* DumbassHasAPoint: It's only made in hindsight, but when even Michaelangelo thinks Anna getting engaged to Hans the day they met was a stupid call, it's clear that she made a really bad decision.
* TheNicknamer: Michaelangelo often attempts to nickname their enemies, such as attempting to name Dredd, the head of the Night Blade assassins, "Head Blade", or re-naming Marshmallow "Snowliath" (although his suggestion of "Scorpi-Duke" for the mutated Duke of Weselton seems to have been accepted). In ''Into the Unknown'', he is the one to name the wind spirit "Gale" rather than Olaf, and calls the Nokk "Neptune" due to its ties to Poseidon in mythology, although Donatello and Elsa name the Earth Spirit "Fuji" after they find it later.

----
*InterspeciesRomance: Ends up forming a relationship with Elsa.
*TheLeader: As in canon, Leo is this for the Turtles as a whole.

----
*InterspeciesRomance: Forms a bond with the alien warrior Mona Lisa.
*YouAreBetterThanYouThinkYouAre: In Into the Unknown, Raphael basically gets this speech from the Fifth Spirit when the turtles are contacted by each of the elemental spirits, the spirit assuring Raphael that he has learnt to channel his anger to protect others.

*DumbassHasAPoint: It’s only made in hindsight, but when even Michaelangelo thinks Anna getting engaged to Hans the day they met was a stupid call, it’s clear that she made a really bad decision.

In Into the Unknown, he is the one to name the wind spirit "Gale" rather than Olaf, and calls the Nokk "Neptune" due to its ties to Poseidon in mythology, although Donatello and Elsa name the Earth Spirit "Fuji" after they find it later.

----
*BadassBookworm: Even with the expanded family of the Arendelle royals, Donatello is still the smartest person in the group.
*GeniusBruiser: As in many versions, Donnie is the smartest of the Turtles but a dangerous opponent in a fight.
*InterspeciesRomance: As in canon, Donatello is interested in a relationship with April.
*TheMentor: A low-key example of this, as he ends up giving Anna some instruction in science during their time in space.

----
*BewareTheNiceOnes: When Elsa is sufficiently enraged, she [[spoiler:manages to freeze an entire planet in eternal winter]].
*CombatPragmatist: By the time of ''Into the Unknown'', Elsa has developed enough combat experience to be considered this, such as catching an opponent off-guard by freezing the ground to make her enemy slip.
*GodzillaThreshold: In Frozen Turtles in Space, [[spoiler:Lord Dregg pushes Elsa so far that she condemns his entire planet to an eternal winter, and even Anna has no problem with them inflicting such a fate on Dregg's people after everything he's done]].
*KungFuWizard: Elsa grows into this as the storyline goes on, mixing up blasts of ice magic with ice weapons like katanas and gauntlets.
*TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: ''Frozen Turtles'' in Space sees Elsa [[spoiler:basically deliver one to the Triceratron Commander Zanmoran when she realises that she froze his heart earlier, as she informs Zanmoran that she couldn't 'fix' him even if she wanted to as only an act of true love could thaw a frozen heart and she can think of nobody who would ever love a monster like Zanmoran enough to pull that off]].
*TookALevelInBadass: Elsa was already powerful due to her powers, but lessons with the Turtles give her a fair knowledge of hand-to-hand combat, and she learns to use her powers in more varied ways than just lashing out and hoping to hit something.

----
*CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Anna starts out with limited knowledge of combat, but at one point she manages to incapacitate Bebop and trick Rocksteady into knocking himself out by provoking him to charge into a statue. At the same time, she was able to sneak around a Foot Clan base just as well as the Turtles.
*DidntThinkThisThrough: Anna falls victim to this on a fairly regular basis, such as when she grabs a sword when confronted by Rahzar without taking into account that she doesn’t know how to use it.
*GuysSmashGirlsShoot: As the least skilled fighter of the group (apart from Olaf, for obvious reasons), Anna tends to join in fights by using stolen Kraang weapons.
*HiddenDepths: While Anna comes from a more primitive culture, she’s often the Arendelle resident who’s quickest to understand the higher science behind the Turtles and their enemies. During their time in space, Anna even serves as Donatello’s unofficial assistant as he’s analysing alien technology.

