It's been addressed that a character having a counterpart in other media isn't enough to qualify them as an example of Alternate Self unless the different counterparts interact or one of them is acknowledged as the other character's counterpart in another reality. I also think it's a bit of a stretch to count a character from a different but connected work as an alternate counterpart just because they happened to be played by the same actor.
