* TheLawOfDiminishingDefensiveEffort: When utilizing the Norns' power over fate to NoSell attacks, Moriarty doesn't even bother to block or dodge. Onlookers take notice that attacks ''hit'' him, but there's no effect, and at least one person who strikes him feels no impact upon doing so. When Mash arrives at the end of the Singularity and strikes him, Moriarty stands there utterly confident it'll be the same, only to be left shocked when her hit connects and knocks him backwards, which is the point he finally gets serious and [[GameplayAndStoryIntegration goes up in his Ascensions]].

* WindsOfDestinyChange: He weaponizes his connection with the Norns to weave fate to always favor him, allowing him to dodge through attacks without a hitch. This all stops once he has defeated Holmes, though. As Moriarty's fate ends in his battle with Holmes by the Reichenbach waterfall, Holmes dying while falling down a waterfall means that his own fate is told and thus cannot be written further. While he is able to use his powers still after, Viy's unique powers allow Mash to NoSell the advantage.

** Finally, he accepts Kadoc's demands that he fight Chaldea for real to see if he'll accept his proposal. Not only does Moriarty not think that Chaldea may have the power to defeat him, he forgets Kadoc has rejected his offer ''several times'' before this. He never thought Kadoc would fake interest in working with him nor that Kadoc would ask for Viy to help ensure his loss. It's so bad that his older self has to point out that he didn't think about Kadoc helping Chaldea.

* LogicalWeakness: As Moriarty's fate ended in the death of Holmes by the Reichenbach waterfall, Holmes dying by the riverside ultimately screws over Moriarty's WindsOfDestinyChange powers as Moriarty's fate concludes in that moment, and therefore, makes him unable to change his fate from that moment.

* CessationOfExistence: "Parting Memories' Manifestation Realm, Traum" states that due to being the UnPerson in history, Johanna is unable to be summoned in Proper Human History, a fact that motivates Konstantinos to fight on her behalf. This means that should the Singularity be destroyed, Johanna effectively ceases to exist as a Servant on account of not existing in the Throne of Heroes. * ClapYourHandsIfYouBelieve: Johanna's devotion as a pope is strong enough that, as a Servant, her prayers and faith allow her to bestow what appear as miracles to those she prays for. She demonstrates this by taking to the battlefield and walking close enough that the Righteous Realm forces are able to attack her, but none of their attacks hit due to her faith that she will be protected. This makes her a dangerous foe to deal with because she can provide support and strength to those around her.
* ConflictingLoyalty: Despite being technically a Proper Human History Servant, she's not exactly happy learning she was a fictional being only meant to be used negatively and resents PHH for that. However, she doesn't feel right going against it, even if she feels upset about how she was treated by history. This causes a lot of guilt on her end because she knows she should be saving PHH but also wants to belong and be happy.

[[spoiler:''Traum'' reveals that he was the first Disciple of the Foreign God and one of his roles is to betray Chaldea. * NunTooHoly: Johanna is pretty similar to Martha in that regard, minus the appreciation for fisticuffs. She is as kind-hearted as they come, but people regularly point out that her personality (cheerful, spunky and confrontational) is nothing like one would expect. And considering that her identity was only revealed because she gave birth, it can be assumed that she also didn't hold true to her vow of chastity.

Wait, Pope Joan never actually existed and this entry makes it sound like she didn't exist in the setting either, so she can't be an Un Person. Tulpa would be more appropriate.

Because the Nasuverse applies AllMythsAreTrue though, Johanna technically doesn't exist in Proper Human History, and cannot be summoned as a Servant due to that fact. The playable Johanna is created from a multitude of prayers, and her profile acknowledges that she is a fictional existence.

** Some of the ones that are not (as is arguably the case with Quetzalcoatl, Astraea and Caren) likely became so due to the cultural amalgamation of [[{{UsefulNotes/Christianity}} Catholic]] imagery and European/Latin iconography at large. This also possibly applies to Leonardo da Vinci (as much of classical Renaissance iconography--which reinvigorated Catholic cultural influence) springs in part from their works.

* ItWasAGift: Her longsword she uses in her Noble Phantasm was a gift to her from her rival Takeda Harunobu for providing salt to his domain in its time of need. Interestingly, this means the Noble Phantasm conceptually belongs to both of them, which comes in handy during the story.