----
*WackyMarriageProposal: Kristoff is shown contemplating using one of these in Into the Unknown, but Splinter (who Kristoff asked for advice as the only person in their social circle who's been married) advises him to keep it simple as Anna would appreciate the gesture more than anything else.

----
*AdaptationalSpeciesChange: While he starts out as a standard reindeer, [[spoiler:exposure to mutagen turns Sven into a humanoid being capable of thought and speech]].

----
*{{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Olaf, to the point that he spent time walking through a battlefield waving at Kraang and giving them names (albeit just numbers, but he at least believed he could tell them apart).
*ComicallyMissingThePoint: In ''Into the Unknown'', Olaf assumes that the Northuldan people and Arendelle soldiers they encounter are shocked that he isn't wearing clothes rather than realising that they're shocked that he exists in the first place. Later, when Rahzar threatens to eat his and Mikey's bones, Olaf simply points out that he doesn't have bones rather than respond to the original threat.
*GoodCannotComprehendEvil: Olaf is so incapable of comprehending how bad Shredder is that he suggests giving the villain a hug until he actually meets their enemy directly and sees how terrifying he is. This is taken to a further level in ''Into the Unknown'' when Olaf witnesses the mutated Shredder freely admit his role in the death of Tang Shen and nearly beat Karai to death, the innocent snowman obviously traumatised and unable to comprehend the idea that anyone could do that to their daughter.
*NoSell: Olaf is immune to most mind-reading methods as he doesn’t have a brain.

----
*AnArmAndALeg: In Into the Unknown, [[spoiler:during the final battle with Shredder, Splinter loses an arm before he’s killed]]
*HeroicSacrifice: In Into the Unknown, [[spoiler:Splinter basically attempts one when he charges Super Shredder, but although Splinter dies Shredder survives]].
*ParentalSubstitute: In the course of their time together, the Arendelle royals in particular come to see Splinter as a father figure, such as Kristoff asking for his advice on how to propose. Ultimately, [[spoiler:after Splinter’s death, Elsa erects a memorial for Splinter next to the graves of her own parents, affirming that he was a father to the royals as well as the Turtles]].

----
*EmpoweredBadassNormal: Karai is a trained ninja from her youth but she can also transform into a snake-like form.
*IKnowYoureInThereSomewhereFight: When Karai first loses control of her snake-self, Anna attempts to do this for her, but Splinter has to step in as Anna doesn’t know Karai well enough.

*BerserkButton: Leatherhead flies into a rage when anyone mentions the Kraang, much to Anna’s regret when she unwittingly provokes it.
*GentleGiant: Leatherhead is a particular example of this, the royals quickly bonding with him despite his ferocious appearance.
*HeroOfAnotherStory: The Mutanimals are brought to Arendelle to assist against the Foot.
*InsufferableGenius: Rockwell comes across as this with his insistence that he’s smarter than Donatello.

*DrunkOnTheDarkSide: Into the Unknown sees April fall victim to the influence of her Aeon crystal, [[spoiler:before Elsa manages to trick the possessing spirit into leaving April’s body so she can kill it]].

*TeamNormal: Casey is the only New York ally of the Hamato clan to be totally human, with everyone else either mutants or enhanced humans.

[[spoiler:

