* HateSink: Her true personality is one with no redeeming qualities. She's a despicable liar, takes great pleasure in the pain she causes Agnès and co. by manipulating them into unwittingly helping her (and [[GreaterScopeVillain Ouroboros]]) bring ruin to the Celestial Realm, and [[{{Troll}} most of her dialogue consists of taunting the heroes with intent to piss both them and the player off]].

* BishonenLine: Her first two forms look very monstrous but her final form resembles a human-sized version of her original form. Ringabel's journal even describes her final form as being beautiful. Probably intentional, considering what they resemble: a larva, a pupa, and a butterfly.

* {{Determinator}}: She's been working ''eleven hundred million years'' on her plan, and has traversed at least thousands if not millions of worlds as part of it. That takes an absurd amount of patience and persistence.

* EtTuBrute: Airy is utterly shocked that the master she revered so much would actually decide to eat her, after she worked tirelessly to help him fulfill his plan to invade the Celestial Realm.

Added DiffLines:

* KarmicDeath: Although horrific, being eaten alive by the master she revered and worked so hard to please ends up being a fitting end to Airy after she spent an entire lifetime callously using and betraying other people who saw her as a friend, all the while looking down on them and mocking them for being so gullible and blindly obedient.

* EyeOfProvidence: His second form resembles a black, inverted Eye of Providence pyramid with purple energy lines running through it. Adding onto it is one of his attacks being called "New World Order", referencing the many conspiracy theories surrounding the Illuminati and how Providence looks like their supposed symbol.

Kick The Son Of A Bitch has been disambiguated.

* KickTheSonOfABitch: Ouroborus eats Airy alive after she fails to kill the party 3 times in a row, telling the heroes that Airy is merely cattle to him. While this is still portrayed as a horrific act, Airy is a despicable liar who had manipulated countless heroes into linking the worlds together so Ouroboros can devour them and bring ruin to the Celestial Realm, causing the Great Chasm to appear in those worlds and bring about a wide swath of destruction. The false ending even has her cruelly taunt the heroes for being blindly obedient [[{{Troll}} while pretending to be possessed just to mess with Agnes]], [[IronicEcho calling them lambs to be slaughtered]], so it's hard to say that Airy's death isn't well-deserved poetic justice.

Airy is utterly shocked however when Ouroboros decides to eat her after she fails to kill the heroes too many times, with Ouroboros justifying it with the same logic.

Dewicking Bonus Boss

* BonusBoss: Fighting her is entirely optional. Unusually for the series, it isn't even obvious you can fight her in the first game -- you must walk through a wall to find a hidden passage where she waits for you.

* SadBattleMusic: During the second half of the BonusBoss fight with Deneb, she removes her hat, comes back with even more hit points, starts using attacks introduced in ''Second'', and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fv9kV5Mqen8&list=PLx7mP-9E-Nn2GszUVfd99YbfRsc3Zuycz&index=26 Altair and Vega's theme starts to play.]]

I believe the proper term for what was written there is "comparing apples to oranges". Bravely Default II is a Non Linear Sequel. Story elements in Default and Second do not apply to Default II, and entries about the player of Default II should not be on a character page for Default and Second. If there is evidence of the player being a force in Default II, that should be on one of Default II's subpages.

* AmbiguousSituation: Possibly, with ''VideoGame/BravelyDefaultII''. Most of what the player has done in the other two games, such as reviving people near death or playing with time, is covered by the Wind Crystal with Seth and Elvis' book respectively. While it is possible you are still the Guide as you are still playing the game, the most of a nod the player's interference seems to get is in the [[DefinitelyFinalDungeon Isle of Nothingness]] where the barriers Seth and the party comes across on the way to the final battle are mysteriously cleared up with messages you'd normally get from the Exploration logs that specifically mentions other players and their "chosen" Seths. Despite that, nothing is ever fully explained. Additionally, a secret ending you can get from beating Adam in his HopelessBossFight heavily implies that Edna, now unable to go through with her plans, will go off to the player's world, having been ordered to sow chaos there by the Night's Nexus.
* AuthorAvatar: You're the player of the game, so this goes by default.

Up To Eleven is a defunct trope

* UpToEleven: The previous high standard we had on "flare" spells was [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyXIII2 Jet Bahamut]]'s Exaflare[[labelnote:*]]'exa' being the SI prefix for 10^18[[/labelnote]]. Airy's final form goes a few levels past that, right into ''Zeta'' Flare[[labelnote:**]]'zetta' being the SI prefix for 10^21[[/labelnote]], a feat which has since only been replicated [[VideoGame/KingdomHeartsIII once.]]

* PragmaticVillainy: Any actions of "kindness" are just her taking the most beneficial course of action.
** She directed the player to fight Ouroboros and save Luxendarc... because Ouroboros' goal was "kill the Celestials", and Providence ''is'' a Celestial.
** When Bella comes back unsuccessful and with her asterisk stolen, Anne suggests Kaiser Oblivion [[YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness kill her for her failure]]. When Cú Chulainn offers up his life instead, on the grounds that Bella's magic is what's keeping him alive (thus if she dies, he dies), Anne is willing to agree to the offer.
