That example seems more trivia and doesn't explain how the trope is in effect, which requires her lower voice to indicate she's significantly more badass than other females, which she's not, given there are other females at her level in the story.

Expy isn't for fan-made associations. It needs to be deliberate. Also, shoehorning. It didn't meet the trope requirements the first two times it was used, so it's not a subversion, the trope's not in effect.
