History Characters / ClanDestine

* LongLived: The ForWantOfANail variant of Tral, who wasn't killed by Albert, survived from his world's fourteenth century into modern times - suggesting that his counterpart could have as well. He's physically weak and frail by this point, but his mental powers are still formidable.

* AscendedFanboy: He's a huge superhero fan, which is one of the reasons why he immediately dons a costume to fight crime when his powers manifest. When he meets the Franchise/XMen he's overwhelmed, and when Adam mentions the Inhumans he starts listing the members of their royal family.

* WeHardlyKnewYe: He's killed by Lenz's hybrids in the very first issue, and hasn't yet appeared in any historical stories or flashbacks.

* ImmortalityBeginsAtTwenty: They're LongLived rather than immortal, but the twins, and the other Destines we see, all seem to reach adulthood before their aging slows.

* LongLived: They’re not immortal, unlike their parents, but the Destines can live for centuries.

* DudeNotFunny: When the twins unexpectedly gatecrash a gothic wedding Cuckoo and Sam are attending, Cuckoo telepathically asks some of her friends - who happen to be real vampires - to give them a scare by threatening to kill them and drink their blood. Things escalate fast and, although nobody gets seriously hurt in the chaos, nobody finds it very funny.

* BackFromTheDead: When Adam channels some of Elalyth's power to defeat Griffen, Victor's able to tap into it and resurrect himself. Unsurprisingly, he CameBackWrong.

* CameBackWrong: Victor's spirit and power come back, but his body's not in a usable state and PossessionBurnout would apparently render any normal human body useless immediately.

* RealityWarper: It's strongly suggested, but never directly stated, that Vincent's powers fall into this category. Apart from twisting and travelling through time, he can shrink the Human Torch, stun the Thing with a gesture and seemingly access other dimensions.
* StableTimeLoop: Vincent describes his life as a paradox and a temporal knot. Although he sees himself trapped in a loop and keeps trying to change it, it never works.
* TimeMaster: Vincent can jump through time, although he's not always accurate. Some trips returned him to the present months or years later than he left. He makes time run backwards when his coffin shatters and he returns from the dead, while leaving some of the onlookers outside the effect and experiencing it in the other direction.

* RaiseHimRightThisTime: After his second clash with the Destines, he's reverted to a baby and left in the care of his rebellious Omegans. They hope he'll turn out better this time.

* GlowingEyesOfDoom: In the fourteenth century, Tral's eyes glow red, as do the eyes of his zombie army. His older variant's eyes no longer glow, and nor do those of his puppets.

* TheManBehindTheMan: His older variant is the secret ruler of an alternate Earth, using the Inhumans telepathic king Maximus as his PeoplePuppet.

* {{Telepathy}}: We mostly only see his MindControl abilities, but his older variant is able to support that power with telepathic messages, and can hold his own in a mental battle against Rachel Summers. It's his heart, not his psychic power, that fails during that battle.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: The Tral the Destines meet in 1374 is killed one page after he first fully appears, and only gets three lines of dialogue. His older variant is revealed on one page and dead by the first panel of the next.
