* ChildhoodFriends: A CG from the 4th PV show they've know each other since they were children.

* DrivenToSuicide: She tends to harbor suicidal tendencies, which are only kept in check due to her bond with the other Arius Squad members. Her EstablishingCharacterMoment when Sensei first meets her is her standing on the edge of a bridge and considering jumping off after Atsuko was captured by Beatrice. [[spoiler:A CG from the 4th PV heavily implies that if not for the Sensei's intervention, Misaki would have ''actually'' committed suicide.]]

* AwesomeButImpractical: The full squad is basically perfect to fight Hieronymus in the highest Insane difficulty, but that's pretty much all they're good for and you have to use all of them at once, which not only limits team building away from others, potentially stronger units like Swimsuit Hoshino and Swimsuit Nonomi, but also forces any prospective players intent on using the Arius Squad to spent the equivalent of ''96,000 pyroxenes'' (worst case scenario) just to not even be the ideal setup for one singular raid.

* TheComicallySerious: Her no-nonsense attitude combined with her ignorance of the surface world's common sense has given her plenty of moments where she misunderstands things while taking them overly seriously.
** Her first canonical example would be when [[spoiler:at the end of [=V3C4=], she takes a contract for underground work that turns out to be against her, only for fellow interviewee Aru to say some cool-sounding hardboiled drivel and Haruka to misinterpret it once again as her boss wanting the place blown up--which she did. Taking in the aftermath, Saori expresses her awe of an "experienced" criminal.]]
** In her Valentine story, she takes a job that got her injured to get an extremely expensive box of chocolates for Sensei because a salesperson told her the more luxurious, the better she conveys her feelings. Setting aside her gullibility, it's a bit funny but heartwarming to see her mean all that with a straight face.
---> '''Saori:''' "In fact, doing it half-hearted is basically "cutting ties" with the other. I mean, by giving them cheap chocolate, it's basically declaring war. The rules of "society" are complicated..."

* SuperGullible: You wouldn't expect a vicious terrorist leader to have something in common with ''Serika'' (well, besides committing crimes even on different scales), but her [[spoiler:first independent job after breaking off from Arius Squad by the end of [=V3C4=] and her]] Relationship Stories have her get into trouble by thoughtlessly signing contracts without reading the fine print and negotiating secure deals.

* TheCynic: She often voices her view on bad situations in a negative way or complains in resignation, followed by chuckles that mark her obvious despair.

* {{BFG}}: She wields an FIM-92 Stinger man-portable air defense system (MANPADS) dubbed "Saint Predator," even when pitted against primarily ground-based targets.

* DelicateAndSickly: She's hardly delicate given that she's a trained fighter, but her Relationship Stories show that she suffers from a number of conditions, including {{Claustrophobia}} and [[PlotAllergy hay fever]], which explains why she wears a face mask. She resents being born with such a weak body, which likely contributed to her [[TheFatalist nihilistic views]].

emotion, which only ever literally light up when she watches her rockets bloom in the air in her EX Skill animated cut-in.
* TheEeyore: She shows little in the way of motivation or energy especially with her weak body, unless when it comes to her friends, when she gets very annoyed, or has something to be glad about.
* EmotionlessGirl: She displays very little outward interest in anything or anyone, though she displays light emotions from time to time. This gets subverted in all her Relationship Stories, like panicking out of being trapped in an elevator that lost power, or scrambling for tissues to wipe away her pollen allergy-induced snot.

Added DiffLines:

* VanityIsFeminine: For gifts, she likes the Military Camo Foundation Trio and Samuela "The Beyond", and her favorites are Cherry-Rose Lip Gloss and Glassy Glow BB Cream. The fact that she has an interest in cosmetics is something of an {{Irony}} since she espouses the pointlessness and transience of everything (or at least used to before her HeelRealization), yet likes something that is purely vain and temporary; after all, cosmetics lack obvious applications in combat and they have to be applied on a daily basis. This shows that [[CharacterDevelopment Saori has moved past]] the despair Arius and Beatrice induced in her.

According to Mika, Arius was fiercely against the formation of the Trinity alliance, and were later purged as a result. It is later revealed that modern Arius's vendetta against Trinity was disciplined into the students by Beatrice as a method of controlling them. Beatrice resides over the school as its leader, and she uses Arius' autonomous district as her base of operations. It is also through her powers that Arius' AD remains hidden to this day, as her powers allow for the path of entry into Arius, through Trinity's ancient catacombs, to change constantly.

* GreenEyedMonster: [[spoiler: Despite how antagonistic she may act towards Azusa for her betrayal, it's later revealed that underneath all that anger, is also driven by an equal or perhaps stronger sense of envy. Azusa despite being raised in the horrible environment of Arius like her, was able to hold firm to her beliefs and never give up hope no matter how badly bad things got. Seeing Azusa find happiness and a place of her own, caused her to develop a strong sense of jealousy. The beatdown she later gave to Azusa in their first fight was partially driven by a sense of envy. However, in the end just when she was defeated by Mika in their duel and had prepared for her death, she manages to have one last talk regarding Azusa with her. Added additional tropes to Arius Squad's general folder.

