When Shinra succumbs to UnstoppableRage against the Evangelist, allowing her to cover the Earth in Adolla's black flames, Arther, still adrift in Space above [[MakesJustAsMuchSenseInContext somehow]] restores his missing body parts, recovers his blade hilt and uses it to unleash a SwordBeam from space that [[GetAholdofYourSelfMan smacks some sense into Shinra in the depths of the Adolla realm]], punctuated by his screaming "You Fool!!!" at the top of his lungs. Once Shinra restores his resolve to overcome the Evangelist and her nihilistic outlook, Arthur starts talking to his blade hilt, which responds back with '[[{{Catchphrase}} Fool]]', with Arthur commenting that weapons bound to strong feelings would gain a soul from the experience. Notably, Excalibur's hilt bares a resemblance to Excalibur's face from a side-on profile at this point]].

This only gets Rekka angry and she is shortly brutalized, with Rekka kicking and stomping on her until she's reduced to weakly pleading for help as he prepares to burn her alive for her defiance. Understandably, after Shinra saves her and asks if she's alright, her response is to burst into tears and shake her head.]]

* HeroicSelfDeprecation: Following the second mission to the Nether where she had to be rescued after barely managing to protect a grievously injured Juggernaut until help arrived, it's revealed that in spite of her crewmen in the Special Fire Force truly believing her to be a valuable ally, Tamaki's opinion of herself is incredibly poor due to a multitude of factors. Her Lucky Lecher Lure caused her to be bullied and to avoid others out of fear it would bother them, she lacked any real motive for undergoing sister training and joining the Fire Force beyond just wanting to do what everyone else did, and she sees herself as TheLoad due to being rescued and getting carried by others on multiple occasions. It takes her reflecting on all of these hang-ups and remembering Shinra's prior urging to respect herself more to snap herself out of this and cement her resolve to be a DamselOutOfDistress.

This ranges from calling his sword "Excalibur", calling himself a "knight king", Company's 8 HQ a "castle" and Iris as the castle's princess. Maki is dubbed an "ogre" after she kicks his butt in sparing. Of course, it is a knight's duty to fight monsters (typically whatever birds or small lizards happen to be nearby, which he mistakes for griffins and dragons) and protect the populace.

* CryCute: After being saved by Shinra, her bottled emotions about the situation come out as she cries on the spot.
