* DissonantSerenity: Wears a PsychoticSmirk on his face during the heat of battle against titans like the Celestial Spirit King, to skilled warriors like the Twin Dragons.

* LeotardOfPower: And a very revealing one at that. It's later replaced by an even more {{Stripperific}} outfit, complete with BareYourMidriff and even ''more'' NavelDeepNeckline, after her old outfit is broken off by Mard Geer's torture.

* BlindObedience: He wants to kill Zeref not because he hates him, but because he knows Zeref created him for that very purpose. He's completely broken when he's unable to fulfill his once purpose for living.

* DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu?: He ended up doing this to Atlas Flame's spirit to a degree on the assumption he was a demon, even though the being he attacked was a dragon. Normally this wouldn't apply to a demon, but it turns out he's simply human.

* {{Bishonen}}: As if he weren't enough of one of the series' defining examples of a LongHairedPrettyBoy, his Japanese and English voice actors are experts at the {{Bishonen}} role.

* SomethingAboutARose: He's a hardcore {{Bishonen}}, and his main weapons are a spam of thorny vines. Bonus points for even referring to Cube as "his garden".

* BeastMan: His original appearance and [[OneWingedAngel Etherious form]] is a hulking man with a lion-like face and mane. Lummy doesn't like this, so when he needs to be resurrected, she turns him into a full-on DarkSkinnedBlonde {{Bishonen}} in his base form.

* {{Bishonen}}: His second body is this in spades, as invoked by Lummy.

* DarkSkinnedBlond: In his second body.

* RuleOfSexy: In-universe example; Lummy says this was her reason behind turning him into a [[{{Bishonen}} drop-dead gorgeous]] DarkSkinnedBlonde (while shamelessly fawning over him).

* SortingAlgorithmOfEvil: The last part of the Balam Alliance to appear, and by far the most dangerous. Grimoire Heart was more infamous, but mostly because they were more visible as a dark guild. Their battle also leaves Fairy Tail with physical and emotional scars that would over a year to completely heal

* BalefulPolymorph: After surviving the destruction of Hell's Core, he turns into a tiny parasitic mushroom creature that is [[SleepModeSize significantly cuter and more harmless]] than his usual form.

* TokenGoodTeammate: While not actually good like Silver, Torafuzar is significantly less evil then in comparison to the rest of his fellow Demon Gates due to having a sense of honor and a dislike of needless cruelty.

* AbsoluteCleavage: Virtually her entire chest is bare. Her second outfit is full-blown VaporWear. And then she goes into her [[OneWingedAngel Etherious Form]], which sees her wearing even ''less''.

* AbsoluteCleavage: Virtually her entire chest is bare. Taken up to eleven with her second outfit, which is full-blown VaporWear. And then she goes into her [[OneWingedAngel Etherious Form]], which sees her wearing even ''less''.

* TopHeavyGuy: His arms are so large that his hands lie flat on the ground when at rest. UpToEleven in his Etherious Form, having a PrimalStance when not submerged in water.

* TheCheerleader: Reduced to this in his powerless mushroom form, rooting for Tartaros's remaining forces.

* WorldsStrongestMan: He’s the strongest demon in the Tartaros guild second only to E.N.D. in power and his Curse power is so immense, it was enough to scar Kyôka. Mard Geer is strong enough to fight evenly with the Celestial Spirit King, who’s stated to be the strongest Celestial Spirit. During the battle between Fairy Tail and Tartaros he delivers a CurbStompBattle to the Dragon Slayers Sting and Rogue by toying with them, in his Etherius form which Mard Geer at his strongest was able to contend with Natsu and Gray, and his most powerful Curse technique was powerful enough to everything in its wake, it’s stated that not even Zeref can survive it.

* DarthVaderClone: He's a villain with a BadassCape and is [[LukeIAmYourFather revealed to be Gray's father]], in addition to being ReforgedIntoAMinion by Keyes. He also tries pulling a ThatManIsDead on Gray, claiming that he's really Deliora, but that turns out to be a bluff since he really wanted Gray to kill him and once he's dead, he [[HeelFaceTurn passes his Ice Devil Slayer Magic on to Gray to task him with defeating E.N.D.]] He can also be considered a DarkLordOnLifeSupport since it's Keyes' magic which keeps him alive and once Keyes is gone, he too will die.

* PeekABangs: His hair covers an entire half of his face.

* ShoutOut: His epithet and attacks refer to the five greatest Japanese swords: Dôjigiri, Onimaru, Juzumaru, Odenta and Mikazuki. Except for Odenta, all others were quoted.
