* ForWantOfANail: "Atlantis is frozen" timeline. Its verse has Sol being a much larger star in which Neptune's analog is the only known planet of and is so incredibly large that Triton's analog is the size of Venus, making it an incredibly massive moon in which a polar climate was just barely able to evolve and populate it. Part of the reason for its disappearance from its verse is because alternate Sol went supernova and into black hole stage, thus trapping the entire cluster of satellites in an inter-dimensional limbo from which ''Canis diaboli'' emerged.

* ForWantOfANail: "Sapience is a curse" timeline. Earth undergoes a massive extinction event which destroys everything except mammals and fish. Larger species of mammals had long died out before this, and fish are the sole rulers of the seas. On land, virtually any smaller animal was a candidate for sapience; an outside source in the form of an Eldritch entity like Saroa decided to place a Monolith-like structure to uplift whichever animal touches it first, and the animal who does this is a ferret. As a result, Saroa is bound to the animal and its relatives and will viciously attack any life-form that tries to eradicate them to ensure sapience is eventually achieved, and even continues to do this to help further the technological advancements of them.

* ForWantOfANail: "The world with no ground" timeline. The milky way was never a spiral galaxy in this one; it is an [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elliptical_galaxy elliptical galaxy]] here. As a result, planets were next to non-existent, and many life-forms evolved to have interstellar properties to them. As a result of this, the SquareCubeLaw was non-existent and lead to many different types of body types being developed here among many, many drastic size differences and lifestyles. Electromagnetic dragons are just one of many families of creatures which generate an atmosphere around their bodies naturally.

* ForWantOfANail: "Sky burning light" timeline. The sun is a young blue giant which recently grabbed this world's equal to Uranus into its orbit and is increasing the temperature of the planet to where life-forms rapidly evolve in the atmosphere and develop an ecosystem of lighter than air animals seemingly overnight; the organisms were apparently dormant since the last time Uranus was near a star, implying Uranus came from an outside source than we know of it before getting caught by this verse's sun.

* ForWantOfANail:
** [[spoiler:"Goodnight Moon"]] timeline. Mars was once populated by water creatures that feasted in everything they could when given the chance, and were incredibly opportunistic and prone to extreme changes in their environment causing them to shrink in size and go dormant beneath the soul. When Mars' atmosphere was vaporized by solar rays, it was rendered an endangered species as billions of years would progress until the present. A specimen ends up getting found and taken to Earth against humankind's choice, but upon contact with Earth's atmosphere, it immediately perished to the common cold renovating its immune system like it was made of nothing and the SquareCubeLaw suffocating it at the same time. Other specimens that exist remain buried on Mars, but no human alive is going to attempt to bring them back.
** [[spoiler:The final stand of the specimen above is also one for Calvin itself; rather than dooming the Earth, it dies long before it gets the chance, and its would be six victim count decreases to five because David was able to be saved from its clutches. Then cue four when Miranda is forcefully dragged into Earth's atmosphere by ''M. hadronus'' forcing her back into Earth's atmosphere by not only crashing into her ship, but its own gravitational pull causing her to be dragged with it back.]]

* ForWantOfANail: Defied; next to nothing is known of the version of Ultimoria they're from, aside from with the exception of the genetic chimera male specimen Mirror M, and the augmented frozen corpse given life by force in the form of Centauri, the entire species is extinct. Not helping matters is that both specimens that exist are from revived specimens of different quality discovered outside of Ultimoria.

