* AdaptationalBadass: In ''Manga/JojosBizarreAdventurePhantomBlood'', Speedwagon was a normal human who used his street-smarts and [[CarryABigStick sledgehammer]] to save the day. Here, Speedwagon led one of the most powerful gangs in the Isle of Pony and a CombatProtagonist who gave Gifted Goldstar a hard time in their first fight. After his HeelFaceTurn, he became a HunterOfMonsters with PsychicPowers, Hamon, and a Stand, all which increased in strength ''tremendously'' when he Ascended. The "Abyssal War" turned Speedwagon into an eldritch god, making him so incomprehensibly powerful that he had to restrain himself lest he wreck the environment and drive people mad.
* AdaptationalJerkass: Unlike canon Speedwagon, who made a HeelFaceTurn and turned into a NiceGuy shortly after [[DefeatMeansFriendship his defeat]], Codex Speedwagon was a cynical, bitter, and angry stallion who took much longer to come around due to his harsh past. His cynicism and ruthlessness clashed with his more idealistic friends, and he was obsessed with avenging his gang's decimation. It took nearly dying and being saved by two helpful gods for him to realize his flaws and work in overcoming them.

* AFatherToHisMen: Despite being a hardened street thug, he genuinely cared for his gang, the Londoneighium Devils, to the point where he swore revenge against Dio Brando after learning his gang was reduced to a few survivors by Dio's zombies. After turning over a new leaf and founding the Speedwagon Foundation, he extends this attitude to the many mares and stallions who worked under him. Part of the reason why he steps down as CEO following his EldritchTransformation in the Third Age is out of fear of [[ScrewTheRulesIHaveSupernaturalPowers using his powers to make his agents do reprehensible things]] for the [[UtopiaJustifiesTheMeans greater good]].

* FictionFiveHundred: Like his canon counterpart, he became extremely wealthy after traveling to Ponyland and striking oil in Lonestar. He proceeded to use his wealth to both found the globe-spanning Speedwagon Foundation, and financially support the widowed Shining Settlement as she raised her son, Generous Goldstar II, and later grandson, Gorgeous Goldstar.

* FromNobodyToNightmare: He went from a poor, abused colt to a [[TheArtfulDodger petty thief]], before becoming one of the most powerful and respected gang leaders in Bitain. By extension, his gang, the Londoneighium Devils, was previously a small group of petty criminals from Ogre Street known as the Ogre St.'s Devils until he took over. This changes when he meets (and is [[DefeatMeansFriendship defeated]] by) Gifted Goldstar, after which he pulls a HeelFaceTurn.

* AbstractApotheosis: After dying while protecting Iggy and meeting the Grand Primevals, Sacred Peace chooses to help his friends defeat [[SerialKiller Fortunate Shadow]] instead of joining his dead mother in the Heaven-Realms. As a reward, the Grand Primevals bring him back to life, in the process causing Sacred Peace to Ascend as the Alicorn demigod of Space, Destruction, Suffering, and Endings.

* AdaptationalAngstUpgrade: Okuyasu's DarkAndTroubledPast is given much more focus, especially in regards to how it affected him psychologically. Years of abuse from his [[BigBrotherBully older brother]] and [[AbusiveParents father]] left Sacred Peace aloof, solitary, and submissive, and he developed a GuiltComplex over his actions as Blessed Wealth's accomplice once the ramifications hit him. * AdaptationalExplanation: How he got The Hand is explained here: He was accidentally pricked with the Stand Arrow, leaving his older brother, Blessed Wealth, no choice but to include him in his plan to MercyKill their vampirized father. He was also given the role of luring people into Blessed Wealth's shooting range and protecting their house from intruders.
* AdaptationalIntelligence: Sacred Peace is a far cry from his canon counterpart. Whereas Okuyasu is an IdiotHero who acted impulsively and relied on others to think for him, Sacred Peace is much smarter thanks to Speedwagon taking him in as his ward, allowing him to make up for years of academic neglect. He's also much more understanding of the nature of his [[PowerOfTheVoid Stand]], and applies his knowledge to his domains of [[DestroyerDeity Destruction]] and [[SpaceMaster Space]]. whereas Okuyasu's main method of attack is "[[Dumb Muscle Swipe and punch]]". As an architect, he's also well-versed in construction and architectural design, which Okuyasu does not have.
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: Okuyasu is a HotBlooded IdiotHero who can be crass and impulsive, but is ultimately a nice guy who is very loyal to his friends. [[AdaptationNameChange Sacred Peace]] is much nicer and more empathetic, notably coming to sympathize with disabled creatures after being blinded by Vanilla Ice as a teenager. He's also fond of kids and is a HumbleHero who doesn't brag about his achievements. The implication is that it can also erase even immortals like Dio Brando or Kars. Here, The Hand can't kill people, which Sacred Peace admits is a self-imposed restriction on his part -- likely due to The Hand's sheer power the Stand possessed and his discomfort with killing.

