A band that aims to shine like the stars in the night sky. They consist of Kasumi on rhytm guitar and lead vocals, Tae on lead guitar, Rimi on bass, Saaya on drums and Arisa on keyboard and tambourine. They are still inexperienced (at first), but more than make up for it with their passion. Their songs have a cheerful, energetic j-pop rock sound.

** Rimi's is depicted as a mysterious ninja and refers to Kasumi as her "master". Personality-wise she's also the opposite, as she's quite sassy, as shown by her initially refusing to join Kasumi's band because she was only willing to play in "Japan's greatest band"..

** Kasumi was noticeably much more [[ShrinkingViolet reserved and shy]], and [[HeroicSelfDeprecation self-deprectiative]] due to being bullied when she was younger. And she has two older sisters, rather than having a younger sister.

** Saaya is [[TheGhost not shown at all]] until much later in the manga, due to her taking night classes (whereas Kasumi took day classes). She indirectly communicates with Kasumi through writing on the desk. She also uses her name in Katakana romanization before her true identity is revealed. Additionally, she has TaremeEyes instead of TsurimeEyes in most of her art. Aside from that, [[DownplayedTrope she's the closest to her current depiction]], as she's the only member whose personality isn't the opposite of her current iteration.
** Arisa is a shut-in, and is quite interested in games. Like with most of the others her personality is quite the opposite, as shown when she invites Kasumi to join her "game" (as in, convincing her to be more confident in performing). She also has TsurimeEyes instead of TaremeEyes.

* StockShoujoHeroine: A BookDumb NiceGirl who can basically befriend everyone.

* ExactWords: In the first season, it's assumed she had a FriendlessBackground due to her saying that no one ever called her a friend before, but Season 2 reveales she indeed had a friend in Rei/LAYER, making it appear to be a {{Retcon}}. However, Tae never said no one ''called'' her a friend, not that she never had a friend. Indeed, when Rei and Tae's childhood together was shown, Rei never explicitly called Tae hwr friend and vice-versa, but there was a silent agreement that they were.

* AnimalsHateHer: She tells Tomoe that she likes animals, but they don't like her back.

* OnlySaneMan: She’s the most down-to-earth and rational member of [=PoPiPa=], but that [[NotSoAboveItAll doesn’t stop her from letting loose and joining in on Kasumi’s antics.]]

* HomoeroticDream: More like (technically unseen) daydream. She has really funny reactions around Kaoru. If nothing else in the game is text-text aside from Kaoru's existence, Rimi is ''text.''

* TsurimeEyes: Her current version is commonly depicted with slanted eyes, but her original setting version had TaremeEyes instead. However, her gentle and kind personality fits better with the latter.

* TaremeEyes: She has droopy eyes, and while she is for most of the time a {{Tsundere}}, she has a soft interior underneath it otherwise.
