If one were to ask the local police force of Kawaguchi what their greatest asset was, an answer both surprising and often-given would be Aideen Quinn. Hailing from America, she spent her younger years filling countless sketchbooks with depictions of criminals that her policeman father would describe to her after-hours. When the pair moved to Japan, Aideen became a familiar presence at their city’s police station, always quietly drawing those who came in and out. Her impromptu career only truly came to light after an unexpected attack on the station itself. Since then, her fanbase practically exploded and she gets invited to conventions from all over the world. Her fame also gets her quite a stunning amount of comissions for cosplays, which she sews all by herself. This, along with her unusual cosplay at Jump Festa as The Empress from the fantasy anime Journey to Oblivion, got her noticed by Hope’s Peak and as soon as Kaya saw the invitation, she gladly accepted her new high school life as the Super High School Level Cosplay Idol.

When the popular Chef Search television series launched a spin-off season that focused on younger contestants, many viewers wondered if this so-called gimmick could ever be taken seriously. The children featured on the show turned out to be shockingly adept in a kitchen, however, and the most notable one among them was eleven-year-old Kenichi Kagata, who would go on to win the head-to-head competitions that ended the season. While the money prize was great on its own, the real reward was the attention that centered on him in the years after the season finale was aired. Kenichi has since made many appearances on television to follow up on his success, but he is best known for being prolific in other cooking programs, despite his age. Today, he focuses on competing on shows that pit him against other chefs, and he’s become a worthy match even against chefs decades his senior. A teenager manages to hack the Japanese government. A line like that sounds like it belongs in a cheesy action flick, but that sentence is anything but fiction. Although, this teenager is no criminal with a plan for world domination. Rather, the young man in question is an ethical hacker that goes by the online alias ‘Kuma3’. Chosen as one of a select few ethical hackers to participate in a cyberterrorism simulation, Kuma shows hacking and security exploitation skills that are far beyond his age. During the simulation, he was able to catch the eye of the Japanese government with his skill and precision. Even for his age he was able to catch an exploit that even experts managed to overlook.

Lucas Tanaka has gained popularity in recent years as a peculiar practitioner of parkour, however fame was not what he was looking for. Despite his attempts at anonymity, Lucas has developed a nicely sized fan following, after a Website/YouTube video of him performing spectacular stunts across several buildings in downtown Tokyo went viral. With his identity a secret from the general public, they began calling him the Fudojanpa, which roughly translates to “the hooded jumper.” Sponsors would go crazy for him, if only he’d just accept his celebrity instead of running from it…

Because of her dropping grades, Harudori pulled her daughter out of public schooling and opted to homeschool her daughter instead. With her mother's guidance, she was able to raise her grades and had more time to focus on her medicinal research. Sora Nishida is the boke, or funny man, of the two. His overconfident persona and the outrageous risks he takes (or claims to take) leave audiences roaring with laughter, and with such a contagious smile, it’s hard to not be taken in!

A boy who heralds himself as one of Japan’s top artistic talents, Tobio Shinohara is a master of his craft. He comes across as difficult to work with - he never cracks a smile, and he cuts right to the chase - but despite his chilly demeanor, the general consensus is that Tobio is the one to go to for prosthetics. His work is consistently pristine, perfect, and beautiful, so while his people skills may leave a bit to be desired, he is second to none when it comes to raw talent; never once has he received a complaint, and his craftsmanship is considered to be unparalleled. The catwalk is his gallery, pencils and needles are his blades. Kita Toru is a young teenage fashion sensation, his works capturing the hearts of the public with every piece of thread on the stunning models.

Some say his rise to fame was through simple luck, but many agree that it was a spirit that helped him rise to the top. Born in Shibuya, Tokyo. It wasn’t any surprise to find him surrounded by the industry since his first steps, with a cosmetologist mother and a model father he longed to contribute to his parents’ pride and joy more than anything. The only competition the boy ever had was but playful and with his brother, Kita Tsubasa. This boy was almost equal in talent to the boy but in the end they didn’t let their little competition get in front of their familial love.

Sadly, as many know happy times don’t last. After a tragic car accident at the age of 11 which led to his father’s paralysis below the waist and his mother’s scarred up face Toru thought he knew the worst of it, but in truth it was just to come. His precious brother was found dead on the scene, dead on impact. It broke the family, leaving even deeper psychological scars that tormented them for months and months. Still, there is light at the end of the tunnel and the young boy followed it. Toru picked up a pencil and sketch pad and began to pour his emotions out onto his work, creating beautiful clothing to express his grief over the death and tragedy of the incident.

This became his most famous work. At the age of 12 he finally revealed his efforts and pains to the public with the beautiful clothing under the series name of “Lacrimosa”, the public was in awe of his young age and talent, wondering how such a boy could create such beauty with pieces of fabric and thread? In the end, it didn’t matter as he kept on giving to the world of fashion with more and more works, rising in fame slowly but it wasn’t long until many knew his name. Hope’s Peak was one of the many who knew about him, and after his application to a highschool was submitted Hope’s Peak jumped right on board and invited him. Knowing this was something he couldn’t decline, Toru happily accepted the invitation and joined the ranks of Hope’s Peak as the Super High School Level Fashion Designer.
