This forced her to grow up and realize how her irresponsibility had hurt others in more ways than one, so from then on she started taking her duties more seriously.

* BewareTheSillyOnes: She's a cheerful and somewhat childish mare, though it's largely out of personal preference and her desire to not let her own responsibilities consume her life. However, it doesn't change the fact that she's presently an extremely powerful goddess with the power to blast holes in mountains with a casual blast or manipulate colors on vast scales, which is much more dangerous than it sounds due ecological and biological reliance on colors.

* FantasticRacism: This is what pushed her to go into hiding during the Imperium Era and the Second Age - in the former period, the Imperium of Ponykind had become absolutely xenophobic and started killing off any non-Pony creatures they found. In the latter period, all magical creatures were persecuted by the [[DoesNotLikeMagic Interregnum]] just for possessing magic, which also forced the modern Unicorns she created to go into hiding with her as well. She eventually [[HeelFaceTurn betrays her mother]] when her cousin, Canteros, intervenes by convincing her to live among mortals for a while, which taught her what true love is and opened her eyes to her parents' wickedness. Despite opposing her parents and warning the Hierarchs about their plans, many Alicorns hated and persecuted her just for being related to two Fallen deities, and this contributed to her overall trauma once the wars ended. Fortunately, she would meet Luminiferous, after which things turned up for her from there.

* AntiAntichrist: Doubly so: she was born from the union of [[EvilMatriarch Silk Dawn]] and [[SatanicArchetype Morning Star]], both of whom had nefarious intentions for her. She ended up realizing how wrong their actions were and opposing them both, but unfortunately, her heritage [[SinsOfOurFathers made her a target of persecution for those who were either hurt by Morning Star's actions, or simply believed being Morning Star's daughter made her equally accountable for his crimes]].

** Rose Regalia is also related to Luminiferous, the {{Expy}} of Series/UltramanGeed, by virtue of being his older half-sister through [[SatanicArchetype Morning Star]], who's based on Geed's father, Ultraman Belial. * CurbStompBattle: Due to her being much younger than her Fallen mother, Silk Dawn, who is a "Primeval"-ranked goddess, all fights tend to end poorly even if she were to fuse with her friends for extra power. She actually knew this during her first battle with Silk Dawn, which is why she summoned her grandmother, Urun, knowing her mother would never fare against a [[TheOldGods Grand Primeval]], and [[HoldTheLine kept Silk Dawn distracted]] until Urun [[BigDamnHeroes arrived in-person]].

* LethalHarmlessPowers: Her domain of Colors doesn't look very impressive on paper, but in practice it has potential to be devastating on a global scale. As color manipulation involves [[LightEmUp light manipulation]] to a degree, she could choose to shut down colors on all wavelengths and turn everything greyscale, which could have massive consequences on all lifeforms -- from blinding all animals, to shutting down photosynthesis in plants and ''collapsing the entire ecosystem'' at its foundations. In a way, this ironically makes her a PersonOfMassDestruction since her original duty was to prevent the world from losing its colors, which she eventually resolved permanently.

* PersonOfMassDestruction: She could blow holes in mountains and manipulate colours on a continental scale (which is ''much'' more dangerous than it sounds when you consider the ecological impact this could cause), and in general cause widespread destruction with her great strength if she chose to. Fortunately, she won't do so except to stop evildoers and protect others.

* PrettyPrincessPowerhouse: She's a fun-loving and cheerful Alicorn princess from the fantastic and compassionate Third Age who happened to have enough raw power to rival vastly older deities, blow apart mountains with ''test'' shots and manipulate colour-related phenomena on a continental scale.

* RainbowsAndUnicorns: As in canon, she was Third Age Unicorn who's heavily associated with rainbows. Both her mane and tail are rainbow-colored, she was a Princess of Unicornia chosen to wield the [[MagicWand Rainbow Wand]] to restore the world's colors every year, and under Luminiferous' tutelage, she Ascended to godhood as the Alicorn goddess of ''Rainbows''. During the end of the Third Age, she absorbed the entire Rainbow Nexus into herself to save it from being destroyed by the Oceanaiads' suicidal gambit, [[RapidAging aging her up]] and making her much more powerful than before. While the daunting prospect of having to master such raw power devastated her, it also gave her the means to permanently restore the world's colors (give or take a few missed "scars") so no one would have to rely on the Rainbow Wand or the ritual she performed yearly.

This is very important -- Equus's magical field was severely damaged [[spoiler:by the Void Sovereign]] during the "Void Aeon" event, and thus light's ability to become color went haywire, causing everything losing its color and turning greyscale. An entire planet losing its colors is far more dangerous than it sounds as it would effectively trigger an ecological collapse (among other cataclysmic problems) if it wasn't stopped. Unfortunately, she was too young and carefree to understand the ramifications of her role and her constant goofing off nearly doomed everyone, forcing her to take her duties more seriously. ** Come the Fourth Age, her cheerful and fun-loving personality, as well as her refusal to let her royal position affect her friendships with others, would cause many deities of that Age to see her as rebellious by ''their'' standards. They would try pressure her to act like a 'proper' deity, to which she would respond by pointing out her behavior ''was'' proper for a deity in the empathy-driven Third Age.

However, her competitiveness and love for sports (especially roller-skating) caused InUniverse speculation that she also might be an ancestor to the Fourth Age's Rainbow Dash.

* LethalHarmlessPowers: Why her ability to manipulate colors on potentially continental scales at full strength adds to her status as a PersonOfMassDestruction - she could shut down colours of all wavelengths in an area should she chose to, turning everything greyscale. While this doesn't sound bad in theory, the ramifications are enormous as many, ''many'' ecological and biological processes are dependent on the different colour wavelengths, meaning that immediately or eventually she could cause catastrophic damage on all living things within the area of effect, from blinding all the animals, to shutting down photosynthesis in plants and ''collapse the entire ecosystem'' from its foundations. This is especially ironic as she was made the Princess of Rainbows back in the Third Age whose duty was to prevent this from happening on a global scale and ultimately fix the issue causing it, which she succeeded in.

* UnskilledButStrong: Her feat of absorbing the entire Rainbow Nexus left her so powerful that she discovered a casual blast obliterated a nearby mountain. This contributed to her HeroicBSOD as she realized she had to train herself lest she risk ending the world ''again''. Thankfully, she had several millennia worth of practice and Emperor Golden Scepter has been teaching her how to hone her powers further, but she still relies on overwhelming power more than she does skill. One of her old enemies, Grand Sorcerer Necraaiqed, even comments on this in his BadassBoast when they reunite in the Fourth Age and prepare to battle each other:
