlyingFace: Mimolette is nothing but the flying head of a cat.
* MeaningfulName: Named after Kahlua's childhood friend, Mimolette, a fact revealed to Kazuya by Tequila herself after Kahlua passes out from her fear of fire in Zettai Ryoiki. When Mimolette distanced herself from Kahlua, the latter named her new familiar to replace her.
* OutOfFocus: Notably gets less and less screentime as the series goes on as the Rune Angel Wing's crew get to interact way more with each other, which rarely includes Mimolette. By the time of Eigou Kaiki no Toki, Mimo is seen very rarely but is still in the opening to make some funny faces.
* RubberFace: Immediately in his introduction, Nano exhibits how pliable Mimo's face, or entire body, is by stretching him out, much to his discomfort. Played for laughs as Kahlua is also entertained and notes out she's never known Mimo to be that flexible. Occurs once again in the opening animation of Mugen Kairo no Kagi where Nano and Natsume are the ones pulling him.
* TeamPet: Mimolette is the weird floating cat head {{familiar}} of Kahlua/Tequila, so he hangs out with Rune Angel Wing often.

!!The Luxiole's Crew
[[folder:In General]]
The regular crew of the state of the art battleship and the home for the Rune Angel Wing. Unlike the Elsior, that was a piece of Lost Technology originally used as a celebratory parade-vessel turned warship, the Luxiole was designed from the ground-up as an upgrade to the Elsior. Noa's technological expertise created a vessel that was not only larger than the Elsior but was outfitted to be tougher, stronger, and faster than the Elsior while not sacrificing the accomodating living spaces the Elsior was known for. Similarly to the Elsior, where a majority of the crew were conscripted Moon Priestesses from the White Moon, the Luxiole's crew consists of some civilian members. Because the player takes control of Kazuya, a regular crew member instead of a commanding officer like Tact, the crew of the Luxiole are interacted with a lot more.
----
* EdibleThemeNaming: They're all named after food, mainly pastries.
* TheUnseen: All three Brigdehands are given a face and voice starting from Mugen Kairo before being given proper names in Eigou Kaiki. The other members of the Engineering Team sans the three named ones are not given names or sprites and only their voices are heard in unison when they cheer.

[[folder:Tapio Ca]]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Creator/SusumuChiba
[[quoteright:150:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tapio_ca.png]]

