Omnicron's entire motive is more considered to be Omnicron views the entire world around it as a gigantic retro video game in which whoever scores the highest wins, and to do so, you have to kill massive amounts of other life-forms to achieve such a score, from which it appears [[spoiler:somebody is actively competing against Omnicron with a high score already secured long before Omnicron's arrival.]] Omnicron's usage of this trope comes more from the fact Omnicron's overall incomprehensible power makes it come across as a living force of nature that under natural circumstances should've never plausibly existed in any kind of form, and is the most blatant factor that as the most vile example of StarfishAliens in the whole SeriesFic, that Omnicron is the biggest offender of the AIIsACrapshoot.

* MadeOfEvil: [[spoiler:What happens to it in later appearances, especially once it begins murdering people or destroying personal keepsakes of individuals from whom it had considered enemies out of sheer spite alone for not having been seen as being evil ''enough''.]]

* NonStandardCharacterDesign: He's one of the few human characters in ''Citadel Of The Heart'' to always be drawn with a nose; Kirigaya Ken was also drawn with a nose in his first pic, but that was for experimental purposes. Dr. Devoniak is always ''supposed'' to have a nose in his design, even though it's also a GagNose as well.

* {{Foil}}: To Roy; despite the fact both of them contrast in a BlackAndBlackMorality and are often working together, Devoniak is more reserved about his evil schemes and, regardless of how heinous his actions are, he at least shows self-control. The same cannot be said for Roy, however, as Roy is an AxCrazy [[TheSociopath Sociopath]] who does what he does because he's just that insane.

* EvilAlbino: She's not actually albino, but she's close enough to pass as a metaphor for the trope either way; she's a one of a kind, Silver Naotolis specimen of an otherwise stone gray colored Naotolis species, and she's a ludicrous {{Sociopath}} at that.

* BodyHorror: He's physically deformed as far as human anatomy goes; very tiny legs bordering on pillar-like stubs, with massive arms comparable to an Orangutan. Despite being 11 feet tall, his bulk from his over 1 ton weight makes him look even more like an Orangutan than he does an actual human.