* AllYourPowersCombined: After Ascending, he gains the combined magic of all existing mortal Pony tribes.

* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: Zigzagged. Sacred Peace was initially the "Foolish" to Blessed Wealth's "Responsible"; initially, he didn't know how to use his powers well, and he relied on Blessed Wealth to look after him since their vampirized father had become a bloodthirsty beast and needed to be chained up. However, it soon becomes clear that Sacred Peace has better moral fibre compared to his older brother, and while he did help Blessed Wealth in his plans, he didn't cause multiple deaths with the Stand Arrow in a poorly thought-out attempt to MercyKill their father. After pulling a HeelFaceTurn and ending up in the care of Speedwagon, Sacred Peace learns to break the cycle, eventually cutting Blessed Wealth out of his life when the latter proves too toxic and stubborn to be redeemed.

* LaserGuidedKarma: Raspberry Beret served as this for the residents of Shakedown Road. The residents of Shakedown Road exploited a supernatural phenomena to con and extort people out of their money, giving Shakedown Road its name, which was helped by the Second Age's low magic levels at the time. Then Raspberry Beret was "born", and her loving upbringing would motivate her to put an end to the extortions once and for all.

* IntergenerationalFriendship: He was a teenager when he befriended Young Fruit and Quick Stream, both of them young colts. This ends up saving both Young Fruit and Quick Stream's lives from Fortunate Shadow later on. On the flipside, his other friend, Graceful Cedar is older than him chronologically despite being a teenage ghost, having been the foalsitter of a then-young Vanishing Beach (who himself is one of the older Warriors of Mareioh) prior to her untimely death.

** Sacred Peace also plays a much bigger role in hindering Fortunate Shadow's plans. His precognitive powers let him save many people from being killed by [[HavingABlast Killer Queen]], while his guide dog, Iggy, can purify Killer Queen's bombs. His blindness also makes him [[NoSell immune]] to [[GroundhogDayLoop Bites the Dust]], as it activates by entering people's eyes; when Sacred Peace attacked Fortunate Shadow in retaliation for Graceful Cedar's murder, Fortunate Shadow with Bites the Dust to defend himself, ending the "Mareioh Time Loops". And while Sacred Peace is killed by Killer Queen's air bombs, he comes BackFromTheDead as an Alicorn demigod and screws over Fortunate Shadow even further: He captures and tames Tama (who was weaponized as part of Killer Queen), and uses The Hand to [[AnArmAndALeg erase Fortunate Shadow's front hooves]], preventing him from using Killer Queen. This gave Gotaro Kujo the opening to beat Fortunate Shadow to death with [[RapidFireFisticuffs Star Platinum]].

Because Sacred Peace managed to save him from being blown up by Killer Queen's bombs, Young Fruit became a witness to crucial evidence that let the Warriors of Mareioh piece together the identity of Killer Queen's user, Fortunate Shadow. Saced Peace's friendship with Quick Stream influenced the initially sullen, apathetic colt to become kinder and braver, playing an important role in Fortunate Shadow's downfall like in canon. It also made Sacred Peace's desire to see Fortunate Shadow stopped a little more personal when the latter murdered Quick Stream for ratting him out.

* DestroyerDeity: After ascending, he becomes a God of Destruction, and is a benevolent example. He mainly destroys things that need destroyed for the sake of the world.

* DisabledInTheAdaptation: Sacred Peace is not only blind thanks to Vanilla Ice, but also suffers from PTSD from both his abusive upbringing and fighting the evil Stand users running around Mareioh -- including dying briefly to Killer Queen's air bombs. He also has a huge GuiltComplex stemming from his belief that he is guilty of his older brother's crimes by proxy, since Blessed Wealth's misuse of the Stand Arrow caused multiple deaths and Sacred Peace helped him find targets to shoot at. * DivineDate: Initially his relationship with Gosuke was this once they got together, as he had become an Alicorn demigod by that point while Gosuke was still mortal. Once Gosuke also Ascended, their relationship turned into EternalLove.

* LikeFatherUnlikeSon: Despite the abuse he suffered as a colt, Sacred Peace grew up to become a kind and compassionate stallion who desired to help alleviate people's suffering. Even though he does have the power to destroy things and (theoretically) people, he uses it for good, and feels uncomfortable with killing people outright. Sacred Peace's father, meanwhile, was an abusive father to his sons, willingly became a vampire just to get back the money he lost in Tokneigho's economic bubble period, and later became a feral, hateful beast in his quest to satiate his thirst for blood. Ironically, Sacred Peace lost his sight to a vampire.

* RedOniBlueOni: Unlike in canon, he's the Blue Oni to Gosuke's Red Oni, exemplified by his preference for (dark) blue clothes. Sacred Peace's shyness led to him appearing aloof and solitary, whereas Gosuke was more cheerful and outgoing, but had a nasty temper. However, it's later zigzagged -- while Gosuke mellowed out over time, Sacred Peace became more cheerful and better at socializing the longer he hung out with Gosuke and others. And while not as bad as Gosuke, he also has anger problems and can fly into a rage when sufficiently provoked.