The newly appointed Chief Operator and 2nd in Command of the Luxiole following Tact's promotion to the UPW and Coco's own promotion as the Luxiole's commanding officer. Tapio's introduction makes a rough first impression to the crew as his incredibly stern and militant attitude threatens the casual atmosphere of the Luxiole that Tact and Coco have fostered, with some even worried that Tapio intends to become the next commander instead. Tapio however does not have such aspirations and instead only wished to see the strength to overcome adversity and the power of trust inherent within humans.\\\
Tapio is revealed to be a Val-Fasq and his inclusion into the Luxiole's crew has significant contextual meaning if one is aware of their villain status in the previous trilogy. Tapio is the sole representative of the Val-Fasq race in the second trilogy and also serves as a lens into the alien culture both before, during, and after the war with Transbaal. Starting from his introduction, Tapio also serves as the temporary helmsman of the Luxiole during combat using his race's signature ability to directly interface with machines.
-----
* ZeroPercentApprovalRating: Starts out this way in Mugen Kairo before becoming more accepted by the rest of the crew later on. Everyone knows he is incredibly skilled, he just happens to take his work very seriously and expects everyone else to do the same.
* AmbiguouslyBrown: Tapio has a noticeably darker complexion compared to the other characters and compared to the other Val-Fasq.
* ColonelBadass: Holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and gets his fair share of cool moments with Coco in commanding the Luxiole against the larger ships the Emblem Frames can't deal with.
* TheComicallySerious: Tapio is unflinchingly committed to maintaining order and military professionalism on the ship. By Eigou Kaiki, his curiosity on human interaction has him start studying comedy and his regular outbursts of trying to make an appropriate joke leads to well-timed execution but to a flabbergasted audience.
* EyesAlwaysShut: Tapio's gold eyes are rarely opened except in moments of anger or sadness. He does frequently open them during combat however.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Tapio means well, but will not really bother to sugarcoat things. Even Tact describes him as someone who is not the most considerate of others feelings but still decidedly not a bad person. Tapio himself is a source of some sincere praise and uplifting remarks when he means it.
* HeelFaceTurn: An example for his entire race, following in [[spoiler: Wein's]] footsteps. Tapio himself was a decently high ranking member of the Val-Fasq chain of command who transferred into the EDEN military after the war in the hopes of learning about the power of trust and love that the Moon Angel Wing utilized to crush the Val-Fasq fleet, purely out of inspiration and curiosity instead of revenge.
* HumanityIsInfectious: Tapio himself becomes more interested in human culture as the games go on and his strict demeanor gets ever so slightly more approachable, or at the very least, more familiar to the rest of the crew.
* HumorlessAliens: Tapio isn't one for jokes or sarcasm and his sincerity oftentimes mistakes the intentions of others but he more or less thinks pretty highly of everyone else. This shifts as he starts to incorporate more light-hearted joking to his repertoire.
* ImprobablePilotingSkills: Tapio can manually take control of the Luxiole with his Val-Fasq abilities and can make conventionally impossible maneuvers to steer the ship to safety in emergency situations.
* ManlyTears: The final game of the franchise has its fair share of moments that draw this out of him.
** Occurs in the very first chapter of Eigou Kaiki where Tapio witnesses the [[spoiler: Elsior and its Emblem Frames being sacrificed to save the Val-Fasq Homeworld.]]
** And in the final chapter of the series, Tapio witnesses [[spoiler: a flash of light that could have meant the end of existence as we know it, only to find the Rune Angel Wing at the center of the explosion safe and unharmed.]]
* MrExposition: As the mouthpiece of the Val-Fasq people, Tapio sheds light on the philosophy, culture, and history of his people in select moments in the series.
** In terms of how the Val-Fasq are seen in the EDEN universe 4 years after the war, the reactions are not entirely positive. Roselle becomes immediately wary of Tapio the moment he learns that he is a Val-Fasq and a number of EDEN civilians are quick to distrust them. However, Tact, Rico, and many others are more than willing to come to understand the Val-Fasq and give them a chance. Roselle doesn't really act on his negative suspicions either.
** Tapio accurately summarizes that his people's mindset will always prefer the most rational choice when it comes to decision making. Tapio himself and his kind still need to get better at empathizing with others.
** Also explains a bit further on Val-Fasq and machinery interfacing. Any device that they want to apply control over requires a piece of technology called a V-Chip.
* TheStoic: Practically takes over Lester's role in the second series as being the one person who keeps the Luxiole's generally lighthearted atmosphere still working as a proper military vessel. While he may be even more strict than Lester, Tapio also acknowledges the results that Tact's style of leadership has achieved and is perfectly fine with letting things operate as they were but is willing to step in if efficiency falls. Also unlike Lester, Tapio does break his own stoicism when trying to gain Coco's attention.
* TronLines: A noticeably distinct example from his Val-Fasq peers. Nefuria, Rowil, [[spoiler: Wein]], and Gern all had parallel glowing lines running down their faces and bodies but Tapio's markings are completely different as they resemble tribal markings. Another feature unique to Tapio's Val-Fasq marks are that his change in intricacy in response to how much control he is exerting over a ship.
* UndyingLoyalty: Despite beginning his relationship with Coco on an incredibly rough start, to the point where Coco was thinking of stepping down as commander, the two have become an incredibly effective duo in commanding the Luxiole. Tapio, while critical during Coco's on-the-spot assessment, is the first to come to her defense and outright shout her praises. Tapio had fairly high expectations from Coco during the start of Mugen Kairo as the woman who assisted Tact in three major conflicts and when she finally does come in to her own, he is utterly smitten with her as she also represented the strength of humans to adapt and overcome in the face of adversity.
* VagueAge: Tapio's age is never revealed but his position within the Val-Fasq military does make it a question to think about. His exact rank in the Val-Fasq hierarchy is never clarified but he was privy to sensitive information of his people's history predating their conflict with the EDEN civilization, a fact he explains is shared to a very few select individuals.

[[folder:Lunti Fiadone]]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Creator/HiroyukiYoshino
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lunti.png]]

