Added DiffLines:

* BrutalHonesty: Is not afraid to say what's on her mind even when it contrasts with her father's beliefs. Also, this gem with Milo.
-->'''Kida:''' ''[to Milo]'' You are a scholar, are you not? Judging by your diminished physique and large forehead you are suited for nothing else!

* ThePiratesWhoDontDoAnything: Amusingly, she is never actually seen repairing anything mechanical ''on-screen'' (the most technical work she is shown doing is turning a valve and a nut, tasks pretty much anyone with with a pair of functioning hands and a wrench can accomplish, and the one time her set of skills is directly needed, Milo ends up doing the job instead) meaning that her status as a great mechanic is a somewhat of an InformedAbility.

* [[ProudWarriorRaceGuy Proud Warrior Race Girl]]: She's shown to be this before and after she meets Milo. Her father even admitted 1000 years prior to the story Kira would have slain any trespasser into Atlantean territory on sight without remorse, having only not done to Milo and his crew because she was desperate for a way to save her dwindling civilization.

Added DiffLines:

* BadassGrandpa: He's 54 years old by the time of the movie and a retired army man who has led several prior expeditions. Despite his age he is easily the strongest fighter of the expedition, and in the climax was able to take two strong kicks to the face from Helga [[NoSell with little damage]] before overpowering her and throwing her off the zeppelin.

Added DiffLines:

* EvilIsPetty: You can't get anymore petty than condemning an entire civilization to death just for triple the amount of money. Or bullying Milo and the King.

Added DiffLines:

* FlatCharacter: He is evil because he wants more money. No particular reason why, especially considering he would profit significantly from discovering Atlantis. Despite pretending to be a reasonable authority figure, he turns out to be nothing more than a stock human antagonist to act as an obstacle for the hero.

Added DiffLines:

* {{Greed}}: Of all the Disney Villains that had greed as a motivation, it is egregiously exaggerated. [[FridgeLogic Who in the times of WWI would even be able to afford paying triple the profit that Rourke is desiring?]]
* HateSink: Once he's revealed to be the villain, Rourke goes out of his way to become as unlikable and despicable as possible, [[EvilIsPetty with the flimsiest of excuses]], [[StupidEvil even when its not wise to do so]], and has the most transparent of motives, all while acting like an [[SmugSnake insufferable jackass who thinks he knows better]]. His bad sense of humor is tasteless, he is completely unreasonable, and his actions and attitude are so repulsive that most of the cast immediately turn on him. and won't hesitate to throw Helga off the blimp with very little benefit.

Added DiffLines:

* {{Jerkass}}: One of the biggest assholes ever put into a Disney Film. Its not hard to see why every named character turns on him and betrays him.

* KavorkaMan: Gender-flipped. Despite being an elderly woman, she still manages to get young Atlantean men to ''fight over her''.

Added DiffLines:

* TheSkeptic: Has shades of this, but gives Thaddeus and his grandson in turn every resource required to find the proof they need to uncover Atlantis. By the end, he is thrilled to see that they were right all along.
