* SadisticChoice: In the very episode where the Digimon Emperor's human identity is revealed, he tries engineering one for Daisuke/Davis. After making the rest of the Digidestined an their Digimon disappear by swallowing them with sand, The Emperor appears to have them as captive and hanging from a bridge, demanding that Daisuke/Davis to choose which of his captured friends should be eaten by a Deltamon that he has under his control via a Dark Ring. Daisuke/Davis resorts to [[TakeAThirdOption offering himself as a sacrificial lamb]] since he can't choose. The Emperor only has time to say a mocking reply that he will not satisfy Deltamon's hunger before circumstances beyond the Emperor's control lead to this attempt at a no-win situation being exposed as a trap, with the Digidestined hanging from the bridge turning out to be Bakemon in disguise as the originals are able to bust out from the sand thanks to Digmon.

* WorldHealingWave: Lets loose one of these with his dying breath, converting himself into energy and undoing the damage [[spoiler:[=MaloMyotismon=]]] had caused to the Digital World. More justifed than most since he used a world already said to be capable of making your dreams become a reality to make it happen.
