Granny Smith is the only parental figure Applejack and her siblings have. * BrokenAce: Often plays this in her spotlight episodes. She's incredibly gifted and relied on frequently by the rest of Ponyville; because of this she cannot take failing someone even in the most understandable of circumstances, and works herself ragged trying to please everyone above her capabilities. Similar to Rainbow Dash, her arrogance can perk up and hinder things at times as well.

* BadassAdorable: In a BadassNormal sort of way. While as an Earth Pony she lacks the flashier abilities (most notably magic-usage and flight) most of her other Pony friends have, she's still a competent CuteBruiser who bravely fights by their side.

* SuperStrenght: As an earth pony, she naturally has this ability but her years of hard work on the farm have made her much, much more powerful than an average one. That being said, she still isn't quite as strong as her older brother.

* KickChick: Granted she is a pony, but she uses her kick far more than anyone else, especially when she knocks apples off of the trees on her farm.
