* NotSoStoic: Well, Sayuri had always been quite emotional, but she had a particularly notable moment when [[spoiler: Saribash tried to go off to kill Ven as Lira appeared to have died from TakingTheBullet for Ven - Sayuri called Saribash out for recklessly trying to act, stating that getting himself killed would only make his daughter Lira more sad. This like had something to do with her relationship with her own father [[MarriedToTheJob Frederick]] [[SecretChaser Lancaster]]]].

* MeaningfulName: He nicknamed his wanzer '''Nouko''', which is a type of [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nouka_Baich traditional Bengali rowing sport boat].

!People's Republic of Alordesh

* KickTheSonOfABitch: [[spoiler: He killed Gwianda as the latter was trying to flee with FENRIR, and Gwianda was the one who ordered the Dhaka bombing and basically framing Ven for it]].

* TankGoodness: Somewhat oddly, he's usually seen driving tanks whenever he appeared as an enemy unit, and wasn't seen in wanzers until [[spoiler: after he joined Lisa's team and deserted]].

* OneHitKill: [[spoiler: His unique battle skill "Blast Blow". It could be used with any single hit weapon (in [[CloseRangeCombatant his case]], it would most likely be melee weapon), and made it such that any part hit by the said attack will be destroyed instantly]].

* BloodKnight: Cordy seemed to genuinely enjoy fighting in the arena. She got... a bit excited when told that there was an arena in [[spoiler: the town near Rimian]].

* BadassInANiceSuit: Pike's nice suit didn't make him any less dangerous as a wanzer pilot. In fact, the first time he appeared, Ash even commented on how strange it was for some man in suit to be probing around for info on a military ship, surrounded by OCU soldiers who had just escaped from Alordesh.

* NervesOfSteel: For starter, he actually managed to ''smile'' even when [[spoiler: Amia had to do an emergency landing when flying him, Ash, and Joyce into Alordesh]].

* TagAlongKid: Well, she's technically an adult during the main events of ''2'', but her impulsivity ([[RedOniBlueOni compared to the more cool-headed Lisa]]) and somewhat childlike physique gave her this vibe. Thomas even {{Lampshaded}} this by calling her "girly".

* KilledOffForReal: [[spoiler: After the Alordeshi army bombed Dhaka, wiping out the OCU forces stationed in the city, Hordman was said to have gone missing. He was most likely killed in the bombing]].

* ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill: His unique battle skill "2LV damage". It allowed him to deal an amount of damage (using melee weapon) proportional to his levels. At the highest level, it could easily deal more than enough damage to destroy a regular enemy's body part in a single hit.

* ChivalrousPervert: He made it ''very'' clear that he's romantically interested in Amia, but he never did anything that crossed the line, and was very courteous towards her.

* RapidFireFisticuffs: His unique battle skill "MG Blow" in a nutshell. This skill allowed him to punch enemy for up to '''4''' times in a single attack, and unlike "Beat Up", didn't require him to have melee weapons on both hands. This could easily lead to an OneHitKill on a regular enemy.

* ExtremeDoormat: At times. Rocky was fully able to take care of himself in a fight. But for much of the story, he just followed Thomas and Roswell around, going along with whatever the latter two were up to, and often [[TheQuietOne quietly]], thus giving off this impression. [[spoiler: He did get to play a [[ADayInTheLimelight focal role]] during the secret mission, in which the Dull Stags hunted down Royd, who had killed Rocky's old friend Gleny]].

* TheQuietOne: Rocky was one of the less talkative members of the main cast. Most of them he was even less talkatie then [[TheQuietOne Ash]], using only his facial expressions to give hints of what he's feeling.

* TrueCompanions: With Thomas and Roswell.

* TheAce: Thomas apppeared to be a very capable military commander, seeing that he served as the tactical leader for [[spoiler: the eventual Burg Transportation team, which already consisted of highly talented individuals such as Ash and Lisa]].

* BoisterousBruiser: He has a bulky build and is a strong Striker-class pilot. Meanwhile, many of his lines had him laughing. Somewhat subverted in that he's more malicious than typical examples of this trope.

* RedOniBlueOni: At times the Blue to Saribash's Red. There were several instances where Saribash got emotional, only for Thomas to try to calm him. E.g., [[spoiler: after the Dhaka bombing which killed a large number of civilians, the Burg Transportation captured Ven, and Saribash (understandably) started shouting at Ven for (presumably) ordering the bombing. Thomas, meanwhile, tried to calm Saribash down]].

* StoutStrength
