Admittedly, there is a pragmatic edge to it, as Dream is ''terrified'' of anything that comes from the Nether causing harm to his city, but it's still really petty.

* LittleBitBeastly: Fundy is a Hybrid with fox ears, teeth and a tail, which attributed to his father, Wilbur, being an Ancestor.

* AdaptationalJerkass: In canon, his grudge against Tommy stemmed from the conflict the two had during the Disc Wars, which was an understandable reaction even if it by no means justified or excused Dream's subsequent quest to ruin his life. Here, his grudge seems to stem from [[EvilIsPetty Tommy trying to stop him from encouraging Wilbur and Techno's mental spirals to get them to destroy L'Manberg]], which makes what he does to Tommy during the Exile Arc all the more petty and horrific.
