Here, he's quite skilled at disguising himself, and while he did abuse a position as a bandit leader he's less cowardly - he's still an asshole and is helping Cameron through blackmail, but is more grudging that outright cowardice due to his self-preservation.

* AwesomenessByAnalysis: She is able to deduce that [[spoiler:Inness]] is TheArcher before even being introduced to him, simply by ''looking at his arms'' - she notices that his dominant right arm is far more toned than the other and thus he likely fights with a bow. She also isn't likely to FailASpotCheck - she picks up more from [[spoiler:the Pantheon]] than some others would have managed to get!

* GenreSavvy: She needs only one look at [[spoiler:Cameron's dead eyes]] to realise that they just like [[spoiler:her mother's, when her father died, and that it means Anna is dead. Knowing just how Mal must be feeling with this discovery, she immediately goes to comfort him.]]

Daughter of Robin and [[spoiler:Lucina]], she is discovered first when she has been [[spoiler:taken prisoner by Count Zykle of the Valmese Empire]], and it inducted into Cameron's group.

[[spoiler:As it turns out, she had a crush when she was a little girl; once she got to know him she began to develop a ''genuine'' affection for him along with the hero worship, and he eventually reciprocates.

The bandit leader who impersonate Chrom within the Valmese continent, tricking Cynthia along the way. He turns out to be a skilled disguise artist - contrary to popular opinion - which convinces Cameron to spare his life when he has him at his mercy. He decides to use Maugan's skill as he sets out to [[spoiler:form a small band of vigilantes who will [[WeHelpTheHelpless protect the common people from atrocities on ''all'' sides of the Valmese conflict.]]

* ProperlyParanoid: In Chapter 52, he argued with Chrom over his (justified) wariness about Validar (who they officially met off-screen), who he suspects ''is'' the same man that tried to assassinate Emmeryn three-and-a-half years ago; Chrom is skeptical because that man was [[NobodyCouldSurviveThat ripped to pieces by Lucien back then]], but Robin insists to not rule out the possibility (not that it matters - as Emmeryn has been made aware by Tom, they need to keep him from being suspicious so that Plegia lends support in the coming war with Valm).

* AscendedExtra: He gets some notable screentime compared to canon, starting with the Sidestory Mission ([[AdaptationalDistillation a composite of the Anna and Donnel chapters]]) and generally keeps it from there for a good while. * CelibateHero: Being in what is - for the most part - a WorldOfStraight, this is practically a given.

* [[spoiler: {AntiMagic}}: His sword is made of antimagic, a material capable of killing the setting's true gods. Grima wants it, it destroyed Cameron's shield, and if it ever touches Falchion Bad Things (tm) will happen.]]

* OneManArmy: Considering that he managed to pull a "one-man 'fuck you gangrel' mission" and succeed, yeah.
* PsychologicalHorror: Unlike the other Alternates, who are more [[ImplacableMan Implacable Men]], Lucien is describled by [[spoiler:Fire]]/Eiryss as being able to torment people psychologically, and is able to communicate mentally with Cameron.
* TheSociopath: Cruel, calculating, he treats everything as a game (including his kills), psychologically (and physically) abuses his young apprentice, is incredibly vain and perfectionistic (to the point he cannot conceive the idea that Cameron might defeat him - see the above quote), a complete narcissist who hates having anyone interfere with him and his plans (judging by his response to [[spoiler:Henry constantly finding and hurting him]])... need we go on?

A kind-hearted, seasoned mercenary who the Shepherds meet when facing the Grimleal in the desert. He met up with Cameron's friend Julian a couple months before this, and they worked together as partners.

* HeroicSacrifice[=/=]TakingTheBullet: He takes several high-power Wind spells directly in order to save Julian and their allies, who were about to be hit. They tear into him and he bleeds out.
* IntergenerationalFriendship[=/=]OddFriendship: A 40-something, bizarre mercenary and a 20-something, wyvern-riding youth from another world. They get along quite famously. Also with Nowi, of course.

The bandit leader who impersonate Chrom within the Valmese continent, tricking Cynthia along the way. He turns out to be a skilled disguise artist - contrary to popular opinion - which convinces Cameron to spare his life when he has him at his mercy. He decides to use Maugan's skill as he sets out to [[spoiler:form a small band of vigilantes who will [[WeHelpTheHelpless protect the common people from atrocities on ''all'' sides of the Valmese conflict.]]

* TheMentor/MissionControl: Until Caeron cuts him off. Following this, the other Pantheon members tell him interfere directly anymore - [[spoiler: though he still saves Cameron's hide by sending him to the ''Fanfic/DaydreamsAndNightmares'' universe, where he can also LevelGrind in a new fighting style.]]

Having fought to save Elibe twice, first from Nergal's schemes and years later against King Zephiel's invading armies, his efforts have rewarded him with becoming an Einherjar. Existing on the mortal plane for at least a few hundred years (on-off, apparently), he was sent by Tom/Xane to assist Cameron in his efforts to protect this part of the multiverse from Grima and Lucien.]]
