* TheChampion: Of the World Spirit of Equus themselves, having been linked to the biosphere of Equus after trying to heal the planet of the lingering Void and Abyssal corruption.
* ChummyCommies: He admitted to being both a socialist and a technocrat (i.e. governance by science and/or technology), and it's noted his beliefs led to him becoming a divine patron of socialist/technocratic societies like the Free Mustangian Combine Republics, the industrialized techno-realms of Pferdia, and technologically-inclined Nordskelt Deer Realms. He is still a rather nice, friendly, and empathetic god despite his numerous flaws.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: He suffered from bipolar disorder since colthood and struggled with living with [[MoodSwinger constant mood swings and depressive episodes]] for all his life. When he became a musician, being around other people made him extremely self-conscious, and his crippling stage fright drove him to drink in order to cope with it. Then he lost several family members, including his parents, and got addicted to drugs. The situation got so bad that his older sisters had to intervene and put him in a psychiatric ward for his own good. * DeityOfHumanOrigin: He was originally a mortal Earth Pony who Ascended to demi-godhood postmortem after observing and realizing that all things, including nature, are not permanent and will eventually die off. * DontYouDarePityMe: Justified; he grew up in an era where ableism was common, with mental illness being either derided as "weakness" by society, or treated as DemonicPossession by religious communities. As a sufferer of bipolar disorder, he knows how it feels to be [[CondescendingCompassion treated like an "inferior"]] and advocates for true empathy towards the disabled (i.e. treating the disabled as equals and helping them live as normal a life as possible).
* EmotionSuppression: Deconstructed. After discovering that his reactions to things stayed mostly the same, he tried repressing his "bad" emotions, believing his death didn't really cure his bipolar disorder and fearing his adoptive family would see him as a burden. As an Ailcorn from the Second Age, he is tens of thousands of years old, and due to how [[StrongerWithAge divine aging]] works, he has forest-green wings with black gradients. After his empowerment, he presently has four wings with developing feathers made of Decay energy, which are signs of incredible power despite being chronologically much younger.

He can connect to any environment he's in to gain information on its health, and possesses a vast, encyclopedic knowledge on various past and present biospheres and geographies. Through his link, he can enrich barren lands, grow and heal plants at accelerated rates, and freshen the air via his mere presence.
* HappilyAdopted: While he never stopped loving his biological family, he accepted Audens Manes as yet another mother-figure when she adopted him into her branch of the Trimortidae.
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: As shown by his quote, many of his jokes are pointed at himself, and it can be inferred that [[StepfordSnarker it's his way to cope with both his psychological issues and the various hardships in his life]].

* HotGod: He was known in part for his handsome, vampiric appearance, which both amused and irritated him. This didn't change at all after he died and Ascended postmortem.

This proved to be beneficial during the "Final Ragnarok" crisis, since the Hoyklan Deer Pantheon's goal was to liberate the Nine Realms from the Shadowed Ones, their allies, and the Ragnarok Cycle they devised once and for all.

* OurGodsAreDifferent: He's an '[[DeityOfHumanOrigin Ascendant deity]]', described InUniverse as being the rarest of the three main types of deities. Like all deities, [[StrongerWithAge he becomes more powerful and eldritch the older he gets]]. He's also a [[GodOfTheDead Death deity]], having Ascended post-mortem and this being technically dead as his nature binds him to the afterlife realms he watches over.