While he could still fight, his battle with a [[FaceHeelTurn vampirized]] Straight Path made it clear that he wasn't the spry, young fighter he used to be.

* TokenEvilTeammate: While it would be a stretch to call him "evil", he was a street thug and gang leader prior to meeting Gifted Goldstar, and his ruthless mindset carried over into his actions as an adventurer despite pulling a HeelFaceTurn. Notably, unlike his teammates in Helwyr Nos, he was the only GuileHero in the group and the only one willing to [[CombatPragmatist fight dirty]]. This ends up being deconstructed as his methods rankled his more fettered and altruistic teammates, to the point where they argued over how to do things. Feeling like an outcast with no place in the group, he tried proving himself by fighting alone... only to nearly get himself killed doing so. While he does have a JerkassRealization, his teammates realized how their own self-righteousness worsened things between them, and they shared a mutual apology.

* UnclePennybags: As in canon, he became an extremely wealthy stallion after striking oil in Lonestar. * FamilyThemeNaming: Sacred Peace's name is similar to that to his mother's, Gentle Presence, with both indicating a kind character. Meanwhile, his father and older brother are named after prosperity and wealth, such as Flourishing Harvest and Blessed Wealth.

** This was also Sacred Peace's reaction when his furious outburst led to Judging Shadow's photograph escaping. It ends up being deconstructed as it became part of a huge GuiltComplex that stemmed from his gulit over his father and especially his older brother's actions. Gosuke eventually calls him out on his constant self-pitying, pointing out that Sacred Peace was hurting himself by continuing to beat himself up for even things that weren't his fault. This caused Sacred Peace to finally let go of his guilt.

* BewareTheNiceOnes: He's a very kind stallion who desires to alleviate people's suffering, and sympathizes greatly with abuse victims and disabled creatures. He pursued architecture as a career path because he wanted to disabled creatures' lives easier, and believes as a god of Destruction that part of destroying things involves letting them go. However, he not only embodies Destruction, but also ''Suffering'', and he can inflict various kinds of suffering upon others if he chose to. He's also the wielder of the Stand The Hand, which can erase anything; while unable to kill people outright, The Hand can still inflict grievous injuries via [[AnArmAndALeg amputation]] or altering the environment. And while not as bad as Gosuke's, he still has anger issues and can fly into a rage when sufficiently riled up.

** Sacred Peace also plays a much bigger role in hindering Fortunate Shadow's plans. His precognitive powers let him save many people from being killed by [[HavingABlast Killer Queen]], while his guide dog, Iggy, can purify Killer Queen's bombs. His blindness also makes him [[NoSell immune]] to [[GroundhogDayLoop Bites the Dust]], as it activates by entering people's eyes; when Sacred Peace attacked Fortunate Shadow in retaliation for Graceful Cedar's murder, Fortunate Shadow with Bites the Dust to defend himself, ending the "Mareioh Time Loops". And while Sacred Peace is killed by Killer Queen's air bombs, he comes BackFromTheDead as an Alicorn demigod and screws over Fortunate Shadow even further: He captures and tames Tama (who was weaponized as part of Killer Queen), and uses The Hand to [[AnArmAndALeg erase Fortunate Shadow's front hooves]], preventing him from using Killer Queen. ** Sacred Peace also plays a much bigger role in hindering Fortunate Shadow's plans. His precognitive powers let him save many people from being targeted by [[HavingABlast Killer Queen]], while his guide dog, Iggy, can purify Killer Queen's bombs. His blindness also makes him [[NoSell completely immune]] to [[GroundhogDayLoop Bites the Dust]], as it activates by entering people's eyes; when Sacred Peace attacked Fortunate Shadow in retaliation for Graceful Cedar's murder, Fortunate Shadow was forced to withdraw Bites the Dust to defend himself, ending the "Mareioh Time Loops". And while Sacred Peace is temporarily killed by Killer Queen's air bombs, he comes BackFromTheDead as an Alicorn demigod and screws over Fortunate Shadow even further by not only capturing Tama (who was weaponized as part of Killer Queen, but also using The Hand to [[AnArmAndALeg erase his front hooves]], gravely wounding the SerialKiller and leaving him unable to use Killer Queen in any way. This gave Gotaro Kujo the opening to kill Fortunate Shadow via NoHoldsBarredBeatdown with [[RapidFireFisticuffs Star Platinum]].

* UnskilledButStrong: As in canon, Sacred Peace started off as this, being very inexperienced in using The Hand's erasure powers. This allowed Gosuke to defeat him in their fight. Fortunately, he learns how to use The Hand more effectively after becoming Speedwagon's ward and especially after being blinded by Vanilla Ice, and he gets even stronger from there.
