* BoobsOfSteel: Has the largest size of all the Dog Knights. Rory even hunched down between them, saying they provided extra defense.

A character that originated from a former series idea, she is in the Dog Knights' world making a living as a blacksmith. A cheerful and optimistic girl despite owning a very vicious cat.

* IWorkAlone: Rory used to go on adventures by herself before forming the Dog Knights. It was deconstructed, as Rory was barely able to survive fighting a group of monsters by herself. Realizing her limitations, Rory decided to create the Dog Knights to survive her next adventures.

* PerpetualFrowner: Rory is always shown with a deadpan frown on her face. It's very rare to see her smile.
* WaxOnWaxOff: Rory believes that her strength was born from cutting wood.

A former pit fighter and gladiator, Nix is always looking for a fight. Known for her oversized gauntlets and perpetual grin. Despite her brave and energetic attitude, she does seem to get flustered around those bigger than her

* BloodKnight: Nix loves a good fight. Her first canon appearance shows her fighting at a coliseum and enjoying the fights, smiling even as she's injured.
* CompetitionFreak: Nix is very competitive, challenging Maci to a push up contest and Rory to see who kills the most mooks.
* GoodOldFisticuffs: Nix's preferred fighting style, with no weapons other than gauntlets.
* PerpetualSmiler: Nix always has a toothy smile of her face paired with half-lidded eyes, leaving her with a relaxed expression.

* PowerFist: Nix fights by using oversized gauntlets for punching.
* TombstoneTeeth: Nix always has her teeth bared in a smile or frown. It's very rare to see her with a closed mouth.

* AwesomeButImpractical: Ori's most powerful spells, such as Freezing Touch and Hell's Pillar sounds awesome on paper, but they're more trouble than they're worth in practice. Rory gets half frozen while fighting a monster, and Jeane gets burned into a crisp when Orinette was supposed to light a fire to cook dinner.
* ChewToy: Ori tends to suffer many physical injuries during tough quests. Not even Maci suffers as much slapstick as Ori does.
* ElementalPowers: Ori can use fire, lightning, and ice spells when she fights her opponents.

* AnIcePerson: Ori has a Freezing Touch spell that freezes the weapons of another person.

* MindOverMatter: Ori can use her magic to levitate others, as seen when she levitates Baby Rory to look at her.

* RobeAndWizardHat: Played. Ori wears a leather outfit instead of the standard magic user's robe but more than makes up for it with her gigantic orange hat.

* SpellBook: Ori has a spell book with her that is full of high leveled spells for her to use.
* SquishyWizard: Ori is the wizard of the dog knights, and the first one to fall down in a fight because of her frail physique.

* BewareTheNiceOnes: Jeane is the nicest member of the Dog Knights, but she can easily plow through enemies with her shield. She also literally carried Rory in her arm out of frustration after Rory refused to go shopping with her.
* ChefOfIron: Jeane is the TeamChef and one of the best fighters in the Dog Knights.
* DumbBlonde: Jeane is a golden retriever and not the brightest bulb in the box.

* HeroWithAnFInGood: WordOfGod states that Jeane used to be a member of an Order of Knights but they kicked her out due to her being [[KindheartedSimpleton so nice (and dumb)]].
* IgnoredEnamoredUnderling: Jeane has a rather hopeless crush on team leader Rory, who once bit her on the nose when she asked for a kiss.

* JoustingLance: Jeanne uses a lance when she fights, which fits her paladin position.

* NiceGirl: Jeane is the nicest member of the Dog Knights. She protects the group, feeds them, and is very affectionate.
* ThePaladin: Jeane is a paladin who uses a lance and shield, and enhances them with magic.
* SupremeChef: Jeane is the chef of the party, having been taught how to cook by her father. Sadly, she doesn't get to eat her meals as much as she wants because the rest of the party finishes them first.

* ButtMonkey: Maci is always getting the short end of the stick. Rory uses her as a shield, forces her to take boring quests, among other indignities.
* ChildhoodFriendRomance: Maci and Bruno were close friends as children and are now in a relationship as adults.
* CounterAttack: Maci's Counter is her most powerful shield move, but it requires Maci to attack at the same time her enemy does.
* FieryRedhead: Maci has red hair that matches her orange fur, and she's very emotional.
* HeightAngst: Maci has some qualms about her short height, such as having angry tears at Nix being taller than her for about a head despite being the second shortest member of the group. She also dreams of being taller while having Rory be as small as her.
* HumanShield: Maci wears an oversized shield on her back, which her taller teammates take as license to pick her up and use her as a shield, even though her extremities are still very vulnerable.
* TheNapoleon: Maci is the shortest member of the group. She's also the first one to get angry or excited.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Maci is the oldest member of the group despite being the shortest one.
* ShieldSurf: Maci can use her shield to surf down slopes.
* SwallowedWhole: An annoyingly regular occurrence for Maci, fortunately the rest of the party usually cuts the monster open before she's digested.
* ThrowDownTheBomblet: Maci uses bombs of different sizes as her main attack, since her shield is not enough to do the necessary damage during fights.

* BareFistedMonk: Excluding her gauntlets, Nix prefers to fight by using the brawling skills she learned as a pit fighter.
