Astronomers Mr. and Mrs. Sterling were lovingly proud of their little girl, Elara Sterling, and she in turn always shared their interest in outer space. This got her interested in studying the practice further, however she had no interest in performing, no. She started small, crashing a few nightclub performers’ acts and flawlessly replicating their ‘powers’. Over time, people started taking notice. She soon turned her attention to a famous medium, proving her a fraud live on her own television show. Nonetheless, this was what got her noticed by Hope’s Peak Academy, earning her the title of Super High School Level Skeptic.

With his acceptance to Hope’s Peak being somewhat ground shaking, he has excelled in geology, evident in the medals he’s won within the International Science Olympiads. His knowledge of geology spreads from the formation of the three main rock types, to the theory of plate tectonics, as well as being able to identify most minerals easily with less than three methods. He’s known to be very divergent of others whenever in public, often showing signs of being a bit erratic at times, but nothing else is known about this intrusive person’s personal life other than that.

From the time she was a young as six years old, Chiasa has been ice skating. Over the years she’s been in competitions for all different sorts of things, speed skating, figure skating, everything she could possibly do, and she’s won almost every single time. She’s won countless competitions throughout her entire life, and thanks to her parents constant bragging about it every chance they get wherever they go, it’s a rather well known fact. But a talent like this doesn’t come naturally of course; she spent her whole life training at the insistence of her parents. So much of her life, in fact, that it’s all she’s ever done. She was isolated her whole life from other people her own age, made to only ever practice and compete to earn her title. Due to this her social skills, assuming there ever had been any in the first place, have been worn away completely. It’s rare to see her express much emotion, in fact you probably won’t be able to tell how she feels until she acts on it.

Genji grew up in a small town and spent most of his time outdoors and learning archery. He is an only child and never knew any of his extended family. He almost never left his hometown, so big cities are new to him. He spent anytime not at school, practicing archery. When he went to high school he joined their Archery club. Later earning a spot in a local competition, Genji took top marks and won first place.This also got him noticed by Hope’s Peak. It was a big step out of his comfort zone but after much thinking Genji accepted the offer to the school. This was the first time he spent more then a day away from his hometown.

Sachiko’s father, of whom she takes after, was also a relatively well-known composer, so it’s safe to say she’s been classically trained since birth. And, as with the Bachs, the child has proven to be more successful than the father. She wrote her first piece when she was seven, a goodbye gift to her mother. Then her career really kicked off, as her father found it and released it to the public (under his name at first, but then revealed the truth in an interview once it got super popular a few weeks later). She then assisted her father in making compositions for various movies and TV shows (gaining lots of useful connections to be used in her favor), as well as working on her own super secret personal project behind his back (except in truth, he knew all along), Fairytale, which was released just a few months prior of her being accepted into Hope’s Peak. Thanks to some meddling with connections, a live performance of it aired in Tokyo, catching the attention of thousands. Despite the title of Classical Composer, her music is more of a fusion of classical music, pop rock, and enka.

Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Honoka Yoshida was known as a prodigy child thanks to her ability to process thoughts and easily understand any kind of things she was put to, excelling at all her school assignments and getting prizes, diplomas of “Ace Student”. She was quite introverted and that put her to disadvantage in a social aspect. She found herself being interested in universe and cosmology itself, attending conventions for science, buying books, and researching the subject majorly. In high-school, she joined a research team, being the only one underage in the group. They made breakthroughs in the subject, and Honoka became more experienced in the energy and mass theories of space. Determination and desire for fame made her spend big amounts of time in research, along with her team— this gave them amounts of fame, breakthroughs within their field and prizes such as the Gruber Prize of Cosmology, and recognition by the International Astronomical Union. Her father, who worked at a retirement home, always stressed her about the importance of helping others. This lead to him taking her to the soup kitchen every Saturday so they could help feed the homeless. And Nanako loved every minute of it!
