* NiceJobFixingItVillain: During the first invasion, Renji was about to attack Äs Nödt with his bankai, only for Mask to knock Renji out before he could activate it. This ensured that Renji had his bankai still, allowing it to be reforged by Ōetsu. This leads to his death when Renji returns from the royal palace with his new true bankai.

* LipstickLesbian: Giselle is barring Meninas the most feminine Sternritter. She is also madly in love with her female friend Bambietta and not above (jokingly) flirting with Liltotto.
