The Mexican accent, {{Large Ham}}miness, {{Jerk Ass}}ery, the expressions... dear God, the expressions!, the psychotic tantrums, the violence, the insults and "Space Madness" might just be one of the greatest cartoons made in the history of animation. Will you ever be able to forget the soap-eating scene? The psychotic rambling? Or his (unintended) {{Catch Phrase}}s, like "You sick little monkey!" and variations thereof, "You EEDIOT!" or "You bloated sack fo protoplasm!"?

** Seconding the Daffy statement. He was always thus troper's favourite Looney Tunes character. He's much easier to relate to than Bugs, yet still JerkAss enough for the viewers to be amused at his failures.

* Eddy from ''EdEddNEddy''. Heavily flawed, blind to the fact that his scams are imperfect, ready to sacrifice nearly everything to become popular and liked... yet his character is so brilliantly developed and expanded. This troper can barely contain the admiration she has, and always had, for this character. A much as she dislikes JerkassWoobie characters, she can feel nothing but relation and love for Eddy. He's exceptional. And he's had the best visual acting in the whole show!

*** Sissi and William. The former is one of the best developed and utlimately geuninely likeable [[TheLibby libbys]] this side of [[BuffyTheVampireSlayer Cordelia Chase]], and the latter gave XANA a much needed edge as a dark Lyoko warrior in the fourth season.

** Also, his younger sister Anne. She's quite adorable and plays off her girly sister and brainy brothers ''very'' well, sort of a foil but not so much that there's uncomfortable friction between them. And her [[YouGoGirl feminist tomboy]] attitude is never twisted into obnoxious [[StrawFeminist fauxminism]].

** This troper absolutely ''adores'' her voice actress, Shirley Millner. It's a shame she isn't better known...

* StrawberryShortcake's lady villain, Sour Grapes, was an EnsembleDarkhorse character since her debut in 1982. Brazen, intelligent, feminine without being too cutesy and yet still maintaining a place in a cutesy show by way of being a DarkChick DeadpanSnarker GenkiGirl HarmlessVillain (who has her successes outside of screen time), and it ''worked''. She was brought back for the franchise's 2003 remake by the year 2006, this time as all of the aforementioned as well as a GenreSavvy AntiVillain. She was recreated as more [[WoobieDestroyerOfWorlds insecure and timid]] than before, while the main cast was more tomboyish and go-get-'em than they had been in the '80s. Again, Sour Grapes was a darkhorse character, [[DracoInLeatherPants wearing leather pants]] (justifiably) more than ever. She was THE RoundedCharacter of the show, needing a place in the world for herself while also [[BigBrotherInstinct needing]] her GenreBlind VisionairyVillain brother's happiness, and her HeelFaceRevolvingDoor adventures made her even more sympathetic as opposed to less. CharacterDevelopment lead her to become an odd type of ParentalSubstitute (in a world where none of the main characters have parents), CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming-- but the heel face revolving door was still not set to end any time soon. Complicated woman. In both incarnations, Grapes was a fantastically rare blend of [[OnlySaneMan common sense]] and the lack thereof, something unusual for any character and all the more unusual for a female. And yes, she resides in a show created for little girls.

** Ye gods, Azula. Female {{Magnificent Bastard}}s are hard to come by, but she pretty much epitomizes the image.

*** Rounding out the unholy trinity of Viruses, of course, is Megabyte. Truly he was the late, great Tony Jay's best MagnificentBastard role.
*** Megabyte actually SUCCEEDED in getting rid of [[TheHero Bob]] for TEN EPISODES and he SUCCEEDED in [[TheBadGuyWins taking over Mainframe]]. This NEVER happens in children's cartoons. This makes him the most badass villain of all time. He's so badass he made VillainDecay his bitch. All with a natural british charm.
