As servants of the Einzberns, they know perfectly well about Illya's role in the aborted Grail War ritual, and Sella in particular is constantly worried that Illya has secretly gotten herself in some sort of trouble. Her concern is ''very'' merited.

As a consequence of being bound to a Class Card, he is less powerful than normal -- not that this is saying much since circumstances conspire to [[OneWingedAngel re-empower him anyway]], but even the monstrous form he takes is beatable. It's played straighter when he is separated from his Class Card post-incarnation, depriving him of most of his treasures until he retrieves it.
* AllYourPowersCombined: As always, he brings Gate of Babylon with him. And with it, every Noble Phantasm that originated on earth.
* BadassAdorable: He's still incredibly powerful even after being reduced to a cute kid, going toe-to-toe with numerous Ainsworth servants and being noticeably less arrogant.
* BerserkButton: Like ''VisualNovel/FateStayNight'', use his Noble Phantasms against him and he will let you know how angry he is. ''Especially'' Enkidu; he was at least slightly amused at Angelica using his own techniques against him, but once Enkidu hit the field, he made it very clear she was going to ''suffer''.
* {{BFS}}: He holds a ''massive'' sword in his vault. Illya manages to break it and it remains broken after its second appearance. Naturally, as he owns every weapon ever comprehended by man and then some, he has a figuratively infinite number of giant swords.
* BroughtDownToBadass: He has several instances of DePower in effect in this series: he's the equivalent of a Blackened Servant, he becomes half-incarnated into younger form, and after the final battle of ''2wei'' he's lost most of his treasury. It all does little to detract from the fact that ''he's goddamn Gilgamesh'' and spends the majority of his fight scenes stomping the enemy instead of getting stomped himself.
* ChainPain: Is even more proficient with Enkidu than his mainstream counterpart, trapping Angelica in a sphere made from chains before attempting to skewer her. When she breaks out of that he then wraps Enkidu around the dozens of weapons she summons before throwing them back at her.
* ChangedMyMindKid: Not intentionally though. [[spoiler:Tanaka goads Gilgamesh into saving Illya after Miyu's world is wiped out, wanting him to see what this unfortunate little girl would do at the end of the world. Gilgamesh grants Illya one wish to that end, whatever she wants -- and she simply asks him to help her fix this mess. Tanaka wanted to show Gilgamesh that [[PluckyGirl even faced with the world's end, Illya hasn't given up]], and with his "wish" he's effectively shot his own neutrality and joined her side in earnest. * DiscardAndDraw: It used to be a Berserker card, but changed into Rider because of Beatrice's resolve. While Beatrice can no longer use Mjölnir, she is now able to summon Gullfaxi, which she initially couldn't do while under the Berserker Class.
* HeroicRROD: Perhaps unsurprisingly, a Heroic Spirit tampering with their own Class isn't good for their Spirit Origin. The Magni Card was set on a timer as soon as it changed from Berserker to Rider; once Beatrice uses up the rest of Gullfaxi's power, the Class Card shatters.
* LoopholeAbuse: Mjölnir's lightning in Magni's previous Berserker form consumed the user's memories. Gullfaxi, a horse made of that same lightning, can hold onto those memories. It's thanks to this happy coincidence that Beatrice retains her memories of Illya despite the RetGone, and uses it to help everyone else remember.
* ShockAndAwe: Even without Mjölnir, Mani has a connection to lightning due to Gullfaxi being a gift from Thor.
