Azusa despite being raised in the horrible environment of Arius like her, was able to hold firm to her beliefs and never give up hope no matter how badly things got. Seeing Azusa find happiness and a place of her own, caused her to develop a strong sense of jealousy. She lashed out in anger at her, unable to accept such a thing. However, in the end just when she was defeated by Mika and had prepared for her death, she manages to have one last talk regarding Azusa with her. It was there did she finally admit that she was envious of her the whole time.]]

Before the First Ecumenical Council, modern day Trinity was nothing more than a collection of hostile schools and factions. Eventually, through the efforts of the three major academies, the First Ecumenical Council was held and a "promise" was made to stop the fighting between each school, forming the alliance that persists today. However, according to Mika, Arius was fiercely against the formation of the alliance, and were later purged as a result.