Head Chef on the Luxiole and one of Kazuya's friends from before his military enlistment.
----
* BestFriend: Kazuya and Lunti have been friends since their days in the Culinery Academy. Apparently both of them fell out of contact and were surprised to see each other on the Luxiole.
* BromanticFoil: Lunti acts as Kazuya's only male friend onboard the Luxiole. While keeping his friendly demeanor around Kazuya most of the time, he expresses extreme jealousy at the fact that Kazuya gets to be "surrounded by beautiful girls" while he gets be "surrounded by pots and pans".
* ComicalAngryFace: Has an incredibly detailed scowl where he is squinting his eyes.
* TheConfidant: Lunti is one of Kazuya's unique confidants around his age he turns to for relationship advice and other worries during downtime.
* CoolLoser: Lunti is a talented young prodigy who undertakes the herculean task of feeding an entire warship's crew their daily three meals all on his lonesome. Despite his decent looks and cooking prowess, he is often ignored as a romantic partner by the female members of the crew. It's PlayedForLaughs but Lunti doesn't get the girlfriend he desires by the end of the series.
* HandsomeLech: He makes it clear that he will ''always'' prefer the company of girls over guys and is adamant in stating that "guys cannot be Angels" when Kazuya and Roselle are involved.
* HyperAwareness: He mentions that he stares at the girls so often when they're around that he knows when they're feeling troubled just from looking at their expression and mannerisms.
* MobileKiosk: After dinner hours, he continues manning an oden food cart in the Park.
* RealMenCook: His entire job to provide scheduled meals on time as well as customized ones on request.
* SupremeChef: He's an incredibly talented chef.
* TeamChef: He's responsible for feeding the entirety of the Luxiole.

[[folder:Melba Brownie]]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Creator/KanaAsumi
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/melba_brownie.png]]

The Tea Lounge Maid stationed on the Luxiole. Despite her appearance and her insistence on maintaining her role as the Tea Longue's waittress, she is a fully trained ensign compared to the other actual civilians on board.
----
* BubblyWaitress: Melba is a cheery girl whose personality fits the flashy uniform she wears as she tirelessly works as the sole waitress of the Tea Lounge. Melba has immense pride to her job and work ethic. Even Lily commended her for her passion toward her duty. She does, however, get angry at people who loiter around the lounge and don't order anything.
* EarlyInstallmentCharacterDesignDifference: Melba apparently changed her uniform between ''Zettai Ryoiki'' and ''Mugen Kairo'', but it's difficult to pin down the differences between her maid outfits. Her actual uniform change from western maid to eastern in the final game is a lot more noticeable.
* IdiotHair: She has an ''ahoge'' sticking up at the top of her head.
* {{Meido}}: Melba is the sole waitress of the Luxiole's Tea Lounge and she dresses in a classic maid outfit. Due to her bizarre training, she is quite competent at her job as she seems more concerned about playing a proper maid over being an enlisted member of the military.
* NinjaMaid: Melba's maid uniform causes the crew to often forget she's an enlisted member of the military, but apparently she has mastered some [[MartialArtsAndCrafts weird martial-arts that mixes her waitress duties and conventional fighting techniques]]. If all else fails, she reveals that she carries a P90 with her.

[[folder:Dr. Mordent Bagel]]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Creator/KunihikoYasui
[[quoteright:200:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dr_mordent.png]]

The Luxiole's Medical Officer and Counselor. Mordent fulfills another role as the counselor for not just the young Angel Wing but for any other personnel on board. He's trained enough to fulfill this role as well as being a general physician for anyone needing medical treatment. Much like Dr. Kela before him, a lot of the less serious treatments are handled by Nano who helps him at his office.
----
* BadassBaritone: He has a deep but soothing voice.

* TheMedic: He's the sole doctor and mental health counselor serving on the Luxiole.
* WarIsHell: Kazuya can talk to Mordent about the unforgiving nature of war and how while Kazuya's optimism is well-meaning, it is ultimately naive to think a war can be waged without expecting injury or death. It is a surprisingly dark topic in the otherwise relatively clean universe Galaxy Angel tends to be.

!!Planet Seldar
[[folder:King Soldum Seldar]]

