Doraemon, on the other hand, had other ideas, specifically involving giving the sapling a Life Elixir turning it into a sentient, living plant that the Nobi household decide to adopt, naming him "Kibō".
* AccessoryWearingCartoonAnimal: He wears shoes given by Nobita, even though his root-like legs couldn't possibly fit in them. Somehow.