* ForWantOfANail: [[spoiler:Native to the reverse timeline in which the ''Code Lyoko'' and ''Sword Art Online'' stories [[SharedUniverse take place on the same Earth at the same time]]. However, this is not the verse which is shown in ''Reflection Code'' and ''Sword Art Online: Special Edition''; they are instead from a MirrorUniverse in which they were the "true" {{Ultimate Lifeform}} produced from Project Carthage. Mirror M was powerful even by the standards of the Naotolis, however, so at first glance one might wonder what makes the Naotolis an improvement. Simple; they were much smaller, more refined in armor when necessary, and could survive seemingly lethal attacks to live another day because of their robotic nature.\\

As well as due to being smaller and much easier to produce than Mirror M, they were mass produced for the purpose of combat against any future enemy by the French; designed to kill anything that moved no matter the cost. However, that all changed when the Naotolis had a malfunction occur while generating an armor; a Silver Specimen, shining out of the spotlight of the normally Gray colored individuals, stood out not just in looks, but also in intelligence; Naotolis as a whole was no longer able to be controlled once this specimen was created, and the Naotolis as a whole only obeyed her own command and hers alone, even now when it's already too late to give them basic morality and a sense of right and wrong.]]

* ForWantOfANail: "His name is Grandis" timeline. Humans developed so advanced technologically that the needs for food, water, and temperature conditions were no longer a concern for the species; now immune to every known disease, posses incredible strength and agility, and genetically engineering themselves into super-humans, they began to outgrow the very technological boundaries that made them what they were originally, and now evolved into life-forms that no longer need technology to survive on Earth or anywhere else; now branded as '''''Homo sapiens ultimorius''''', they developed increasingly new ways to progress themselves further, with the primal instinct of humankind having restored the gladiatorial natures of the species to see whom would emerge as the Champion and representative as "GRANDIS". Unfortunately, little did they realize, their chosen name matched the arrival of a robotic entity that was only tamed by the one who would ultimately end up inheriting the title... by virtue of being the last one surviving. As a result, Martin W. Mollohan and Chronicler are the only so far confirmed survivors of this species.

* ForWantOfANail: Nobody knows where in the Ultimorian Multiverse this thing came from; the only listed detail about its origins list that its original origin place was destroyed completely.

* ForWantOfANail: [[spoiler:The [=Permian-Triassic=] extinction event never happened; therapsids completely rule the planet, with dinosaurs evolving but staying in small size for carnivores with herbivorous dinosaurs getting bigger in comparison. Xilatealeon emerges as an intelligent master of the knowledge of genetics and elder specimens guide the young as to whom to breed with as to selectively breed the entire species into becoming the "Delta Predator", and eons of this practice goes on until eventually the strongest possible specimen of their race is born and heralded as the savior; it's ultimately too young by that point to stop the rest of the species from suffering genocide from the Ultimorian Deities, who have long considered the Xilatealeon species as a whole to be the most dangerous life-forms to have ever evolved in Ultimoria, and X, the sole specimen remaining, is the last remaining individual of the entire species.]]

* ManipulativeBastard: Perhaps rather infamously he's known to be this while exploiting ExactWords at the same time, as seen when he and his brother are stuck in the ''Anime/{{Pokemon}}'' anime for a few episodes of the original series. He ends up manipulating the various factors stacked against Gym Leaders in the early anime seasons to threaten Erika in that her gym will likely be shut down if he reports to "his boss" that Erika is declining challengers by being sexist towards men, and that a simple battle with Martin will be enough to keep him quiet about it from his superiors. Martin is lying through his teeth when he says this, but consider the fact most of the anime cast is extremely GenreBlind at times...

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: While Zenith himself completely destroys the entire concept of a SquareCubeLaw as does all of the Primordial Deities, his sheer size, combined with being a lot more faster in his movements than his siblings, [[spoiler:completely overwhelm the entire fabric of the multiverse when he finally shows himself in ''Crazy Carousal'', and the actual fighting off of Zenith proper in the climax has to be via a dive into one of the most lethal [[DeathWorld Death Worlds]] combined with a WombLevel for the aesthetic; the ''Heartless'' zone, located where Zenith's original heart had been torn out from his physical body.]]

* CloningBlues: [[spoiler:Is implied to be a doppelganger of the original Dr. Devoniak, due to the fact the original is dead by the time he's introduced.]]

* SeriesMascot: Considered the FaceOfTheBand for the Ultrarian wildlife for being the biggest example of a BreakoutCharacter among them.