The young king of the planet Seldar, the capital planet of NEUE and the foremost authority in the political dealings with the EDEN universe. Fair and just, Soldum is accompanied by two fairies who facilitate mental linking as to communicate with others verbally, as Seldar traditions forbid him from using his voice outside of his direct family. He is a frequent collaborator in assisting the Luxiole's crew navigate through the political side of the problems that come to affect the NEUE universe as well as disclose information that only he as king is privy to.
----
* HundredPercentAdorationRating: From the number of Seldar citizens the crew meets, Soldum is highly regarded by all who know him and venerated as a incredibly benevolent ruler. The only objections to his rule come from a group of traditionalists who bemoan his benevolence being spread to the kingdom's former enemies.
* AltarDiplomacy: Comes up in Natsume's extra route in Mugen Kairo. Soldum suggests a political marriage to ease tensions between the Arms Alliance and the Seldar Alliance to protect Natsume from any more political puppeteering. He is glad to see Kazuya step up and interfere with this plight.
* BalconySpeech: Soldum breaks tradition and addresses his people in the midway point of Mugen Kairo to spur them on to help Lily counter attack a planet busting laser of all things. It works.
* TheCavalry: Despite being the king of the capital planet of their home dimension of NEUE, Seldar consistently became the main political hostage in the two takeovers it suffered during Zettai Ryoiki and Mugen Kairo. Thus, the advanced militarized fleet never got to see combat. This is until the final quarter of Eigou Kaiki where after the Luxiole's ineffective fight against the Will god, Herea, Soldum arrives personally with his planet's fleet to finally have the chance to fight for the safety of NEUE.
* ChivalrousPervert: Was apparently one during his youth if his reputation as [[spoiler: Stanley]] is anything to go by accounts from Masara and Grog.
* TheGoodKing: Aside from apparently being a womanizer during his youth, Soldum exemplifies an incredibly kind-hearted and stalwart king who seeks to protect his planet and people above all else. Dieta was previously acquainted with Kahlua where they both attended the same academy for magic.

* SurprisinglySuddenDeath: Dieta refuses to abandon her vessel after her defeat at Magiic in Chapter 5. Despite Tequila's protests for her to escape, Dieta accepts her fate rather well.
* UnknownRival: Dieta sees Tequila as this as it was the outcome of their duel that had Tequila ascend to become a member of the Twelve, Magiic's 12 most powerful mages. Dieta shortly left the planet has been bitter about this incident ever since. Tequila didn't think it was that big of a deal, a notion that angers Dieta even more.

[[folder:Verel]]
!!!'''Voiced by:''' Creator/{{Mugihito}}

The last surviving member of the original inhabitants of ABSOLUTE. Verel was originally discovered by Tact's expedition crew 4 years prior to Galaxy Angel II's start within the Central Globe. Verel was freed from his stasis and discovered that he was the only one of his species seemingly left in the facility with no understanding as to why he was kept there. Verel willingly ceded the Central Globe's facilities for the EDEN explorers to utilize and was promptly relegated to the sidelines as the NEUE Survey Campaign and the Rune Angel Wing Recruitment began.
----
* FaceHeelTurn: Was initially introduced in an incredibly short flashback as a cooperative individual who welcomed the Elsior's crew to the Central Globe before starting to justify his delusions of grandeur offscreen.

!!The Three Marquis
[[folder:In General]]
The three regents of the Arms Alliance serving as retainers to the Duke of Izayoi. The Three Marquis represent each of the three planets that make up their civilization, Cudgel, Pike, and Hatchet. Around half a year after Verel's attempted takeover of ABSOLUTE, the Arms Alliance entered Seldar space after decades of exile to wage war on Seldar and its allies, conquering the nearby planets as well as the planet itself without any resistance using technology far more advanced than thought to be capable of their civilization. The Three Marquis personally issue a challenge to the Luxiole and the Rune Angel Wing to face them in combat, and if they should refuse or try to run away, they threaten to destroy a planet. They consistently refer to their deeds as all "part of the game" to obtain "the key" and reveal that they are working under their own set of rules similar to the challenges they issue to the Luxiole and the Rune Angel Wing.
----
* AristocratsAreEvil: Given their positions as Marquis, par for the course.
* BrainComputerInterface: [[spoiler: In their last battle against the Rune Angel Wing, each of the Three Marquis are punished for their previous failures by having their consciences merged with their flagships to fight one last time. Should they succeed, they will be granted safe passage home, but if they should fail, they will die as machines. Has the added benefit of giving them much more control over their warships.]]
* EdibleThemeNaming: All three names originate from French alcoholic beverages. Calvados is a brandy made from apples and pears, Benedictine an herbal liquor, and Genievres is a juniper flavored beverage.
* ExpyCoexistence: To the Hell Hounds of the first game. While being advertised as the BigBad of Mugen Kairo, the Three Marquis are actually pawns of a larger villain. While being treated as serious threats, their personalities are a lot less threatening. While ever so slightly more serious as villains as the Hell Hounds, who make ample opportunity to talk smack to the Angels, the Three Marquis are recorruing villains who gloat more than they trash-talk. Most notably, they end up sharing a similarly dark fate as both groups end up [[spoiler: integrating with their ships by orders of their benefactor.]]
* {{Mooks}}: [[spoiler: Despite their prominence and even some gratuitous shots of them in the opening, they are revealed to be pawns to a larger villain. Although part of their villainy was fueled by wanting to exact revenge against Seldar, the other was the gift of advanced technology promised by aforementioned BigBad.]]
* SmugSnake: All three of them are incredibly full of themselves and gloat about their own superior chances of success compared to the other two Marquis before being unceremoniously made fools of by their defeat by the Rune Angel Wing.
* TerribleTrio: Genievres is treated a bit more seriously as he has personal connections to one of the characters on the good side. The trio also characterize a SpeedSmartsAndStrength dynamic as each of their flagships have different attributes that reflect their personality. Calvados' ship is the fastest, Benedictine has the most armor, and Genievres has the most firepower.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: In the eyes of the Three Marquis, particularly Genievres, they have an enormous chip on their shoulder from their ancestors being exiled from Seldar and one of their goals in the conflict was to bring retribution onto those who forced them out. However, Genievres was absolutely willing to bombard the planet to take as many civilians down with him.
* YouHaveFailedMe: On the receiving end of this after they lose four, later five, consecutive battles against the Rune Angel Wing.

