* KnightOfCerebus: They are outright darker than other terrorists in DieHardOnAnX movies. Not only are they generally mean-spirited, but their atrocities and {{Karmic Death}}s are so graphic and intense that it initially got the movie a NC-17 rating before it had to be cut down.

* KnightOfCerebus: He's possibly darkest and vilest out of all Hans Gruber [[{{Expy}} Expies]] in movies. He and his gang even nearly garnered the movie a NC-17 rating with their atrocities and own deserved deaths before editing down for an R rating. He and his gang are basically [[Film/TheLastHouseOnTheLeft Krug and his gang]], but with heavily armed weapons and combat expertise.

* KnightOfCerebus: He's the darkest and vilest out of all the other DieHardOnAnX henchmen in movies. His notable highlights relevant to this trope includes being the instigator of movie's ShooOutTheClowns moment by killing Brett and injuring Evan (which the latter was actually committed by Travers in the uncut version of the movie), while his NoHoldsBarredBeatdown of Walker is PlayedForHorror. In fact, most of his atrocities and his own deserved grisly death were so graphic and horrific that it initially got the movie a NC-17 rating before getting edited down. In another movie, he would be a Creator/WesCraven-esque SlasherMovie BigBad.

* TheBrute: He's the muscle for the terrorists.

* NoHoldsBarredBeatdown: He manages to kick the shit out of Gabe. He might have won the fight, had he not given Gabe a HeroicSecondWind by bragging about doing horrible things to Jessie.

* PoliticallyIncorrectVillain: It's implied that he's a black supremacist, but nonetheless mostly had an UndyingLoyalty towards the Caucasian Qualen.

* EvenEvilHasStandards: Make no mistake, she has absolutely [[PragmaticVillainy no qualms about utilising violence to achieve her ends but she doesn't seem to take any sadistic pleasure from it and draws the line at pointless violence, perhaps simply because she considers it distasteful next to not benefiting any useful gain for her and her accomplices]].

* HurtingHero: The guilt from Sarah's death has majorly haunted him, resulting in him dropping off the grid for years.

* TheHero: He's the protagonist of the film, and the one who does the most to stop Qualen.

* {{Expy}}: Of Sadie from ''Film/TheLastHouseOnTheLeft'' for being the DarkChick amongst the HateSink group of brutal criminals, except less perverse and not rapey.