Added DiffLines:

* AlwaysABiggerFish: Mika was put behind bars by the end of Volume 3 Chapter 2. [[spoiler:And then Arius Squad shows up to cause more trouble than she ever did.]]

Added DiffLines:

* DiscOneFinalBoss: Though defeated by the end of Volume 3 Chapter 3, [[spoiler:they are ultimately not the BigBad of Volume 3, but rather Beatrice and Gematria.]]

Added DiffLines:

* NoSocialSkills: None of Arius Squad has the capacity to function in society thanks to their upbringing, which heavily hampers their ability to even try and integrate into Kivotos at large.
** Saori repeatedly fails to ReadTheFinePrint on various contracts that would make use of her skills, which gets her into trouble repeatedly.
** Hiyori meanwhile nearly attempts to use expired digestion medicine as an excuse to be able to eat expired food and constantly steals Wi-Fi signals to contact Sensei.
** Atsuko doesn't even know what regular school life is like, and so resorts to breaking into another school to try and have Sensei help her simulate a normal class.

Added DiffLines:

* YouCantGoHomeAgain: After the events of Volume 3 Chapter 4, the Squad is ultimately forced to go on the run to keep clear of any bad players looking for them. Atsuko even mentions the group has to constantly stay on the move to avoid detection, and Hiyori has to hunt for Wi-Fi hotspots to contact the Sensei.

Added DiffLines:

* BFG: Her EX skill has her pulling an anti-materiel rifle from the case on her backpack, which she uses to devastating effect.
* HumanPackMule: Arius squad tends to travel light... except for Hiyori, who lugs around the team's extra supplies and her rifle. Though judging by her run during her EX skill animation, it hardly slows her down.

One of the ten playable schools in ''Blue Archive'' and has broken off from Trinity General School. No one knows where their autonomous district is, except a few individuals such as Saori. The students at Arius primarily learn to fight and kill, rather than regular subjects that normal students would learn.

According to Mika, Arius was fiercely against the formation of the Trinity alliance, and were later purged as a result.

It is later revealed that modern Arius' vendetta against Trinity was disciplined into the students by Beatrice as a method of controlling them. Beatrice resides over the school as its leader, and she uses Arius' autonomous district as her base of operations. It is also through her powers that Arius' AD remains hidden to this day, as her powers allow for the path of entry into Arius, through Trinity's ancient catacombs, to change constantly.

* {{Protectorate}}: The entire Squad is this to Atsuko, their “princess”, to the point that [[spoiler:they fight all of Arius and its headmistress despite their slim chances in Vol. 3 Ch. 4.]]
** Ironically in gameplay, Atsuko is a Tank Striker, which means being on the frontlines where her squadmates would very much want her away from.
* TrueCompanions: As early as their debut in Volume 3 Chapter 3, it’s already clear that they’re a tightly-knit group.
** [[spoiler:In [=V3C4=] Ep. 8, when the Squad gets split up, each of them were offered to return to Arius so long as they hunted Sensei; all of them refused. Though Saori sought out Sensei, she begs them to save Atsuko instead; Hiyori turned it down in favor of staying with the Squad and helping Atsuko too; and Misaki was more in favor of taking her own life, but Saori forced her to back down by stating she’ll save her from every attempt.]]
** [[spoiler:Azusa used to be a part of the Squad and was close with them until the day she stopped Seia’s assassination. Even after coming to deadly blows in Vol. 3 Ch. 3 though, Azusa still requests Sakurako to take care of the Squad in Ch. 4, saying that despite everything, [[ThickerThanWater they were still her family once]]. The Squad likewise feel the same in spirit by the last episode, especially Saori after her HeelRealization.]]

* AwesomeButImpractical: The full squad is basically perfect to fight Hieronymus in the highest Insane difficulty, but that's pretty much all they're good for and you have to use all of them at once, which not only limits team building away from other, potentially stronger units like Swimsuit Hoshino and Swimsuit Nonomi, but also forces any prospective players intent on using the Arius Squad to spent the equivalent of ''96,000 pyroxenes'' (worst case scenario) just to not even be the ideal setup for one singular raid.

* CripplingOverspecialization: All four playable Arius girls have Explosive damage and all but Hiyori have Mystic armor (who is a Special and therefore doesn't take damage). Coupled with Misaki's skill being perfect for giant enemies that don't move, Atsuko's healing, Hiyori's DEF shred sub skill and Saori's powerful critical boost, they're basically tailor made for the highest difficulty of Hieronymus. The problem is that's pretty much all they're good for as a result, and having to deploy all of them at once hampers team building.
