* DecapitationRequired: Decapitating demons with a Nichirin Blade is one of the few methods that can kill a demon, as the blade is made of an ore that absorbs sunlight. If a demon is decapitated through other means however, they can simply regenerate and reattach their head, with the only exception being when Muzan beheaded Wakuraba and negated his ability to regenerate. [[spoiler:So far, the only demons immune to this method of killing are Muzan himself (since his regenerative abilities are so powerful that decapitating him proves ineffective), Akaza, Kokushibo (both of whom are able to overcome it with sheer willpower), and the demonized Tanjiro (who inherited Muzan's immunity).]]

* ForcedIntoEvil: Well, she's already a demon so she's not exactly a TokenGoodTeammate. However, it's pretty explicit that she abhors Rui and the "family" and only participates out of fear.

* ForcedIntoEvil: Well, she's already a demon so she's not exactly a TokenGoodTeammate. However, it's pretty explicit that she abhors Rui and the "family" and only participates out of fear. [[spoiler: Once she's free of Rui, she tries to warn Tanjiro about his status as a Lower Moon.]]

* MysteriousPast: [[spoiler: What series of events could've possibly led to a small child being turned into a demon?]]

* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: The existence of a demon as benevolent as Eldest Sister doesn't really mesh well with what we see of Muzan's recruitment process. Most people Muzan reaches out to and transforms are criminals and those shunned from society. Additionally, he goes to great efforts to overwrite all their positive traits and replace them with a psychotic bloodlust. Eldest Sister showing such genuine affection to another Demon is something Muzan would never want to happen as it would lead to his subjects uniting against him.

* NoGoodDeedGoesUnpunished: The "eldest sister" displayed a genuine kindness demons almost never show to others by offering the "older sister" to escape with her so that the two could live free of Rui's abuse. How was she rewarded for that? The "sister" she wanted to save betrayed her, sold her out to Rui, and the "eldest sister" ended up meeting her end by being burned on the sunlight.
