* StuffBlowingUp: His ''entire fighting style'' is based on this. His default attack has him tossing dynamite around (which can stick to enemies if they're close enough), his Special is a booby-trapped turkey that will attract every {{Mook}} in the vicinity for an easy mass-kill, and even his ''melee throw'' will have him sticking explosives to his opponent's face. Out of all the Bros, MacBrover is the most explosion-happy one, ''and that's saying something''.

''The Expendabros'' is a ''Broforce'' spinoff released in August 2014. When Lionsgate, the producers of ''Film/TheExpendables'', found out about the success of ''Broforce'' (by then still in Early Access) they contacted Free Lives to make ''The Expendabros'' in order to promote the then upcoming ''Film/TheExpendables3'' movie. All characters in ''The Expendabros'' are based on their counterparts from ''Film/TheExpendables3''. ''The Expendabros'' is available in Steam for free, as a demo of sorts of ''Broforce''.

* KnifeNut: Both his special and primary attack involve slashing things with his huge knife, and his primary is the only attack in ''The Expendabros'' that can be aimed in directions other than left and right. His primary was later given to [[Film/KillBill The Brode]] in ''Broforce''.

* NiceHat: He wears his trademark cowboy hat.

* NiceHat: He's never seen without his fedora.

* NiceHat: His sprite wears the famous conic straw hat.

* GunsAkimbo: Uses [[UpToEleven two machine guns]] instead of the normal one.

* LudicrousGibs: Her special is an [[UpToEleven exaggerated]] version of the Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique. Emphasis on ''exploding''.

* DoubleJump: He has similar directional attacks to those of The Brode, so the same principle applies. He can even [[UpToEleven triple jump if he also uses his upwards dash]].

* FlashStep: Just like Mr. Anderbro, he can dash in any direction by pressing the melee key and a direction. His special attack takes this UpToEleven, being able to chain a combo of up to ''fifteen'' hits by dashing in all directions, provided he doesn't miss a hit.

The Sixth Bro. Carries lots of dynamite, and turkeys to hide it in. Based on Angus [=MacGyver=] of ''Series/{{MacGyver|1985}}''

[[PhysicalGod The god of lightning and thunder]] and protector of Earthrealm, Broden has come to perform a fatality on terrorism. He is based on the [[Film/MortalKombat movie adaptation of a certain well-known game franchise]].

* AdaptationalBadass: In [[Film/MortalKombat the movie]] Raiden is actually a mentor figure to the protagonists, and doesn't actually take part in any fight (mainly because Creator/ChristopherLambert isn't trained in martial arts). His ''Broforce'' counterpart, however, [[OneManArmy does indeed fight a lot]].

* ChainReactionDestruction: Common given the area of effect of his explosives. One well-placed dynamite can trigger a wave of explosive barrels, rocketing canisters, or just take out the ground underneath an enemy [[DestinationDefenestration doorway]].