----
*AttackItsWeakPoint: In the final battle, [[spoiler:Elsa realises the mutated Shredder still has a heart, giving them something to focus on when attacking him]].
*BadassNormal: Even when only human, Shredder manages to hold his own against the Turtles, Karai, Elsa and Anna all at once.
*TheCorruptor: Shredder had plans to be this for Elsa, but she was rescued before he could do more than talk about his plans to force her to become his weapon.
*TheDreaded: It doesn’t take long for Shredder to establish this kind of reputation in Arendelle; after seeing how skilled the Turtles are at hand-to-hand combat, it is naturally disturbing for the Arendelle royal family to learn that Shredder nearly killed them in his first confrontation with them. During ''Into the Unknown'', the entire cast show fear when they receive confirmation that Shredder is still alive.
*FaceDeathWithDignity: In the final battle, [[spoiler:Shredder calmly looks at Elsa and Leonardo after they deliver fatal wounds and compliments their attack with his LastWords]].
*MotiveDecay: The Shredder starts off wanting to kill the Turtles and their friends to eliminate a threat to his criminal empire and his own personal power. By the climax of ''Into the Unknown'', all he wants is [[spoiler:kill them and everyone else in both worlds]]. Even his minions are disturbed by the change in attitude.
*SelfServingMemory: By ''Into the Unknown'', Shredder's vendetta against Splinter has reached the point that he's convinced himself that Splinter killed Tang Shen and stole Miwa from him, even though Shredder was the one responsible for both those crimes. [[spoiler:He overcomes this 'delusion' in Ahtohallan, but simply uses his new epiphany to abandon any remaining humanity]].
*ThenLetMeBeEvil: The best description of Shredder's attitude in ''Into the Unknown''; while [[spoiler:meditating at Ahtohallan, he is forced to acknowledge that he basically invented reasons to hate Splinter and warped his own memories of his actions regarding Tang Shen and Karai to make himself the victim rather than the villain, but ultimately decides that he can live with that in the name of power, proclaiming himself the Spirit of Death just as Elsa is the representation of the Spirit of Life]].
*VillainTakesAnInterest: After learning about Elsa's powers, Shredder becomes interested in trying to harness them himself. Initially, he tries to get Elsa herself to join him, but once it's made clear that she never will, he instead becomes obsessed with trying to gain her powers for himself. [[spoiler:When he becomes Super Shredder, he succeeds in infusing himself with mutagen programmed with Elsa’s DNA, and becomes far more dangerous]].

Added DiffLines:

*AnArmAndALeg: Loses one arm in the final confrontations in Northuldra.

Added DiffLines:

*ItWorksBetterWithBullets: The turtles and Anna are amused that Baxter Stockman tried to attack them with only one grenade on his first assault on Arendelle, prompting Anna to muse that Stockman clearly isn’t their smartest enemy.
*SmallNameBigEgo: When Baxter Stockman first appears in Arendelle, he tries to present himself as the Turtles’ arch-nemesis, but they can’t even get his name right and Michaelangelo muses that they have nemeses ‘way more archer than him’. When he attempts to proclaim himself the Shredder's deadliest henchman in a later confrontation, the Mutanimals point out that when Shredder has Rocksteady, Bebop and Rahzar in his service, even Fishface is scarier than Stockman.

Added DiffLines:

*DiesDifferentlyInTheAdaptation: The Rat King is shown to have survived his canonical death in Season Two (although WordOfGod notes that all of the Rat King’s appearances were written before it was known that the character was dead already), but [[spoiler:dies in Northuldra]].

Added DiffLines:

*ImAHumanitarian: Suggested; when the two groups find the ship Elsa and Anna’s parents were on when they disappeared, Rahzar asks if there are any bones for him to gnaw.
*KilledOffForReal: In ''Into the Unknown'', [[spoiler:Leatherhead drowns Rahzar to stop him killing Anna]].

Added DiffLines:

*EvenEvilHasStandards: Explicitly questions what the point of the Shredder’s vendetta is after a certain point, wondering what they would actually do after the Hamato Clan are dead.

Added DiffLines:

*AssholeVictim: Nobody is particularly sorry after [[spoiler:Hans is killed by the Shredder]].
*BigBadWannabe: Hans is ruthless and ambitious, but compared to Shredder he’s a rank amateur at best.
*NotSoSimilar: Hans compares himself and Shredder on their first meeting as people who seek power despite the opposition of others, but Shredder makes it clear later that he disagrees with that assessment, as Hans was born a prince with all the accompanying status where Shredder had to fight for everything and has earned his reputation.
*TheSociopath: Hans is strongly implied to be this, to the point that he wonders if the way he reacts to the Shredder’s threats is what ‘fear’ is.

Added DiffLines:

*AdaptationalBadass: The Duke actually becomes a physical threat when exposure to mutagen turns him into a part-scorpion mutant.