[[folder:Genievres Hatchet]]

The regent of the Hatchet, the capital planet of the Arms Alliance. He was previously Princess Natsume's caretaker. He is the de-facto leader of the Three Marquis given his association to the capital Arms Alliance planet of Hatchet and relation to the royal family. Genievres is formally encountered on Magiic.
----
* AntiMagic: Genievres' speciality, a product of his [[spoiler: magically gifted lineage that was thought to have been exterminated by the Arms Alliance themselves. He has kept this fact hidden for most of his life.]]
* EvenEvilCanBeLoved: Genievres, despite his bloodthirst, is still characterized as the most sympathetic Marquis due to his connection to Natsume as her former caretaker who she cares about. Even after everything he's done, Natsume was still willing to save him.
* EvilFormerFriend: He was once Natsume's only friend and confidant. He is one of the Three Marquis who act as the villains for the majority of Mugen Kairo and willingly manipulates Natsume into some politically complex situations that justify their acts against the Seldar Alliance. Despite of all this, Natsume still had a difficult time seeing him as an enemy.
* EyesAlwaysShut: Genievres' default expression has him with his eyes closed, quickly alluding to his nature.
* FantasticRacism: Applied to Genievres' heritage who were capable of wielding magic, which was seen as an abominable trait in the Arms Alliance, which led to their extermination.
* GracefulLoser: He mellows out after he and his fellow Marquis are bested and takes his impending doom in stride.
* HimeCut: Male example. He's a marquis with blunt bangs, chin-length sidelocks, and very long straight hair falling down his back.
* KickTheDog: Genievres calls Natsume a stupid brat and reveals his and the other Marquis' treachery about how they used her to create a political timebomb as an excuse to wage war. He also tells her that his time spent as her caretaker were all completely meaningless to him. [[spoiler: About half of this is true.]]
* LongHairedPrettyBoy: He's a feminine-looking man with light blue hair that reaches past his back.
* ParentalSubstitute: As Natsume's caretaker, he was the closest thing to a father figure she had.
* ThePrettyGuysAreStronger: Genievres' extra characterization and spotlight squarely puts him as the head honcho for the Three Marquis despite the three keeping the airs of respecting each other's authority. Genievres is notably the only one who actually has utilized a personal skill of his on and off combat with his [[spoiler: magic]].
* TamperingWithFoodAndDrink: Genievres was victim of this back when he was Natsume's attendant. An unknown party tried to poison Natsume and Genievres tested the food that was to be served to her and he ended up taking the poison for her. According to Natsume, Genievres suffered for at least 3 days from the poison.
* VoiceOfTheLegion: Genievres invokes this through Kahlua when his [[spoiler:consciousness is forcibly merged with his flagship and he is only able to communicate with the heroes by utilizing his magic. Kahlua allows Genievres' voice to speak through her and the effect is both her voice and his speaking at once during this.]]

----
* DirtyCoward: The opposite end of Benedictine's conniving nature. His flagship is the one with the most hitpoints among the three and his remaining strategy when the Rune Angel Wing flank his position is to recall all of his forward troops back to defend him.
* EyesOutOfSight: He wears a pair of glasses that obscure his eyes.
* {{Schemer}}: Benedictine is considered an incredibly resourceful and scrupulous tactician whose favorite strategy is to field as many ambushes and vanguard forces he has to never have to deal with the enemy himself.
* SnakesAreSinister: Has a live pale snake coiled around his shoulders that is never really brought up by anyone.
